The Maison Jérôme reveals a rare universe: an exceptional apartment with generous volumes, bathed in sunlight, opening onto a large tree-lined terrace where the view majestically embraces the Palace of the Popes.

The Maison Jérôme is located on the 2nd floor without a lift, accessible by a wide and comfortable staircase.



In the heart of Avignon's historic centre, car access is possible, but the medieval alleyways are narrow take your time, this is also part of the place's charm.



Parking Palais des Papes included, just a 5-minute walk away, secure (max height 1.90m). An unlimited access card is provided.



The terrace is a relaxation area: please respect the neighbourhood's peace and quiet after 9:30 pm and avoid any gatherings.



The accommodation is not suitable for people with reduced mobility.

We had an amazing stay here! We were communicated with extremely well, greeted at the front door and everything in the apartment was explained to us. There were treats and a bottle of champagne chilling in the refrigerator as well. The apartment was quiet, with exactly the view of the Papal Palace shown in the listing, which was stunning. It is very large and well-stocked, with a lovely terrace as well. It was an easy walk to restaurants and shops.There is no elevator, so there are a few flights of stairs, as mentioned in the listing. That didn't bother us at all, but be aware. Also, in at least one of the bedrooms the ensuite shower area has no door, and so one might feel a little exposed if sharing the room with a friend. But really, this place is one of the top five or six places I have ever stayed, and I've stayed in a lot of places -- I highly recommend it, and would definitely stay here again.

We were three couples (my parents and us) and were lucky to access the apartment before the scheduled check-in time. The managers were excellent and helped us carry our luggage. The apartment was very clean, and we really enjoyed the large terrace of the Jérôme house.

J’ai réservé cet endroit pour moi et ma famille, mais j’ai dû arriver un peu avant eux pour le travail. C’est un lieu très calme, idéal pour travailler et faire des visioconférences, sans aucun bruit dérangeant. Je recommande à 100 % pour les familles, les couples ou les voyageurs d’affaires.

Exceptional Welcome and Professional Service

Margot kindly brought the car into the parking area, which was extremely helpful given her great knowledge of Avignon. We were three couples, each with our own bedroom and private bathroom, which made the stay very comfortable. They welcomed us with a bottle of champagne, and as she was very friendly, we even invited her to have a drink with us. The team is highly professional, warm, and welcoming. We truly felt well taken care of throughout our stay.

Best stay in Avignon

Maison Jerome is tucked away on a quiet residential street with a stunning view of the Palais des Papes and just a short walk from bustling squares and small cafes and restaurants. The apartment is exactly the place you want to come back to after a day of exploring. It’s hard not to head directly to the enormous terrace to soak in the sunnap in the shade. The apartment is sunny and spacious and exquisitely decorated, well beyond the usual. It was spotlessly clean and well stocked with dishes and kitchen equipment. Our hosts were there to greet us when we arrived , helped us navigate the restricted center village streets and get our luggage into the apartment. They provided a very useful online guide that they created for their guests and supplemented it by responding quickly to our requests for recommendations. They could not have been more friendly, openhelpful. We were absolutely delighted with Maison Jerome as our home base for exploring Avignon, and would happily return.

We had such a great stay in this charming apartment! It’s super spacious, very clean, and well decorated. We made a lot of use of the gorgeous balcony. The location made it easy to enjoy Avignon, and is steps away from the Popes palace. The hosts were super communicative and helpful throughout our stay. Would definitely recommend and would love to come back!

Our stay was amazing. The apartment was perfect, tastefully decorated, comfy beds and great bathrooms which made our stay extremely comfortable. Plenty of space indoors and out to relax and take in the view. The gift basket was greatly appreciated. The views of the palace were picturesque. Could not of asked for anything more. We didn’t want to leave.

Amazing stay

We had such an amazing stay here, the pictures don’t do it justice, all the bedrooms were comfortable and had their own bathrooms, we really enjoyed using the outdoor patio and even stayed in and cooked dinner one night. It was a very comfortable apartment in a great location and our host Chloe was always very responsive and helpful, she also allowed us to have a flexible check in/out time which was great! I would definitely stay here again!

Superbe appartement rénové avec beaucoup de goût se situant dans une très belle maison ancienne. Accueil très sympathique et communication pendant le séjour très efficace et attentionnée. Cuisine fonctionnelle avec tout l’équipement nécessaire. Chaque chambre avec douche et toilettes. Très bonne literie. Immense terrasse très agréable. L’appartement est très calme, on n’entend pas le bruit de la rue. C’est un appartement dans le lequel on se verrait bien vivre à l’année.

Great Stay in Avignon

We had a great stay at the property. The host was super quick to respond and the location was amazing to walk to anything in Avignon. The AC worked great as well which was nice to come back to when it was so hot out. The only caveat is driving to the property is difficult due to the small roads. We would definitely book this property again!

This a a beautiful spacious apartment with a lovely large patio and amazing view of the Pope’s palace. Excellent communication from Marie and so many thoughtful touches in the apartment. Very friendly and helpful in-person greeting from Margo. From this apartment it is easy to walk anywhere in the old town, and many charming restaurants and cafes are nearby.

Fantastic apartment with view of Palais des Papes. Very spacious with high-end finishes and design elements (cool light fixtures, wallpaper, decor). Comfortable beds and pillows. Several modern showers and bathrooms. Huge terrace. Quiet. Air conditioning worked perfectly during a heat spell. Walking distance to everything in the historic core of Avignon.

This is an exceptional property! From the very attentive check-in process to the quick responses to questions, the management of this listing is superb. The apartment is spacious, beautifully decorated, and has top quality furnishings. The views from the living room and spacious patio are amazing. Everything was super clean and like new. There is a washer and separate dryer (not common in Europe). The location is great. Too many nice things to completely list in a review.

This was the most wonderful stay we have ever had at a home rental, and we have had many. The home is beautiful, clean, well stocked and the host was very responsive. The outdoor space is lovely and we have the most incredibile of the popes palace. Thank you for letting us stay here

Avignon Paradise

Maison Jérôme in the center of Avignon was perfect. It was Spacious with all the required amenities. Lovely patio where we enjoyed some wine and cheese. It was very clean and better than advertised. The communication before during and after the stay could not have been better. Pack light though as you will have to navigate 3 flights of stairs but well worth the effort.
