You're coming to Alaska to enjoy the beautiful wilderness and wildlife. With just a short hike into the Alaska woods, you can experience that peaceful seclusion that you were dreaming of. Camp Seclusion is just 17 miles north of Healy and 30 miles north of Denali National Park.

This 16 foot camper has been completely renovated, with a small addition added to make room for a hot shower with on demand water heater.

Camper has a full size bed with a divider curtain for privacy. There is also a small table that can make out into a single size bed (30" x 74"). All bedding is provided.

This off grid camper operates on solar. Kitchenette has a two burner gas cook-top but no microwave or toaster because of the solar operation. You'll also find a french press and Alaska brewed coffee along with other kitchen basics: dishes, pans, utensils, oil, salt and pepper.

Camper does not have an indoor toilet, but an outhouse.

The camper is tucked away in the Alaska woods to give you that authentic Alaska wilderness experience and help you get away from the crowds.

Access to the camper is by a gravel foot trail about 400 feet from parking. It may appear that you can drive it, but some have tried and found themselves stuck. The nearest tow truck is 50 miles from us.

We are in Africa from October until the end of April. VRBO sometimes blocks me from there. I will make every effort to respond to messages but if you do not get a responses, that is why

We enjoyed a wonderful 3 day stay at “Cabin Seclusion”…this is a beautiful and cozy place, far away from distractions and very peaceful. The camper is beautifully decorated, has a well supplied kitchen area and the shower is great…really appreciated it after spending our days hiking in Denali. Hosts are easy to communicate with and respond quickly. I would definitely stay here again! Thank you

Secluded wonderland!

We came to visit our daughter employed for the summer and this was a perfect getaway for my wife and I. Would stay here again anytime. Alaska has so much to offer and see, this was a perfect place to have to come back to for freshen up, sleep, and feel comfortable and relax. Seen a few outhouses in my time, and this one is the best one I’ve used. Highly recommend this property.

My partner and I stayed at Camp Seclusion for two nights in July and had a great experience. Stacey and Denver have done a beautiful job with their camper. The added shower space was much appreciated at the end of a long day of exploring Denali NP. The screened-in porch was perfect. The mosquitoes were bad everywhere we went, but the netting on the porch was so well done, it kept them out. It was the first time the whole trip that we could sit outside and enjoy the sounds of the wind in the trees without worrying about getting eaten up alive or having to douse ourselves in DEET. The camper was pristine and the outhouse was easily the nicest and cleanest one I’ve ever seen. Clearly a lot of love, work, pride, and care goes into their place. Communication was great. Instructions on how to get there arrived well before we left, which was appreciated (my cell did not have service for a lot of the trip). It’s not the closest to the park (took us about 35 minutes from the visitors center to get there) but the shower and peaceful setting was worth it. If we ever make it back to the area, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Thank you so much, Denver and Stacey!

Don’t judge a book by its cover. This little camper is equipped with the most comfortable bed and cozy eating area. Even has a screen porch! Instructions are well communicated.

Denali Getaway

Very lovely upgraded camper. Enjoyed the added on porch with chairs and the shower. Beautiful setting in the Alaskan wilderness. Easy to check in and out. Good directions and communication from hosts. Very felt cozy and personal. We loved it for our brief two night stay while visiting Denali NP. Would visit again!

Nice Place, wash your clothes beforehand

Stay was as advertised and a nice place. It is a great set-up. Owner did charge us a cleaning fee for having a dog, though no dog was ever on site, so don't pet dogs during your stay I guess. Heater and H2O set-up are as advertised and performed well. Aside from thebaccusations of having a dog and high cleaning fee for the imaginary dog, I would reccomend.

Unfortunately, the pet hair was significant beyond just being on clothes including the fact that it was laying on the rug. I did reach out to the guest for an explanation before charging the excessive cleaning fee for pet hair EVERYWHERE. Unfortunately, the guest never responded to my inquiry about the hair, leaving me little choice but to assume that they intentionally broke the house rules and brought a pet. To turn around and say that the cleanliness and communication of the camper is 2, doesn't match with the situation.

Great stay!

We had a very pleasant stay here. As long as you read the description and know what you are signing up for (outhouse, bugs, etc), you will enjoy your visit! We loved being able to stay outside of the nearby tourist trap areas and feel closer to nature. The camper is very cozy with all the amenities you need, including a very comfortable bed. The hosts were extremely quick to respond when we had questions. They were there in minutes when we needed help turning on the hot water. My husband and I camp a lot, and the outhouse here is definitely one of the nicer ones we've encountered. The screened in porch was also very much appreciated. We had a wonderful visit!

Everything seemed like it was brand new: pots and pans, plates etc, and the trailer itself was just recently painted/spruced up. Very comfortable sleeping for 2. We thought we could have taken the car all the way to the trailer. Lugging the cooler from the parked car without bug spray on was the only thing that could be improved.

Camper Creates Contented Campers

The camper was exactly what was needed. The short distance from Denali was opportune after long days spent hiking and looking for wildlife and the proximity to more wildlife as we drifted off to sleep was absolutely wonderful. All of the amentites worked exactly as we had expected and our hosts did a fantastic job communicating. I especially appreciated the explanations and ability to find out more about the area through reading material in the camper. Even though it got down to ~15º one night the heater was exactly what was needed to keep things cozy inside. Thank you!

Isolated and plenty adequate

The instructions to find the place and use the entry method were clear and easy to understand. The trailer is fairly isolated, but there are other lodgings in the same dirt road access. We could not hear or see them while in the trailer, but we knew they were there. It was not an issue at all, but just understand this is effectively a small neighborhood with plenty of separation. The owners also provided instructions for use that were easy to use. The solar/battery solution was plenty adequate for our needs, we were happy to help conserve that resource, and the use of water. The outhouse was close and clean as well. My only complaint was the 200+ yard hike from where the car is parked to the trailer. We had heavy luggage for our 10 day AK trip, which made it tough to carry to the trailer. I ended up grabbing a few things from it and leaving it in the car. It is about 25 miles north of the Denali park entrance. Thanks for the use of it, and I recommend it to anyone with light luggage and a desire for isolation and an economical lodging answer for Denali.
