This two bedroom holiday house is modern, cozy and located very close to town ensuring it has everything to make your stay truly memorable.
With only a two minute walk to Wanaka town / lake and fantastic lake/ mountain views from the lounge the location is unbeatable. The property is set back from the road ensuring quietness and privacy, the sunny courtyard at the back of the house is an ideal place for relaxing or entertaining.
There is also a large garage for the safe parking of your car, bikes and snow gear. For your additional convenience there is a drying room so that everything is ready for your next day on the snow.
The bedrooms have new split king beds which can be set up for you as either double or a twin rooms. All linen is included in the nightly rate. The lounge has a log burner and all firewood is provided. There is also a heatpump and a heat transfer system so all the house is snug and warm during the winter months.

We loved our stay at Georges House and highly recommend

The stay was fantastic, perfect location in town but super quiet and the view from the house is amazing., We brought our dog with us and it is the best pet friendly rental with secure outdoor area. The house was superbly appointed and had absolutely everything we needed - the fire and plentiful supply of firewood was an absolute treat!

Great place to stay.

Very convenient location within walking distance to the Lake and Town Centre. The place got everything we needed for family holiday. Pet friendly is a bonus for us. We have a great time staying at this place and will come back again next time we visit Wanaka.

Very clean house with all amenities you need. Short walk to restaurants and lake. Wanaka was the most beautiful city Ive seen.

Clean, cosy and convenient

A lovely space - clean and comfortable. Well appointed kitchen. Outside sitting area was a nice place to sit and relax. Great location. Just steps away from shops and restaurants and lake walk.

Home away from home - but better!

Fabulous views and location. The property was very clean and comfortable. It was also well stocked with those little items you may have forgotten to bring on holiday! Very pet friendly and the hosts were super helpful. Highly recommend.

Close to downtown, all modern conveniences, warm, comfortable. We were happy there. Reasonably priced.If a return to Wanaka is planned, I will certainly check to see it Georgeshouse is available. .

Great property in the centre of Wanaka

Loved our stay here. The property was clean, inviting and well set up with great views. Easy walk to lake and all the restaurant in Wanaka. Plenty of firewood for the fireplace ensured a cosy environment in winter. Kitchen was well equipped for all our needs. Overall, a great stay in Wanaka

A lovely stay in a lovely part of town

A lovely experience in a lovely home. Plenty of space and well equipped - with very easy access into Wanaka and the town centre! A few shops and restaurants just around the corner make it very easy to manage food and drink needs!

Great little house!

Loved being able to walk the dog in the park right behind the property. Really enjoyed my morning walks with great views and no people! The house was perfect. Clean, modern and really well eqipt. Would definitely stay again. Thanks

Lovely home in a five star location

This is perhaps one of the nicest holiday homes we have ever stayed in. Fantastic location, super clean and fully kitted out with everything you might need for a relaxing stay. Absolutely loved the view of the lake from the living area and the sunny & sheltered courtyard was a lovely spot for an afternoon drink. Place was very clean and tidy. Best part was the wonderful view of the mountains. Beds were very comfortable. The house is so close to restaurants Host was very responsive to our queries.

Perfect for our stay

We had 5 nights here. The unit is exactly as described with everything required for our stay. While there were only 2 of us the unit easily accommodates 4 people. Lovley sunny courtyard, great to have use of the garage as well. Location is very close to town. We would definitely stay there again.

Perfect Wanaka Holiday spot

Thank you for a lovely stay. The property was spotless and well appointed. The location is excellent and only a short stroll to all ammenities. Beds were very comfortable and the view wonderful. The courtyard out the back sunny and sheltered. Being dog friendly is the icing on the cake. 🐾 We will be back 😊

Easy to recommend!

Great location. Easy walk to lake, restaurants & shops. Lovely view. Quiet. Comfortable beds, plenty of linens. Very clean & well maintained. Though we don’t have a fur baby right now, I appreciate that the owners are pet-friendly. The place was so squeaky clean you’d never know!

Life Saver

We had to make last minute changes to our trip due to a cyclone on the north island. Nikki was quick to respond. The apartment is clean with a very well stocked kitchen. Location is perfect only a few minutes to the lake and super markets within walking distance.

Perfection

Bo”s batch is the cosiest place we have ever stayed. The fire place warms up the entire house perfectly, the beds are comfortable, the couches are huge and the place could not be cleaner. All the essentials are there with a drying room downstairs in the huge garage, ample fire wood, heaters throughout plus aircon but these were not really needed as the fire place does the whole house. The location is what really makes this place though, right in the heart of Wanaka. We could not have been more centrally located for our stay. Restaurants only steps away, small convenience stores and a short walk to the lake. We would not look for another rental in Wanaka…
