“ Appalachian Dream” is a Family Owned cabin located in the desirable Bear Creek Crossing resort only 10 minutes from downtown Pigeon Forge. This private community offers three gated entrances, an Outdoor & Heated Indoor community pool, a FREE putt putt golf course (clubs & balls provided) and a wedding venue for up to 75 guests.
The cabin features a large living area that has been recently updated (Aug 2021) with new granite countertops, all new plumbing fixtures, NEW Decor & new couches, along with wood cathedral ceiling with stone fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances with a large residential sized fridge & freezer, two master suites both located on bottom floor with king beds and full bathrooms, jacuzzi tub, all hardwood floors, large Smart TVs in all bedrooms and living areas, an upstairs loft with a NEW twin kids FUN Bunk bed, a dedicated work space with office chair & small work light perfect for laptop, or online teaching/school, a full sized pool table, arcade games & a checkers table.
The outdoor area has a large porch with a propane grill, seating area, and private hot tub with a Mountain View.
This cabin is very easily accessible with a car. The gated resort has maintained paved roads for easy access.
This property has everything you need to be able to relax and enjoy the Great Smoky Mountains!
Only a few minutes from Dollywood & all the attractions that downtown Pigeon Forge has to offer. Also only a short drive down the strip to Gatlinburg and the Great Smoky Mountain National Park.
A large porch with a private hot tub with a Mountain View will help you unwind after a long day. Let our family take care of yours!
While we currently have the best internet package available to our area, we are in the mountains & the wifi may be slower than normal.

Perfect weekend getaway

Cabin was super clean, stocked with all the necessities. Even decorated for Christmas, which was a very special touch. All the games were wonderful for lots of family fun!

Our stay at the cabin

Cabin its is excellent with a great location close to pigeon-forge. If i had something to say i would say the gameroom needs updates the pool table plays horrible,the cushion need replaced ,there was a literal magazine underneath a leg to make it somewhat level ,the air hockey feels like its about to fall down,and way out of level as well, also its very hot up there

We are so glad you loved the cabin and its location!! As we advised upon checkin, when guests leave the doors wide open to bring in luggage it takes a while for the cabin to cool back down during these hot summer days. The AC is in good working condition but it takes hours to cool a space by a few degrees once all the cool air has escaped. We hope you’ll return for another visit!

Amazing Cabin!

My kids, prarents and myself stayed at this wonderful cabin for 5 nights. It was clean and well kept. My kids absolutely loved the loft with the bunkbeds. And the view is amazing! Highly recommend!

Could been cleaner, owner was awesome about communicating and responding quickly. Wires showing on game station, fireplace did not work, and few things were broken prior to our check in. All and All it’s a nice cabin for the price.

We are sorry you didn't find your stay a 5-Star stay!! If you had any house cleaning issues we would have been happy to send someone out had it been reported. Our cleaners usually get a 5-star review. Our fireplace was broken by a past guest, and it is no longer listed as an amenity of our cabin. So, at the time of this booking, it was not an amenity that we offered.

Vacation 2022

We enjoyed the stay at this cabin. The cabin was very nice and well kept. Beds were comfortable, kitchen had plenty of cups and plates and cookware, the propane grill was nice and had all the utensils needed to grill out. We enjoyed the hot tub each night and the upstairs game room did not disappoint! The outdoor/indoor pools were nice and clean with bathrooms close. My kids have done asked if we could stay there again next time. We definitely enjoyed ourselves and hope to return again soon! 😊

Weekend Retreat

We were looking for a quick weekend getaway for our family and we found the perfect place with this cabin! It was clean and nicely decorated. The view from the back deck was just beautiful. The kitchen was well stocked with all the utensils and cookware you would ever need to make a good meal. The kids (ages 8 and 5) absolutely loved all the games upstairs. They were well entertained. And even the adults found themselves in an air hockey tournament! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Nice long weekend getaway

The cabin was perfect for the four of us. The location and proximity was undeniable. The facility manager was responsive and easy to reach. We enjoyed our stay! The only reasons for 4 stars was because the dryer was not functioning. Also know that the bunk beds have a weight limit... but the limit is unclear. There was a sign that said for kids 10 and under.

So glad you loved the location and our manager!! We strive to satisfy all of our guests. Unfortunately it’s nearly impossible to get someone out the same day for dryer repairs in our area. But we were able to get someone out the very next day and it was repaired within 24 hours of the issue being reported to us.

Loved it!!!

Ms. Catherine responded quickly and promptly. We did arrive a little early but we were able to enter the cabin. Very clean. Our overall experience was 10/10 hands down. The view was excellent!!! Especially when the sun is setting. I could go on and on. First cabin experience was awesome and our 2nd time in Tennessee. Thanks for having us!!!!

Not clean

The cabin was not very clean. There was cobwebs in the shower and food crumbs in drawers. The trash can smelled like a dead mouse. The resort pools were dirty. We won’t stay there again.

Sorry that you did not have a 5-STAR experience at our cabin. Had you reached out to us about any of these issues we would have remedied them ASAP as we strive for all guests to have a wonderful stay with us. We generally have great cleaning reviews - but some guests don't realize how quickly cobwebs can appear on the ceilings when you are staying in a cabin surrounded by woods and trees. I wish you had reported the resort pool to us so we could have reported it to them (too late now as the pool season has closed) - this is the first time we've had any complaints at all about it. Unfortunately, without the knowledge of these issues we could not fix any of them for the guest.

