This 3-bedroom, 2-bath classic 1950s Florida home has recently undergone a partial remodel and a full Boho-style makeover, blending vintage charm with modern comfort.

Guests will enjoy an updated kitchen, new Zinus memory-foam mattresses in every bedroom, a Smart Samsung TV in the living area, and a Smart TV in the King and Queen bedrooms, along with secure, high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the home.

Located in the highly desirable Alta Vista neighborhood, within Sarasota city limits, the home is:

The King bedroom, the largest in the home, offers ample space for a crib or playpen. The Queen bedroom features a private ensuite bathroom with a full shower.

Remote workers will appreciate the lightning-fast Wi-Fi and dedicated desk and office chair located on the lanai. Unwind in the living area and enjoy your favorite streaming content on a 65-inch Smart Samsung TV, conveniently viewable from both the kitchen and living room.

Step outside to a fully fenced backyard with a grassy lawn and a paver patio illuminated by LED string lights, perfect for evening relaxation. The patio seats six and includes a propane barbecue grill for outdoor dining.

We stayed here while in town for a soccer tournament. The house was well maintained and clean. The neighborhood was quiet. The host was easy to reach when needed.

Very comfortable house, spot less, well appointed, exceptional fenced back yard for my 2 dogs. Super close to everything, downtown minutes away with awesome shopping and dining. Equidistant to Siesta or Lido, but I am a Lido baby, pups and I did check hurricane recovery on Siesta though. Price was great considering it was Christmas week. Awesome Owners very quick to respond and very informative throughout, start to finish. This is the only choice for me in the future for sure! Thanks so much, Cyd M

Great place to stay: quiet neighborhood, convenient to town, beach and parks.

The house was comfortably and well furnished, exceptionally clean, filled with conveniences for our stay. The hosts were very responsive and replied to all questions nearly immediately. They also provided great recommendations for places to dine, things to do and see to make the visit easy. Absolutely recommend for family groups or friends.

The Best!

This awesome home was perfect for our long stay. We loved the location especially…so close to many of our favorite things to do. The backyard was super, and we appreciated the many amenities included. The homeowners were wonderful communicators and offered great suggestions on restaurants and things to do. Can’t wait to come back!

Perfect House

We’ve stayed at this home two separate times and had a great experience. The house has everything you need, and the location is ideal. Lido And Siesta Key beaches are a short drive. The Bayfront and awesome restaurants downtown are just a few minutes from the house. Also close by is The Celery Fields, a great place to enjoy nature and many different bird species. Homeowners are the best! We will be back!

Perfect location, wonderful experience!

Everything about this rental is perfect and the owners are attentive and friendly. It’s about 15 mins away from Lido Beach and 15-25 mins away from most local attractions. They didn’t have a pack n’ play but Sarasota has a few rental services that offer drop off and pick up for families. If you’re sensitive to noise when you sleep : the AC is a little noisy when it’s on. We would rent again for sure!!

Absolutely perfect

We lived in Sarasota for many years before moving to Gainesville and know the area well. We stayed here when in town for the holidays. The house is just perfect — beautifully furnished, immaculately clean, well appointed in terms of kitchen and coffee bar. The backyard is great, although it was too cold to enjoy. Quiet neighborhood close to downtown and quick drive to Siesta Key. Terrific, responsive hosts. Cannot recommend highly enough!

I can’t say enough about our host, Tom and this beautiful property. The home is spotless, decorated beautifully to reflect the mid-century style of the home, and fully appointed with everything you need. The property is perfectly located within a short drive to most area attractions, Siesta Key Beach and Village, downtown, the Ringling Museum, Anne Selby Botanical Gardens to name a few. It is good for walking, in fact we walked to Publix to pick up a few groceries. Tom is a more than gracious host. We had a few hiccups with some of the technology in the home but that’s because we are a couple of old timers who are unfamiliar with it all. He spoke to me by phone and walked me through everything. He stayed in constant communication with me and was available any time I needed his help. Stay here! You won’t be sorry!Thank you Tom and Alice!

Cute Home with Good Hosts

Clean, cozy, comfortable. Well stocked kitchen with gadgets, pans, etc.. Good TV/streaming options. Hosts were easy to communicate with and expectations were clearly outlined (and totally reasonable). Appreciate the late arrival, late departure flexibility. Needed a place for downtime between Key West and Disney. This home allowed that. Wish we could have stayed longer to take advantage of the beach gear the hosts offered (beach towels, chairs, games). Enjoyed a game of Scrabble at the picnic table on the back porch. Ordered food delivery which was close by. Only 20 minutes to Siesta Key which is amazing. No complaints.

Better than the pictures!

I loved our stay at this amazingly cute and clean home. Close to all the things we had come into town for. Extra points for the beach equipment, that was a really nice perk for our beach day at Siesta Key. The beds were firm and yet comfortable. My nephews were big fans of the Starbucks coffee. I will definitely rent this place again next time I'm in Sarasota for more than a day

Newly renovated

The property is less than 2 miles from downtown Sarasota and a short drive to Sarasota, Lido, and St Armands keys. It's about 30 minutes to Myakka State Park, which is an excellent place to visit. The property was newly renovated and was in excellent condition. Tom and Alice, our hosts, couldn't have been nicer. It is located in a residential neighborhood. Publix is just a mile away.

Clean and Comfortable

My husband and I were really impressed with the newly renovated open and comfortable feel of this house. The attention paid to the decor was spot on. The house is stocked with all you need including beach towels and chairs. An added plus was the Keurig station. Close to everything! And a fenced-in large backyard for Fido. Would definitely recommend

We researched the Sarasota area for quite some time and found the neighborhood of ALTA VISTA to be a perfect combination of value and convenience. 2651 Wood Street is located in close proximity to everything that Sarasota has to offer. Active people can really go without a car at this location, walking to downtown (1.5 miles) or Payne Park (1 miles) while utilizing Uber for runs to the local supermarket (Publix 0.8 miles) or late nights downtown or in Siesta Key's Nightlife (6 miles). Airport proximity is also convenient - you can still enjoy a full day prior to departing with a quick 6 mile ride north (only 15 Minutes away!)
