Wake up to a beautiful sunrise! Wind down with a stunning sunset as you listen to the water lap against the rocky shore line! Catch fish from your back deck! All of this and more is possible at Sea Glass Cottage. Located in the quiet coastal community of Alligator Point, Sea Glass Cottage sits on Alligator Harbor and is an easy 2/10 mile walk to public beach access and the beautiful Gulf of Mexico. A Public boat ramp and a marina are only a mile away. Come explore the Forgotten Coast and find your new favorite retreat. Three spacious bedrooms and oversized bathrooms provide plenty of room to relax, unplug and unwind. The open concept kitchen, living room and dining area are well appointed with high end finishes but maintain the Old Florida comfort and charm.

Wonderful Stay

Alligator Point

The house was very nice and had all the little things you needed. The deck on the back porch was awesome. My only complaint was the beds were uncomfortable to me.

I'm glad you enjoyed your vacation and the new expanded deck. I was sorry to hear you didn't find the bed comfortable, I've been there many times since we purchased them 2 years and I went down immediately after your review to check and make sure the beds were still as comfortable as we have been told by other guest and couldn't find an issue. Perhaps just a personal preference in mattress firmness was the issue. We are always striving to improve the property and our guests' experience and welcome any more detail or feedback. Awesome sunrises and sunsets from the deck

Cute little house, very comfortable for our family of 6. We had amazing sunsets and fishing off the back deck, space to play a little and the beach was a short walk away. Thank you, Josh!

Great week!

We really enjoyed our stay! The house was exactly as described. We had no issues. We really enjoyed the deck space. It had great furniture and was enjoyable at all times of the day! Beds were very comfortable and house was very well stocked. Josh is a great host!

Alligator Point House

We had a great stay. The house was clean and updated. We loved the deck for fishing. We also walked across the road to the beach with permission from the neighbors. The owner (Josh) owns several homes in this area and all the people we talked to staying in the other homes praised him. We had no issues and would definitely stay here again. Very slow paced, family friendly area.

This was an absolutely phenomenal experience in vacationing. Josh is very good at communication and all around good company. In my personal opinion, this property trumps any beach house youll find. Walk out the back door and you're standing 6 feet above the water with a spectacular view of the bay. Walk across the street and you have a beautiful beach to enjoy. In all aspects of the phrase, you get the best of both worlds. We will absolutely be back as soon as possible and would love to purchase this property if the opportunity presented itself

Perfect Getaway!!

This house worked so well for my family. I was at the beach everyday while my husband stayed on the deck catching crab and all kinds of fish. The owner was very friendly and even gave us a shorter walk to the beach since one of his houses was vacant. We did walk to the access point the last day and it wasn’t bad at all! It was a paved street! (Not all of the places we have stayed had that luxury). Fully loaded kitchen and had the basic condiments. Not the best kid friendly house for a 3 and 2 year old but I just moved the little items around. Overall we loved the house and the location! We will be back!

Will rent again

Well, Hurricane Ian had other plans so I called Josh to see if I could cancel and he was cool about it. I had my refund back in no time. And this was on check in day. So, I can’t technically say whether I liked the place or not because I didn’t make it, but I sure will be returning one day soon on account of the solid property owner.

The house was very nicely decorated and put together. Plenty of towels and linens. Great location on Alligator Point. Loved being on the bay side with great sunset views.

Loved the Rental and Area!

Cute clean comfortable rental that could not be closer to the water, because it is literally on the water facing the bay! Owner was easy to reach for any issues. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and just watching the water, birds, boats, and fish jump! The beach access was within walking distance and the beach was not crowded and quiet! A huge plus for us! We loved that quaint Alligator Point is slow living with not much going on. You could ride a bike or walk easily down the main road because there is little traffic. The little outdoor Tiki Hut is the only bar/restaurant and is just down the road and has a nice atmosphere and live music on the weekends. We also loved exploring the nearby State Park, Bald Point. We would definitely come back!

House was impressively tidy and clean. Couldn’t ask for better.

Fishing off the deck was nothing short of fantastic. Very short walk to the beach for stunning views and wonderful atmosphere. Definitely would stay again upon visiting the area.

Sea Glass Cottage was an excellent experience for our family of 4. We enjoyed close access to the beach and the deck over the bay was a great place to relax and fish. The interior is very clean and has been recently updated with comfortable furniture, new appliances, kitchen needs, linens, etc. The owners were very accommodating and available. We had no issues with the property but I am confident they would have corrected anything we needed quickly. We look forward to staying here again!

Relaxing

This house is on the bay which turned out to be great because it was quite windy the week we were there. We rode our bikes everyday on the beach then relaxed on the back deck over the water out of the wind. The house is small but with its open concept, plenty big enough for 4 adults. This house has everything we needed for a great vacation. Josh was available for questions when needed.

AP a Special Place

My 14 year old would call this past week his “Outer Banks spring break.” This house was situated perfectly between the Tiki Hut and our property where our boat was on Carousel. Everything inside the house was perfectly curated and the back deck was just what this elementary school principal needed, relaxation with a gentle sea breeze and sunshine. There was plenty of room for us to park and for our golf cart (which we trailered down). If our build takes too long, we definitely will be back to stay in this adorable cottage. AP is a special place and this home is everything that you’d expect in a beach cottage.