Mountain Retreat

We really enjoyed our time at Appalachian Dream. This was the first cabin experience for our family. Reviews are critical to us so I feel it is important to share the great things but clarify a couple as well. First, we had the best response from a host I think we have ever had. He responded while we were there in minutes which was amazing. We had one issue with the grill and he had someone there the next day to take care of it. He was always pleasant and accommodating. The loft is a really fun place to have the whole family. We have several evenings of fun playing games. It was very hot when we were there. Some of the hottest days of the year, near 100., so the loft area was warm. The air conditioner had tough time keeping up in the loft. The rest of the house was just fine. So the 15 year old ended up on an air mattress on the fist floor which worked well. We used the outdoor pool quite a bit. Really nice area and it wasn’t overly crowded on those hot days. If you are ready for the best views in the Smokies and aren’t afraid of the drive up this is your place!

This cabin was clean, conveniently located, and the host was prompt when I had questions. Minor disappointments were the starry lights in the loft weren't working, and the teepee was not usable. I did have my heart set on a gas fireplace, the electric just didn't have the ambiance. But overall I would recommend!

Great place to stay

This was the first family vacation we've taken to Pigeon Forge/Sevierville area ever. And the first vacation that we took as a family of 7. Grandma came with us to make it 8. We were comfortable in the space. There was plenty of room for us to set up our two pack n plays for the littlest guys. The view of the mountains was fantastic! The game room area kept the kids well occupied. I totally recommend!

Decent Cabin for Brief Stay

We've traveled to Sevierville for 20+ years and stayed at a numerous cabins. This one was okay. Here is the good, the bad & the ugly. Good - It was clean and convenient. The sunset view from the back porch was great. The air hockey, pool table and arcade was fun. Bad - One of the bedrooms didn't have a closet. Not terrible but don't plan on hanging anything up in that room. There was only 1 bath towel /guest and they were mediocre in quality. Other cabins have provided nicer towels and usually 2-3 extra towels because almost every woman I know needs at least 2 towels. There was only one normal size mixing bowl and one skillet. The skillet was so small and worn out that we went and bought one from the Lodge store. If you don't plan on cooking it's not a big deal. I like to cook so that was annoying. Ugly - The listing specifically said the cabin had high speed internet. My wife is an IT Professional and my job also requires decent internet. We often travel and work remotely. We selected this cabin specifically because it said High Speed Internet. The best we could get was 10 Mb with only one device connected. Sometimes, we couldn't even get our email to load. As a result what would normally take 20-30 minutes in the morning took several hours. One day we spent about 3 hrs sitting in our car in the parking lot of Paula Deen's working off our phone hotspots. I contacted the property manager and was told that they had the highest speed AT&T provides. If that's true, so be it but don't advertise High Speed when it's clearly not. If you are only looking for a place to crash in the evenings and want something more comfortable/private than a hotel then this cabin is for you. If you want to disconnect from the world or don't need to be connected, then this is also for you. Sadly, that's not us so we won't stay here again.

Lovely Cabin :)

Great cabin! It was clean, nice decor (Xmas decor too), family friendly with all supplied utensils/pots and pans. We ENJOYED our Christmas family fun at Ober, Jayrell Ranch, and Dollywood! OMG we took beautiful pictures by the Christmas tree for memories.

Hello everyone! We've always enjoyed coming to the Smoky Mountains on our vacations, and finally owning a property of our own to share with you is a dream come true! We hope to make your stay with us a safe & memorable one. We are a family of 5 currently living in south Louisiana where we work full time as a carpenter & a nurse. We stay PLENTY busy as we know your family does so we realize just how important Family & Free Time are. So we will be sure that your stay with us is safe, fun, and full of MEMORIES!

“ Appalachian Dream” is located in the desirable Bear Creek Crossing resort only 7 minutes from downtown Pigeon Forge. This private community offers three gated entrances, an Outdoor & Heated Indoor community pool, a FREE putt putt golf course and a wedding venue for up to 75 guests.
The cabin features a large living area that has been recently updated (Aug 2021) with new granite countertops, all new plumbing fixtures, NEW Decor & new couches, along with wood cathedral ceiling with stone fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, two master suites both located on bottom floor with king beds and full bathrooms, jacuzzi tub, all hardwood floors, large Smart TVs in all bedrooms and living areas, an upstairs loft with a NEW twin kids FUN Bunk bed & a queen sleeper sofa, a dedicated work space with office chair & small work light perfect for lab top, or online teaching/school, a full sized pool table, air hockey, arcade games & a checkers table.
The outdoor area has a large porch with a propane grill, seating area, and private hot tub with a Mountain View.
This cabin is very easily accessible with a car. The resort has maintained paved roads for easy access.
This property has everything you need to be able to relax and enjoy the Great Smoky Mountains!
Only a few minutes from Dollywood & all the attractions that downtown Pigeon Forge has to offer. Also only a short drive down the strip to Gatlinburg and the Great Smoky Mountain National Park.

You will be right in the heart of all the action that Pigeon Forge has to offer & only 20 minutes from Gatlinburg & GSMNP. Be sure to allow time for shopping, hiking, sight seeing GSMNP, rafting, Ripley's Aquarium, Dollywood, Soaky Mountain Waterpark, horseback ridding, fly fishing & famous Moonshine tasting in your schedule. There's so much to do & enjoy!
