The Rockwell at Three Dog Farm in Sewanee, TN

Welcome to the Rockwell! Have an experience like no other on the mountain in an original Norman Rockwell Airstream. There were only 50 of these Special Editions built in 1997, and we’ve been told that only 7 are known to exist! We have left a few hints of the original decor within the renovated interior.
The Rockwell is fully equipped with AC/Heat, indoor bathroom and shower, full galley kitchen with refrigerator and freezer, plenty of seating space, lots of storage and an adjoining deck with a outdoor shower, comfortable seating and a fantastic view of Three Dog Farm. You can not help but relax and unwind on the large, quiet covered porch.
Guests also have access to our 5 acre lake in the center of 35 acres complete with kayaks, canoes, paddle boards and an old leaky Jon boat. The fishing is great and finish your day with a nice campfire in the fire pit.

Airstream but with a large deck

Great neighborhood and very remote setting. The lake was a nice addition and a fire pit. I stayed in early june and was very comfortable sleeping on the covered deck while my friend slept inside. The couch is actually a decent sleeper as well. Easy check in and out, no issues to complain about.

My wife, Laura, and I began entertaining guests with first class accommodations on the mountain in 4 separate venues, all located on 35 acres, about 4 years ago. We began with our Farm House that we absolutely love! Next, we built the Camp House in 2018 which is 15 feet from our 5 acre lake. Built for 2 it is a perfect couple getaway. In 2020 as Covid began we were half way finished with the Wimmer Place, it’s the perfect home for a couple and 2 kids. Most recently, we began rehabbing a 1997 Norman Rockwell Airstream Trailer (one of 50 built). Completely renovated and has the added bonus of a fabulous view off the deck and an very private outdoor shower (there’s one inside as well). All properties have access to the lake and watercraft, swimming, fishing and very lazy days watching horses, donkeys, ducks and geese.

Proximity to the college and all the venues in Monteagle, The Caverns, Sewanee, hiking, climbing, biking and so much more. Each venue has a complete list of restaurants, hikes, outdoor activities within minutes of the Farm.

The Rockwell has been completely renovated and updated in 2022, with a Boho appeal.
Though renovated inside, perhaps the real beauty is the outside living aspect including comfortable seating on a huge covered deck, a relaxing hammock, an outdoor private shower, tastefully landscaped surroundings, a great, ready to light, fire pit and the peacefulness of 35 acres…and only 6 miles from campus central!
