The mansion is the perfect place to enjoy life's important moments with family and friends. Built in the late 1800s originally as a private residence, the house has been meticulously restored and renovated to maintain its historic charm. It sits on a beautifully landscaped 2.2 acres with nearly year-round flowers and trees. There is a massive covered front porch. The house is in a safe neighborhood with walkable food markets, public transportation, and nearby restaurants.

The house has two floors. When you first walk in, you are in the expansive entryway. The first floor has a large living room, billiards room, and adjacent sitting room, dining room (sits up to 12 guests), two 1/2 bathrooms, a renovated kitchen with breakfast nook and separate sitting room, and a gym with sauna, treadmill and elliptical.

A large, sweeping staircase with 2 story stained glass window brings you to the second floor with 6 spacious bedrooms, each with their own attached full bathroom. The house sleeps 14 people in the 4 CA king beds, 3 queen beds, and 1 double bed. The house can accommodate 2 additional people on a queen futon bed and additional futon mattress and air mattresses. Maximum number of overnight guests is 16 persons.

The outside of the house has a wrap around porch, walking path to view the landscaped grounds with year-round blooming flowers, and a private courtyard with a working pond that emits a soothing waterfall. Friendly fish and lotus flowers live in the pond. The courtyard has a BBQ and two outdoor dining tables and chairs for 8 as well as some comfortable lounging couches..

Please note that the property has 3 buildings. The Mansion rental has an apt on the third floor the owner uses when renting the Mansion and 3 other apts in the rear of the 10,000 square foot building. The other buildings also house full-time apartment tenants. The apartments have their own driveway, parking and entrances that are not shared with the Mansion.

The Mansion rental is for your exclusive use. FYI, when not rented, the house is lived in full-time by the owner.

There is parking in the front driveway available for approximately 6-8 guest vehicles as well as free parking on the street in front of the house. The house is fully wheel chair accessible with an elevator when requested. This is a non-smoking and no pets property. Maximum number of overnight guests is 16 persons. Sheets and towels are provided.

The Mansion is available for event rental for an extra fee and hundreds of weddings, birthdays, murder mystery parties, holidays, movie and commercial filming, and other gatherings have been successfuly held here.
