House was clean and well maintained. Loved the beach decor! 5 minute walk to the beach! Hosts were very responsive and proactively communicated from when we first booked to the day we checked out. We had a great stay!

Adorable cottage, great location, easy!

This cottage is cute and cozy, and such a great location! Right on the salt marshes, walkable to Pine Point restaurants, and bike-able to Old Orchard Beach. It was super clean, REALLY comfy bedding, and Bayley Vacation Rentals was very communicative and helpful with guidance on check-in/-out, recs, and just checking in on us to see if we needed anything or had questions.

Cute little house but not good for tall people

The house was cute, clean and well appointed. If you want to go to the beach the location is excellent. Very quiet area. Only problem for us is that my husband is 6’4” and it has VERY low ceilings. Even my sons who are 6 foot were hitting their heads. Also, just note that although it has three bathrooms. Only one had a shower. Otherwise, a nice little cottage.

Pine Point Vacation

The property was as advertised - clean, accommodating. Owner/Management Company was helpful - easy to reach and to communicate with. Property is about a 3 block walk to the ocean beach.

Great Location

This is a beautiful area! The house is minutes from the beach and marina. The house is small but updated. It worked perfectly for our family of four and a set a grandparents.

Cute cottage minutes from lovely beach

We had a nice time staying at The Cove. Our group consisted of 4 adults and 2 young children. The cottage is smaller than it seems in the pictures but it was all we needed. The kitchen was fully stocked and all of the kitchen accessories were clean and new. The one downstairs bedroom is tiny and there is no AC in that room. This was ok when we were there because it wasn’t too hot. Downstairs there is a good sized full bathroom with a tub shower and double sinks. There is also a closet off the kitchen with a stacked washer/ dryer and a little air plane sized sink and toilet. Upstairs the ceilings are slanted so if you are very tall you might have to be careful. The largest bedroom has a stand up AC, it worked pretty well but it was so loud and it leaked a little water onto the rug in the room. The large bedroom has a tiny half bath that was very convenient and cute. The other bedroom is perfect for kids. We had no problem fitting a pack and play for our baby, and our 3 year old slept in one of the beds. The air conditioner was a window unit and it did not work too well. Upstairs between the rooms there is a little hall area with some books and there was even a baby toy foam blocks set that my kids enjoyed playing with. There is a little hide out play area in the crawl space as well. We actually brought a fold up baby gate to somewhat secure the stairs and it worked well. The sheets in the bedrooms were nice. The bath towels were good. Other than updating the air conditioner units in the bedrooms and adding one into the downstairs bedroom the other suggestion I have relates to the beach equipment. We asked prior to our stay how many beach chairs there were and the said “we can not confirm how many their are”. So we brought 4 of our own. We got there and there were 2. I was so glad we brought our own. We also brought our own beach towels, shade tent, umbrella, and toys for the kids. The house did have an umbrella and a couple beach toys and a cart for beach stuff. The house is about a 5 minute walk to the beach or maybe even less. Pine point beach is beautiful. It seemed so quiet and not over crowded. We absolutely loved it. The walk is easy and so convenient with young children! The area was surprisingly quiet! Our favorite restaurant that we tried in the area was pine point grill, and Sea Salt Lobster. The best ice cream by far was at the dairy corner! Overall we had a wonderful stay!

Great condition, near the beach

Management is very responsive and very communicative. House is immaculate and kitchen well equipped. Keurig coffee. Just 2-3 minute walk to the beach. The road in front is busy, but it didn't bother us at night. The ceilings are low downstairs, Maybe 6'6"? Upstairs rooms are dormered with very low head clearance in some places. One full bath off kitchen + 2 half baths. We had a great time.

Air conditioning is less than adequate with hot temperatures. Had seven adults and only six beds. Could have been cleaner when we arrived, sand on the table. One shower/tub for seven people. Thank you.

We loved this house!

