We had a wonderful stay at the Victor Cottage! So quiet and peaceful. Relaxing to sit on the deck. Everything was clean, plenty of amenities, and not having to pack linens, towels and soaps was so nice! It was fun walking to Beach Plum Farm and Rea’s! Just a short drive to the beach and Washington Street Mall. Lisa was a gracious host!

The Victor Cottage was clean and provided everything that we needed for our Cape May vacation stay. It was close to many restaurants and shops. Lisa Marie was an excellent host and very responsive!

The most convenient rental property we’ve stayed in. It was a pleasure not to have to worry about bringing linens, making up/tearing down all the beds, and packing towels as well. With children, this was a God send and made for a more relaxed parent. Check-in and check-out was a breeze. The host was very responsive and so accommodating. Best VRBO stay. 5 stars.

My family with young adult children had a lovely summer vacation at Victor Cottage! The cottage was clean, private, nicely decorated, and had all of the amenities we needed for our stay. It was in a great location in West Cape May, near lots of things to do. Lisa was a great host, very responsive to all of our questions and offered helpful suggestions for places to go. We enjoyed visiting nearby Beach Plum Farm for breakfast in the gardens and shopping in their market as well as nearby Willow Creek Winery for drinks and apps. The Fish House on Sunset Beach was amazing, with beautiful views (we played mini golf while waiting for our table). We loved Cape May Beach, took a fun boat ride from South Jersey Marina on the Tiny Cruise Line, and enjoyed cocktails and apps on the Schooner American at the Lobster House. Awesome trip!

Everything that you read on this listing is accurate! We had an amazing stay and the host was so gracious at our requests. She even left a bottle of Prosecco since she knew we were celebrating and 30th and 50th birthday. We sat on the deck with the chiminea burning on Saturday afternoon and relaxed and talked for hours. The weekend was perfect!

Lisa was incredibly welcoming. We were originally supposed to go on this trip in the fall, but a nor'easter shut down the east coast. She was kind enough to let us rebook in January. It was a great winter getaway and we hope we can come back next September.

The 4 of us loved the space. The kitchen and dining room met all our needs. The bedrooms were pleasant and the host was courteous and available to answer any questions. We loved how close we were to the conservation areas and had a great time birding.

Cape May Bachelorette 2025 Trip

Very cute place to stay. Lisa was amazing at answering every question and even offered to mail clothing home to us that was left by accident at the property. Everything about this place was amazing.

Relaxing peaceful stay

The house was very comfortable for our family of 4. It had everything we needed and was in walking distance to the Beach Plum Farm where we had a great breakfast while overlooking the beautiful gardens.

Great Cape May retreat

Wonderful property located in a quiet neighborhood on the southern side of Cape May. House worked great for a family of four and was well appointed for cooking, laundry, etc. The location was really convenient for visiting the many things to do in the area.

Nice house in a quiet neighborhood!

We had a nice time exploring Cape May, eating local seafood at a number of Cape May restaurants and just relaxing.

This was our second time staying at the Victor cottage and the hosts were fabulously accommodating for us. The cottage so perfect for us, located so close to the nature preserve and Beach Plum Farm and the Winery. One morning we had a rather close up view of a hawk, gliding at treetop level above the property. It's very comfy and everything worked great for us. I know we'll be back

Excellent place to stay. I would explain how the door lock operates. You punch in the PIN number to open the door, but all you have to do to lock it when you leave is hit the lock picture up top. I wish I had known that! Thank You!

Cute stay in Cape May

We loved staying at this house for a beautiful September weekend. The house is exactly as the pictures depicted, clean and great space for our family. The best part was the deck, quiet and secluded. We walked to Beach Plum Farms, rented bikes, and enjoyed the quiet neighborhood. Would stay here again!

Wonderful cottage

Great location, clean, quiet, walking distance close to everything you'd want to see, great communication from host Lisa Marie. This was our first visit to Cape May and we loved the town. The house was comfortable and spacious for our family of four needs. Highly recommend staying at this location!

Clean and comfortable

In town for work. Host was great to communicate with and very accommodating. Older home, but nicely maintained and comfortable. Would book again for sure.

I live on Cape May Island all year round and I am still always in awe of its incredible beauty all year long.

The Primary Bedroom is an oasis with its own private deck accessible through glass doors and direct access to outside shower. There is also a private sitting area inside and an incredible ensuite full bath with spa shower for two. The additional bedrooms have loft full sized beds with three small windows that feels like the bed is literally among the trees. All bedrooms have their own flat screen smart television and lots of closet space. The living room is bright and airy and cozy and warm in fall and winter with its fireplace, reading nooks and oversized smart television. The kitchen is a cook's dream with a large refrigerator and a small for beverages, lots of counter space and spacious table and dining area. Add on a sunroom and laundry area and the perfect getaway awaits you!
