This meticulously designed sanctuary, managed by Moonrise Vacation Properties, LLC, is nestled on nearly five acres of secluded land in Eastern Tennessee. Adjacent to its counterpart, Howlin' at the Moon, this retreat offers a peaceful atmosphere with two bedrooms, private bathrooms, and a cozy loft featuring a queen-sized bed. Unwind in the spacious pool complete with jets and a hot tub, or indulge in various entertainment options, including a TV, air hockey, and an arcade game with over 3000 games.

Immerse yourself in the tranquility and natural beauty of the surroundings while enjoying the covered decks on both the main level and basement, where you can marvel at breathtaking hillside views. Barkin' at the Moon warmly welcomes dogs for $35 per dog per night, ensuring a pet-friendly getaway. Please note that cats are not allowed due to the owner's allergies.

During the winter season, a 4-wheel drive vehicle is necessary to access the property, although the steep driveway is easily manageable. Each cabin offers parking space for two vehicles, with extra parking available at the bottom of the driveway. Plan your unforgettable retreat in the Smoky Mountains at Barkin' at the Moon and immerse yourself in the enchantment of this extraordinary cabin rental nestled in the heart of the mountains.

NOTE: Government ID required to be sent when rental agreement is signed for booking to be accepted. Primary renter must be age 25 or older, and must remain on site for the reservation term.

We were overall impressed with our stay! A few minor things we noticed while there was the upstairs smelt like dog and the main level had quite a bit of dog hair on the floors. Overall we had a great stay!

Family Vacation

Beautiful Cabin

This cabin has lots of amenities, even for the dogs. It is secluded with woods all around yet still close to Pigeon Forge. We enjoyed having the indoor pool and hot tub. The air hockey table and arcade games were lots of fun, too. The cabin was very clean and we would stay here again.

Barking at the Moon

Impressive cabin that was very clean. Owners were awesome and everything was easy including check in. Kids loved the indoor pool and game room. Definitely a 5 star cabin

Weekend Getaway

We had a great stay for a long weekend. The kids loved the pool and the games and our dog loved all the new smells and watching the small animals in the woods from the porch. Location is good - close enough to the fun and also somewhat secluded. Little details were great. Snack basket, good quality shampoo/condition, and plenty of dishwater. Hosts were very responsive and easy to communicate with. Thanks for a great stay!

Cabin living close to everything

Our family loved the cabin! Hidden in the mountains so close to everything in Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and Sevierville. Kids loved the indoor pool and we all loved the outdoor decks. Comfortable beds, super clean and very well appointed!

Great cabin for our week stay!

This was a great cabin for my family and I to stay for the week! Beautiful inside and out. Very cozy, clean, and well maintained. The location was perfect, secluded on a quiet back road, but still only 10-15 minutes away from Pigeon Forge. Enough space for 4 adults and 4 kids, and we were able to bring our dog which was great! Our kids loved the indoor pool and hot tub. The driveway was a little steep but after going up and down a couple times we got used to it. I would definitely recommend this cabin and would stay here again!!

Awesome place to stay!

Great location. Close enough to do anything you want but quiet and private space to be with nature. Jamie was great!! We had a few questions once we got there and she was very responsive, even reaching out late at night to make sure we had everything we needed.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

It was love at first sight with these cabins! Traveling with a multi-generational crew the layout of these cabins allows for us to travel together and have space privacy for each family. We love the fact that these cabins are on nearly 5 acres, with plenty to explore, and can be rented together or separately.
These cabins hold sentimental value in that the logs that are in this cabin came from the sawmill that my grandfather and uncle ran when Jaime was a child. Once we learned this fact, we knew it was meant to be!
