A 3 BR, 1BA, 3 level recently renovated cabin in Black Bear Resort. Easy access to ski resorts and Davis. Pretty outlook over a stream and down a small valley through trees. Room for 7, including large dining area.



I am available by call or text when needed



Black Bear Resort is a beautiful four season resort in the Canaan Valley with fantastic views across the valley to Cabin Mountain Range, Bald Knob, Weiss Knob, Dolly Sods, Timberline Mountain, White Grass and Canaan Valley State Park. walking trail, tennis, mini-golf, volleyball, tot lot.



AWD recommended in winter. No public transportation. Many great hikes and mountain bike trails.

Amazing location in the black bear resort. We enjoyed being surrounded by trees in a fairly private location and enjoyed sitting on the patio. The resort has a beautiful view of the mountains and nature preserve. The cabin had everything we needed, pleasantly surprised to have good WiFi, and was comfortable after long days hiking. Thank you to our host and look forward to staying again soon.

A nice, cozy cabin located in a quiet area surroundes by trees. The supplies provided met our expectations, the Queen bed was comfortable, and the shower was spacious! Kids loved the spiral staircase and bunk bed options.Convenient to Blackwater Falls State Park and Davis, WV.

Great location for a fun region.

Comfortable rooms and beds. Nice kitchen set-up, well stocked with spices, utensils, dishes, etc... Convenient locations for Dolly Sods region and beyond. HVAC works, as do most windows, and very comfortable, especially for July.

This cabin lives up to the description and is quite cozy. The location was perfect, the cabin clean, the beds comfortable and the kitchen well-equipped. Cameron is an excellent communicator. He checked in early in our stay and provided his cell phone number. He was also responsive when we needed something.

FANTASTIC cabin! Great location! Very clean! The kitchen had almost everything you would possibly need! The beds were extremely comfortable! The Host was very responsive to messages in a timely manner. We would absolutely stay here again if we're in this area in the future!

The house is well located. Close to ski area. Trails and Blackwater Falls park. The supermarket and restaurants are near. The property is in a nice location, with beautiful views, pool and mini golf. Overall it was a pleasant stay. Ideal for a family of 4.

The cabin wasn’t cleaned properly, dirty dishes, fire place smoked up the untied cabin, and wood was just dumped and not stacked

Wow... I refunded the cleaning fee and one night. We sometimes make mistakes, but we always leave our customers satisfied. Your emails indicated you were very happy with that. Addressing your concerns: sometimes we miss some little things. But our commitment is to do our best. Hence refunding the cleaning The fireplace works fine if you follow instructions. It is apparent that you did not open the flue. The wood was only left there a day before you arrived. Sometimes it takes a few days to stack. Thank you for staying with us.

Cabin stay was great! It had everything we needed in the kitchen. The bathroom was nice. It was very clean and well kept. We grilled both nights we stayed! :) saw some wildlife around the cabin. Only about 10-13 mins from black water falls. We also visited Elakala falls as well. I absolutely loved the little shop and save grocery store (which is the only grocery option) but they had great items between the meat and produce section. My only complaint is the main bed wasn’t very comfortable, we slept on the pull out the second night. Other than that, great stay!! Great area.

Great location

Cute cabin that has everything you need and an excellent location. The deck is huge with plenty of seating and the resort area is great to walk around with beautiful views.

Great little cabin near Canaan and Timberline Mountains. Family of 4 stayed for two nights. Kitchen had everything we needed for basic food prep. Fire was amazing after a day on the slopes. Communication with host was solid and directions were really good.

Great canin

This is a great little cabin. It isn’t far from Blackwater Falls or Canaan Valley. It was clean and communication with property manager was great. We would definitely stay here again.

Cabin was very cute! Clean, comfortable and very well equipped- beautiful views of the changing fall leaves/ but I imagine the wooded views are great year round! Host was attentive/responsive- would absolutely stay there again and recommend to others looking for a Canaan Valley getaway. Convenient location between Davis and ski resorts- easy access to both places. We enjoyed hiking and time with family!

The cabin was perfect for our family trip. It was clean and updated. Kitchen had everything we needed and beds were comfy. The owner was awesome. Gave us information about local restaurants and places. They reached out to make sure we had there information in case we needed anything.

A breath of fresh air

The cabin was cozy and the area was quiet during the week and early spring. We enjoyed walking in the resort but wished there had been a pool to enjoy. The nearby towns are great and have special little shops.

The pool is only open in summer and I think that is obvious in the listing.
