Island colony stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This renter was an excellent choice for us! Right size for 3people. Enjoyed the pool and used the store which was well stocked. It was within walking distance to bus stop, beach and shopping. I been to Waikīkī many times and this condo had the best lanai! Could see mountains and ocean. The only thing I thought it could use was a grab bar in bathroom over tub! I will definitely stay there again if I come back

That lanai view of the mountains and ocean is really hard to beat. So glad it stood out even after many Waikiki trips! Great call on the grab bar in the bathroom. We're passing that suggestion along to our maintenance team to look into. Hope to see you back on that lanai soon! Mahalo for choosing Ali'i Beach Rentals!

This was such an amazing location to enjoy the night life with a short walk to the beaches! 10/10 would stay here again. The balcony is so peaceful with the faint sounds of traffic at night time. The sunrise coming over the mountains every morning is the cherry on top!

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Good position, nice little walk to the beach. Plenty of coffee shops and food available closeby. Had its own Mini-mart, well stocked and convenient on the 6th floor.Good laundry, excellent pool and spa (very clean every day)- didn't try the sauna or small gym areas. Room was basic but clean and adequete eating and cooking facilities. Balcony sliding door needs some maintenance. Plenty of linen, and beach stuff to use. The lifts ran very well for the 43 floors it had to service. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Great Views And Some Design Flaws

I enjoyed my stay—especially the stunning views and great location, which were the highlight of the space. However, the patio lounge furniture was uncomfortable, which made it hard to fully enjoy the outdoor area. Also, the microwave placement above the refrigerator was awkward and not very user-friendly. Overall, a lovely spot with a few practical drawbacks.

Affordable Waikiki Location

The room was a lot smaller than it appears to be in the photo but it was clean and comfortable (we were in Hawaii and don't spend much time in the room other than to sleep). The property is dated but the 6th floor with the pool, jacuzzi, and bbq area is incredible. My granddaughter called it the "fun floor." Parking is expensive but convenient. The AC was wonderful. If you're looking for luxury, this is not your place. If you need a place to unwind in the evening before sleeping, it will work perfectly for you.

Recent stay at Honolulu

The property location is really good, you can easily walk to the shopping areas and the beach. The balcony view was excellent. Straightforward checkout process. However a few things were not up to mark with the price that we paid: - the mattresses are too old and saggy - the closet was filled with vaccum cleaner and other cleaning tools, and left no room for us to put our bags - air condition unit was very noisy - the owner continuously tries to have customers download his own app for communication. All communication should be done through the vrbo app

Bathroom needs updatng

Good location and setup. Beds were very comfortable although pillows were very high and hard. Check in process was very easy and the security is great. The kitchen set up looked good but we didnt really use it. The only negative is the bathroom. It needs a good cleaning, a paint job and some updating. While we were there they were doing renovations and it was sometimes noisy and a little difficult to maneuver through the hallways.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Based on my expectations since i was aware of the building being older, we were pleased with the room and overall experience. From the simplicity of first booking the room through check in and during the stay we had no problems. The building has a little store and was very convenient. The building is easy walking distance to food, restaurants, entertainment and the beach. We always saw maintenance and cleaning people cleaning the public areas around the pool and barbecue area. Great Spot

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit was just as described in the photos. It was very clean, well stocked with towels and beach towels. Starter supplies of tissue, garbage bags, dish soap and shampoos. A large lanai overlooking the pool and views of both the canal and the ocean. There was construction which impacted the use of the lanai however I was compensated for this change. I would recommend this unit to anyone who would like to spend time at the Island Colony.

Roomy and Comfortable

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had many visits to Hawaii and this is our 2nd stay in this building. The room is just as described, 2 comfortable beds, spacious lanai, small kitchen appliances such as toaster, rice cooker and microwave came in handy. We were mindful of our trash and leftover and so we had no problem with roaches. The restroom does need a little update (cosmetic) but we had no problem using it. Overall, we love this building and access to Waikiki and bus stops is so easy. Can't wait to come back!

Central Waikiki Vacation Rental

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property is as pictured. The location is excellent. The building is old and it shows somewhat. This unit is clean but it is tired. The bathroom in particular needs an overhaul. The balcony, view, pool, hot tub and bbq area is what makes this a good place to stay as it's central to everything. The only real downside is that owners may smoke in their units and it can be invasive, particularly considering the choice of smoke. Would be nice if it was a non-smoking building. I will stay there again!

Thank you for sharing your valuable feedback. We appreciate your positive comments about the property's location, balcony, view, and amenities like the pool, hot tub, and BBQ area. We also acknowledge your observations regarding the age of the building and the need for updates, especially in the bathroom. Your feedback is important to us, and we'll take it into consideration as we plan for improvements. Regarding the issue of smoking, smoking is not allowed and should be brought to the buildings security's attention. We're glad to hear that, despite the noted areas for improvement, you would stay with us again. If you do decide to return, we'll ensure a more enjoyable and updated experience. Mahalo for choosing Ali'i Beach Rentals, and we look forward to hosting you again in the future.
