A 5 bedroom 3 bathroom house in a gated community that is right next to a lake and 2 minute walk away from a tennis court, basketball court and playground. The house also has an entertainment area on the first floor with multiple arcade games and a poker table to have fun with your family/friends. All bedrooms are spacious and have amazing and clean beds that will help you get a good night's sleep. The house also has 2 Porches that are fully furnished with a outdoor grill on the top poarch good for BBQ

Everything we needed

The Tobyhanna property had everything we needed for our weekend in the Poconos. All rooms inside the house have been renovated and the new lower deck on the back is spacious for groups. Plenty of parking for our group who had some different schedules and were coming in at different times. The sun does rise beautifully on the water and the back deck provides wonderful views with coffee in the morning. Be sure to follow all instructions for check in, as you are required to check in with the welcome office for a parking pass before you go to the house. This is a requirement for many of the developments in this area. Here is the location to get your parking pass: 123 Country Pl Dr, Tobyhanna, PA 18466. We used the kitchen to cook large meals for our full group of 12 adults. We used this house as a central location for our events; riding ATVs, Mountain View Vineyard, White water rafting, and the Casino. Overall, we were very satisfied with out stay here. Thank you! Frank

PLEASE READ ALL OF THIS! First let’s start off by saying any inquiries you get back regarding this house are from Veras 17yr old son, Vera had made it very clear that she is too busy to deal with anything other than her 4 kids. When we drove up to the house and parked in the drive we were greeted with a mound of trash in a can, and the whole property was covered in trash. There were wires exposed on the outside of the house as well. It’s a shame because the view really is spectacular, but you can not even enjoy it or walk around it because it was covered in trash. When I called about it I was told from the son, oh it’s from our neighbors there’s really nothing I can do. I’m 2 hours away so I can’t come down and clean it up. Was told someone would be out in the morning to clean it up, that never happened. The house does not have air, which would be fine if there were screens in the windows. No screens at all in any windows in the living area - living room, kitchen or dining room. There is a slider door, but that screen door was broken with wholes in it and no it was not from us as I’m sure she will try to say. Our family was supposed to stay for 1wk. We couldn’t stay more than 1 night because of the condition of the property. When we finally talked to Vera we mentioned to her about the screens missing in the windows, her response was “open the windows and get bug spray.” Our concern was not bugs to be honest, we were worried about our children falling from the second story window! She also told us that since we only stayed one night she would refund us for the other nights, but then went against it and decided not to. She actually decided to charge us for all the things that were already broken in the house! The towels and all linen were not washed as they smelled like dirty, sweaty people. She did agree for us to use the washer and drier she has available only for people that rent 2wks or longer, but said we can only use it 4 times. We never used them. Renting a house for a few thousands dollar for a week should have no trash visible, air or at least screens, and a washer and drier! Do yourself a favor and swipe left. This house and these owners are scum. The community it is in is A pocono country place and is very run down and unkempt. Do your research so you don’t end up like us.

Owners of the houses be aware !!!! This lady booked my house for 8 adults and 6 children .Instead she came with 4 more people .No authorization was received from me ,neither anybody asked for even permission . After 2 days in my house they literally destroyed it and left it filthy ,not just dirty . They broke everything they could ,did not even let me know ,no apologies and just took off before their time was up .Obviously they simply could not fit and they broke everything around them .After all she had an audacity to say that I filed claim for everything she and her kids broke. I have a brand new house after complete renovation and she claims baseless nonsense about fictitious garbage . Our cleaning staff not only sending us pictures but even sending a video when they done cleaning . So I have plenty of evidences of her fabricating stuff . Homeowners do not let this lady in . Cause she will give you a headache and cause hundreds of dollars in damages !
