The fishing is great! Trails are close by. Enjoy summer in the Northwoods!

Located in the heart of one of the largest trail systems in the US. Five miles from the town of Cable. Close to 3 Birkie trailheads: OO, Boedecker and Birkie Ridge. This cabin is located on a snowmobile/ATV route. Ski and bike tuning facilities provided in the sports room off the screened in porch. Enjoy the view of Pacwawong Springs (from the cabin or dock)- a waterfowl migration area with a pair of Trumpeter Swans here most of the year. The screened in porch is a great place to eat or read and not deal with bugs. There is a gas firepit and a large deck.

The cabin was wonderful. Clean and very well stocked. So nice to have the canoe to use! Also the firetable was an added bonus.

Excellent cabin for two, as it is small. The bathroom is quite cozy. Everything one could want for a stay is supplied. Perfect dock for viewing wildlife!

Beautiful cabin! Will say for bigger people bathroom is small. Met Le and had a great conversation. Caught fish off the dock! Super easy to get to! Definitely recommend!

Cabin was perfect, Northwood's rustic! Useful notes throughout to navigate all lights and heat. Kitchen was well stocked and enjoyed cooking in it. Plenty of extra bedding, pillows and blankets. Host was gracious & accommodating. Will be back for sure!

Great stay in the Northwoods!

Loved the cute and cozy cabin! Beautiful sunrises over the lake/pond and nice warming up in front of the gas stove after a cold ski!

The kitchen was super tiny with not a lot of counter space for food. But everything else was excellent. Beds were all super comfy, you had everything we needed in utensils and space. I would highly recommend to anyone. Thank you SO MUCH. We got to have a great weekend. Thank you for sharing your space with us.

We retired from our respective careers: Le as a nurse practitioner in neurology and Terry from municipal park and grounds maintenance. We decided to move farther north in Wisconsin to start a vacation rental business. We both love hosting. The ample opportunity for multiple outdoor summer and winter sports keeps us loving the area.

The log cabin has served as the perfect area for respite from daily life or the place to have easy access to multiple trail heads. Our guests have loved the ability to disconnect.

Peaceful-no motor boats on the lake. Gigantic white and red pine trees. Town is just 5 miles away if you need groceries or other basics.
