Wonderful open views of the Dent du Chat, Le Granier range, etc. Old farmhouse outside hamlet with large south-facing terrace overlooking meadow, old orchard (1.5 hectares). Two entrances off private courtyard. Main entrance into dining room (ornamental fireplace), partly open-plan kitchen (charming, old fashioned family ambience), two sitting rooms (1 with open-hearth fireplace), small bathroom (hip bath). Another entrance into utility/boiler room with storage units, shower, separate WC. 1st floor: corridor leading to Rose bedroom (queen-size bed) and Fougère bedroom (120cm wide bed) for 1 person. Another corridor leads to Bleue bedroom (2 single beds, 120cm wide bed) for 3 people, Suite (2 electrically controlled 80cm wide beds joined together) with private lounge area, small dressing room. Beyond lounge/study area, bathroom (3 steps to access) & separate WC, is the Verte bedroom (double bed, 2 single beds) for 4 people. Oil-fired heating. |Many hiking/riding trails. In surrounding hamlets: communal bread ovens (one classed in 1938 as an Historical Monument in hamlet of Meyrieu). Brillat-Savarin gourmet weekends/meetings. House backs onto mountain with footpath to Innimond on the doorstep. The Bugey has 500 km of waymarked hiking trails. Walk or drive to lakes. Fishing possible in owners' private lake (on request). Many waterfalls. Walibi water sports centre, La Balme caves, etc.
