Downtown Westside Cottage

Be our guest at our darling cottage on the old westside of Downtown Carson City. This cottage offers 1 bedroom with a queen-size bed, and the living room couch has a pull-out full-size bed. This is a quiet neighborhood where most of the sounds you hear are the birds singing. Walking distance to legislative buildings, restaurants, bars, coffee shops, live entertainment, casinos, museums, art galleries, and more! Lake Tahoe and Reno are a quick 25 min. away. I consider our house to be a tiny home. Private backyard, with area to eat alfresco or enjoy your favorite beverage after a day of enjoying our beautiful area. Free parking on the street.

I love it! The backyard was so tranquil. Great location. Just mins from downtown. I was there for 4 months and the only time I drove was to go the grocery. I walked everywhere! Would definitely stay there again.

Best Cottage in Town

Location, location, location, a mere bike ride from everything you’d want from family members to Groceries. And to top the convenience of this cottage, it also had a stackable washer and dryer, so NO flying home with dirty clothes. It’s lay out is perfect indoors and outdoors with a picnic area where we hosted several suppers. I found nothing wrong with this cottage and strongly recommend it as your home away from home!

Lovely, well-appointed cottage; will stay again

Everything was perfect. Really nice, quiet, tree-lined neighborhood. Great communication from the owner throughout, and I even got a friendly assist with a car problem that was above-and-beyond the call of duty. Guests may want to be aware that there is no central heating or a/c. Instead there is a quality heating/cooling unit in the 2nd bedroom and a nice adjustable heating unit in the bathroom. (I like a cold master bedroom, so this was great, for me.)(The master bed was extremely comfortable with high-quality linens and pillows.)

Cute and great location

This place is really cute and the location is great next to the downtown area. The owner was very responsive and it was well stocked, with a nice welcome basket of snacks upon arrival. Since it is on the smaller side, we made do eating around the little table in the living room. This won’t be an issue when outside seating is an available option during the rest of the year. I would highly recommend and we would definitely stay here again!
