Stay comfortably at this one room cabin for two travelers. Nestled in a tranquil setting, this cabin offers a phenomenal escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. With heating to keep you cozy, A simple one room Alaska dry ( no plumbing) secluded 16x16 cabin retreat is the perfect spot for guests looking to unwind and relax. A get away for two surrounded by the foothills and Alaska Mountain Range. Up on a ridge over looking the landscape. Perfect opportunity to watch for wildlife. From your cabin is a 15 -20 minute hiking trail to the lake for a viewing of Denali Mountain and 16 miles drive to the Denali National Park entrance.
AWD or 4 wheel drive vehicle is required for driving to the cabin or parking in the 2 wheel drive area and with a 15 minute hike up the ridge road to the cabin. Transportation is available to the cabin for checking in and out from the 2 wheel drive parking area.
Cabin is set-up for two guests and provides
- Two chairs and table,
- Electric heaters with remote control.
-Small refrigerator with small freezer,
- Microwave,
- Keurig coffee maker
- Two twin/single beds with pillows, sheets and light blankets.
- A wash and gray water dry sink with 5 gals. water jug for washing over the sink. (bring drinking bottle water, cooking and eating utensils, etc..)
- Outhouse toilet is about 50 feet away from cabin.
- Sorry, this cabin has NO shower.
- Laundry, showers, fuel stations, groceries & supplies stores and Dinning are available just 5 miles south in the town of Healy.
- Pets are welcome with a pet fee, but cannot be left unattended in the cabin or on the property.
- Additional guest for each person after two are welcome with a fee. Guest need to provide bedding and set-up sleeping area.
- Additional fees can be add to your booking under basic rate fees.
