Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: As usual the condo was very clean and friendly. however there were several items that are not up to par, the toaster is not useful, most of the time it did not toast items very well. also, the TV in the master bedroom generated a lot of heat coming from the screen, we had to turn it off to feel safe.

Terrific base house!

Great house near the base of Timberline Mountain. Quiet, very clean and cozy environment. Been going to this area for several years to ski and this was one of the best spots we have stayed.

Best of Canaan was incredibly responsive every step of the process. They went above and beyond to help when our car got stuck in the snow. The house was clean, cozy, and spacious. The neighborhood was so quiet you would have no idea there were houses full of people. The area is convenient to both Canaan and Timberline, making our fun outings easy even in the snow. We enjoyed our stay immensely and plan to return. Note about this particular house: please be aware the upstairs is a furnished loft and is not safe for young children. We kept our child with us at all times and advise all guests do the same.

Wonderful stay at CR Mountain home!

We can't say enough about this lovely home. Very clean, spacious, comfortable beds, great showers, cozy decor, good location for hiking the nearby trails. We LOVED the family room with it's gas fireplace, comfy rockers, and great views. Also enjoyed the hot tub (appreciated the beach towels provided) and fire pit (bring your own wood). The Mountain Owl Market down the road is a great stop for grabbing lunch/coffee. Can't go wrong renting this home. Our family looks forward to returning.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We've been coming to the Valley with family for 35 years and just had another great time. With the Valley's expansion, there are so many different things to do, places to eat and places to explore. Lots of activities, along with relaxation for all members of the family from 80 years old to three years old!! An added plus is the house is always immaculate. Already looking forward to coming down next year.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We always have a great time in Canaan and C R Mountain Home was wonderful. It was clean and very quiet. Only suggestion I have is that there needs to be a guide on how to use the AC unit. We could not figure it out, but fortunately it did not get too hot, so we were ok. Last year when we stayed at Paradise Falls, we had the same experience. Instructions would be helpful. Thank you!
