This beautiful mountain home is an easy, half-mile walk to downtown Estes Park, steps away from a free trolley stop, and less than a 10 minute drive to Rocky Mountain National Park! With two bedrooms and two bathrooms, with a sofa sleeper. Sitting across from the Big Thompson River with 360 degree mountain views. Enjoy preparing home-cooked meals in the well-equipped kitchen or on the gas grill on the front deck. The living room has plenty of natural light and lots of windows to take in the serene views. Another large deck provides a quiet space to gather for meals or to relax after a day of outdoor activities. Newly installed stone patio and gas firepit. Spend your evenings under the stars and the warm glow of the firepit.

This home has a main level master queen bedroom and a full bathroom. The Livingroom offers a sofa sleeper. Downstairs is a queen bedroom, a multi purpose room with TV, Games, books and work space, a bathroom with a walk-in shower, and a laundry room. There is a pack-n-play available for those traveling with a baby.

You must be 25 years or older to rent this property. Maximum occupancy at all times is 6 guests and 2 vehicles, strictly enforced. No Pets, No Smoking. The person renting/name on the account must be present.

This home is fully stocked with bed linens, towels, extra blankets, soaps and shampoo. The kitchen has pots, pans and dishes plus silverware. A standard coffee maker, toaster, blender, crock pot too. A washer and dryer with laundry pods to use.

This home is managed by Rocky Mountains Property Services, a family owned and operated business local to Estes Park.

Rocky Mountain National Park will implement another pilot temporary timed entry permit reservation system from May 22 through October 19, 2026. If you plan on visiting Rocky Mountain National Park during your stay please visit their website for details about reservations.

We had a wonderful stay at this VRBO! Clean & wonderful location to RMNP or to walk down town. Very close to bus route to downtown if you prefer that. We enjoyed seeing & hearing the elk right from the deck!

For two people, ok maybe. We are 71 and 80 years old and brought our 20 yr old granddaughter. Lower level was like a basement that had a door going outside with windows and no curtains. She was afraid to stay on the lower level so my husband and I did and gave her the room upstairs which was extremely warm day and evening. No AC to use. She opened her windows in the upper level bedroom for air, but when my husband saw a ladder laying directly below that window he had her kept it closed and locked. Our stay lower level meant us going up and down the stairs. At our age it wasn’t enjoyable. The parking was definitely not good either. Narrow gravel rode and driveway. Will definitely do more research next time. It was clean and we left it that way. Just not a comfortable stay. The person I communicated with was very nice.

TO THOSE CONSIDERING RENTING OUR HOME, THIS REVIEW IS AN ANOMALY. Your feedback is appreciated, however your rating seems to reflect that you were misled. The home is as advertised, and the photos of the house, driveway, and multiple parking areas are an accurate representation which showed you exactly what to expect. If you were concerned about amenities or accessibility, we wish you would have asked at the time of booking, as maybe this wasn't the best choice for your family. We are licensed to accommodate six people, and the two bedrooms you referenced have adequate light and window coverings. The downstairs rec room windows and door window to the back patio (door has three locks) do not have window coverings, but this is not unusual in vacation homes, and no other guests have raised this concern. Most Estes Park homes do not have air conditioning, and it was not shown in our list of amenities. We do have oscillating fans for the occasional warmer times, as well as a cooling tower where one can set the temperature level. Open windows on the top floor also provide plenty of breeze. We do store the ladder on the hill one story below the top floor bedroom window, but due to the grade of the hill, it would be nearly impossible for someone to set the ladder and attempt to access the bedroom window. We wish you would have based your rating on how the home/property compared to how it was listed instead of how it didn't meet your specific needs. It is obvious that our home was not the best fit for your family, which we could have helped you determine if only you had asked questions during the booking process. We do hope that you'll return to Estes Park and find a property that is better suited for you. Thanks, Denise and Roger

Great place close to everything

We loved our stay. The cabin was very well equipped for cooking. Also close enough to town to walk or take the trolley which has a stop very close by. We enjoyed coffee on the deck looking at Longs peak. Great vacation. Good communication with the owner Renee.

Great Location!

The location was very convenient and the house was as described. The trolley picks up right by the location, we used this daily during our stay! We would stay here again when visiting!

Lovely stay

We loved our stay! The property was just as it is listed- great location to town and the RMNP. We had mule deer visit us during the morning and evening hours - an added bonus.

Charming cottage close to town

Renee’s cottage is updated, warm, and cozy! The property was clean and well stocked for our stay. It’s close enough to downtown Estes Park that you can easily walk to shops and restaurants. We loved our stay, and may even visit again soon!

This was in a perfect location in Estes park. We will book again and are planning on booking again. Love the trolley right below hill to go downtown. Renee was awesome to work with. Wonderful stay in Estes Park

We very much enjoyed our stay. Property is well maintained and equipped with many of the comforts of home. Excellent location. A huge Elk Bull roams the neighborhood and we enjoyed observing him from a safe distance.

Family vacation

The cabin was a little cozy for us, but the kitchen is well equipped, the location is on the walkway and trolley line right on the edge of the downtown area, and is still in quiet neighborhood with great views. In a town with a lot of options this one checks many boxes for an excellent vacation spot.

Great location to Rocky Mountain National Park

This house was perfect for our family of four visiting Estes and Rocky Mountain National Park. It had everything we needed and we enjoyed the fire pit at night. The location is great, close to downtown and to the park. We saw mule deer most days which the kids loved.
