Welcome to G.F. Wiard Cottage, a thoughtfully designed, dog friendly getaway just a few blocks from historic downtown Cody. Inspired by the legacy of the original G.F. Wiard home built in 1907, this newly constructed cottage blends modern comfort with charming simplicity. With its open layout, vaulted ceilings, and abundant natural light, the home feels bright and spacious while offering cozy, efficient design to make the most of your stay. Weather taking in all the action of historic Cody or venturing to Yellowstone, you'll feel right at home at G.F. Wiard Cottage
Inside, the cottage features a beautifully appointed great room that brings the kitchen, dining, and living areas together in one inviting space. The kitchen is outfitted with custom cabinetry, quartz countertops, and full-size appliances, making it easy to cook and relax just like at home. The private bedroom includes a comfortable queen bed, built-in dresser, and full closet, while the ensuite bathroom offers a fully tiled walk-in shower and modern fixtures for a clean, spa-like feel.
Step outside to enjoy the fully fenced backyard—perfect for guests traveling with a dog. The private outdoor space features patio seating, a dining area, and a gas grill, ideal for relaxing after a day exploring the region. Located within easy walking distance of Cody's restaurants, galleries, coffee shops, and unique local boutiques, G.F. Wiard Cottage also serves as an excellent basecamp for adventures to Yellowstone National Park and the surrounding mountains.

Very clean and cute place in walking distance of historic downtown Cody. We enjoyed our stay, and would definitely recommend. We loved the rodeo and the Buffo Bill museum.

Best place for your 4 footed family member and your 2 footed ones as well!

We visit Cody every year and this was the perfect place for my husband and our golden retriever to stay. Beautiful cottage with everything you need to feel like you're at home. Completely fenced in yard was a must and this provided the comfort our pup needed!

Great location and super neat and tidy!

This is the cutest and cleanest little "cottage" or tiny house. Great location! We walked to everything downtown. Covered all the basic needs and cute little fenced in back yard. If it is available the next time we come to town we would stay here again.

This tiny house was perfect! We loved all the amenities that came with the house. It was very clean and beautifically decorated. We were in Cody visiting our Grandaughter, so this was the perfect location to downtown. Our little dog was very happy with the fenced back yard. We would stay here again!

Cute little house!

This was an excellent place for the pup and I to stop off while I did a few days of remote work. The place was clean, easy to find and full of natural light during the day. Other than the neighbor’s dog, which the owners have no control over, the house was quiet and peaceful. I would have appreciated a few basic items such as salt, pepper and oil to make cooking more of a reality. I’d definitely stay there again next time I’m in Cody.