This was our first house rental in years. We were meeting our children and two grandchildren there, and hoped it would work for everyone. It was perfect for us. The house had great amenities, with complete kitchen including dishwasher, new nice appliances, plenty of shelf and cabinet room. The mini washer and dryer were very handy, and unexpected. Bathrooms (1 full and 2 half) were modern, nice. Beds were so comfortable. Lots and lots of pillows. The grandkids loved the little carpeted cubby space at the top of the stairs, liked sleeping there. The house was cool and comfortable during very hot weather during our stay. The kids loved the big screen TV and L couch in living room. Door codes worked so much better than keys! A few suggestions: mosquitos and flies are extensive in beach areas but for the porches outside the house, it would be nice to have a bug zapper, or some other repellent for that area (some of the lights that repel?) Also, maybe some beach towels would be nice for people traveling in with limited luggage space, same with light blankets. We did appreciate the manual that you provided about the area, some of the house details. A description of the bedroom set ups would be helpful for people to plan ahead for a larger number of people. Overall it was one of the smoothest, and most fun vacation our gang has had in long time. Thank you!!! Carol and Tom McFarland

Great small family beach home

The 5 min walk to the beach was amazing for our family with young kids - enabled us to come and go throughout the day. The house was very clean and well-appointed. It’s a bit smaller than the pictures make it look, but we spent most of the time outside anyway. Tons of beach toys, two umbrellas, and a beach cart were great. And we enjoyed the little deck and picnic table for outdoor dinners. We’d definitely recommend for a family.

Nicely decorated home. Close to beach. Beware of red seaweed/Japanese red algae. Loved Ferry Beach

The property is decorated well indicative of beach life. Updated furnishings/very comfortable. We had many hiccups w/ our stay -no fault of the mgmt company, Bayley. Bayley was very thorough from many helpful communications prior to arrival, during stay, coming to the house to remedy issues. They are top notch. Home owner needs to update things. It has potential. Pros/Cons below. PROS: Location (accessible to beach/restaurants) Clean home-updated living room/bedroom furnishing Comfortable beds. Twin trundle beds in one bdrm Washer/Dryer/Dishwasher/Fully stocked kitchen Small deck out back/beach cart onsite Small play spaces upstairs with toys/books for kids Welcome basket upon arrival from Bayley Vacation Rentals Safe neighborhood Excellent property mgmt co. (Bayley) CONS: Kitchen not updated *Electrical issues in kitchen* Fridge didn't work upon our late evening arrival. Didn't realize til morning after we loaded it with food. One entire wall of outlets (opposite fridge) where toaster oven, keuring were located on counter did not work. I had to trouble shoot all the outlets-realized we could not use any of that counter for appliances & had to move things to main table in kitchen using our own extension chord to use appliances. Bayley did send maintenance to assist. He looked in basement, informed us fridge is on same breaker as the other wall appliances and big appliances need to be on their own breaker. Big inconvenience to us-luckily we didn't lose our perishables. We were told owner of home plans to renovate the kitchen Fall/2021. Hopefully they do it correctly! FRONT DOOR UNLOCKED ON ARRIVAL WiFi SPOTTY - one would connect, other would get disconnected. Again, after trouble shooting ourselves with guidance from Bayley, it was discovered there wasn't a router/modem in home. This 3 bdrm home was sharing a network with house directly behind it. Bayley took care of it. Contacted owner, approval to add network to property-Spectrum came, installed while someone from Bayley stayed RED SEA WEED (TONS) on beach/in water. Went once & never again. It's a problem. Disgusting. Look it up. AC NEEDED ON MAIN FLOOR! SO HOT! Main bdrm reading 82* on digital fan. Bayley brought 1 of theirs our last 2 days Shade needed in kitchen- so hot NO PRIVACY-close to neighbors- noisy neighbors on deck late PM NO TV's in bdrms TRIP HAZARD STEP from kitchen to living rm *Bayley took care of us-made things right* Owner is lucky to have them!
