Escape the waves from the main channel and relax and unwind in our brand-new secluded modern farmhouse cottage located in Little Crooked Creek (Rock Creek Area). This luxurious 4-bedroom 3.5 bath home is 2240 square-feet and sleeps 10, has an open floor plan, a well-stocked kitchen, living room with satellite TV, master bedroom with en-suite bathroom , a half bathroom, laundry room, deck and screened porch that overlook the water all located on the main level. Downstairs you will find a recreational room equipped with satellite TV, reclining couch, two additional bedrooms (1 queen with an en-suite and 1 queen with a shower / tub combo) and a bunk room that sleeps 4. Finally, enjoy the hot tub overlooking the water in the evening, making it a perfect getaway year round.

The property features a new 2-story dock equipped with 3 kayaks, 2 paddle boards, a floating water mat, plenty of seating, and an open boat slip. Enjoy the shaded upper deck while your kids dive into deep water from the jump gate. Rock Creek Marina is conveniently located 1.5 miles from the property and offers a boat launch, fuel, ice and snacks. In addition, contact “Squirrel” at Rock Creek Marina (205) 387-8616 for boat rentals. Finally, house includes a limited supply of basic amenities such as trash bags, zip lock backs, laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, and beach towels to cover the duration of your stay. Offering a 15 percent discount to previous guests.

This. House. Was. Everything! From the personal touches to the beautiful and peaceful view from every direction, the hot tub, the access to kayaks, the cleanliness, the decor-it had it all. We were there, I imagine , during a quieter time...seems to be a major summertime resort with all of the boating and water activities, BUT, this was exactly the vibe, temperature, and peacefulness that we were in need of! It is coincidentally fully prepared for the cooler weather with the hot tub and TWO fire pits. EXCELLENT

Great stay

We had a great time, house was clean, everything worked! Boat house was amazing, kayaks and water mat were fun also. Stairs to boat house are steep and long, house is on small dirt/gravel road which is challenging with boats. But we would definitely stay here again. Host were awesome and check in was a breeze.

Great Place on Smith Lake

Property is very well maintained and had all we needed while we were there. We had the beautiful, quiet cove largely to ourselves. Will provided us with life jackets for our whole family. The boat house is so great with a second deck that the kids loved to jump off of, and a covered area that was perfect for periodic breaks from the sun. We'd 100% stay again.

Perfection on the water

This place is exactly as pictured. The only thing that you don’t get from the listing is the friendliness and welcoming demeanor of the hosts. We did not have a single issue with the house. It was packed with everything you could ever need both inside the house and on the boat dock. The hosts were gracious to share all of their water toys and things instead of locking them up for safe keeping. The only negative thing to say is that the steps to the water is something I will prepare for going into staying next time - because we have every intention of staying again, soon.

The absolute best!

This home is not only absolutely beautiful but it is stocked with everything you could possibly need. From the time I booked this property to the time I left the home owner was so helpful when I had question's and also reached out to make sure everything would go smooth for our check in and out. The dock is the best we have ever had when staying at the lake. Highly recommend this home for your lake getaway. We will definitely be back.

Great Spring Break Getaway!

My family and I drove down from Minnesota for Spring Break. My 12 year old son loved fishing off the dock and Kayaking, My 15 year old daughter was thrilled to have some warm weather to tan on the upper Deck of the dock and relax in the hot tub. We had an amazing week creating memories in this beautiful home. Will and his wife were THE BEST hosts we have ever worked with on this site. So kind, helpful and quick to communicate. The house has everything you need to be comfortable and feel at home (Kitchen supplies, Spices, BEACH TOWELS, even bug spray!) I can not wait to go back one day, hopefully in the summer when we can truly enjoy the lake and all its beauty!

Very Nice!

We stayed here for a fishing tournament at the lake and loved it. The host is extremely helpful and the house is stocked full of everything you need from towels to spices to even a free bottle of wine to welcome you home. I highly recommend booking this venue if you are traveling to this lake. We plan on returning when there is no tournament just so we can enjoy all the property has to offer.

Perfect Getaway Weekend

The property was immaculate. Will's communication from the time that I booked the property was helpful and informative about our stay. He bought local beverages for our group to leave at the property that we all enjoyed. And we didn't need a single thing while staying. Will be back again.

Stunning Getaway Weekend

We were messaged ahead of time by the very helpful and responsive host- owner who made sure we were all set for our weekend of fun! The home is gorgeous. Absolutely everything about the home and location has been designed to maximize comfort, relaxation and and fantastic views. The home, hot tub, dock, kayaks, stand up paddles, etc. were all clean and very well-maintained. The beautifully designed kitchen had everything we needed need to feel at home. The beds were very comfortable. The lake is clean, and the quiet part of the lake where the house is located made for fantastic swimming. The clean hot tub welcomed us at then end of the day and we enjoyed family games (host has a bunch!) in the evening. One recommendation is to make sure to pack a cooler with plenty of food; the grocery stone is not close! We will definitely be back soon! Next time we plan to stay for much longer! Perfect lake home

Our family vacation at Mason’s lake home was absolutely wonderful. We are planning on coming back. The home was clean and well stocked. There were plenty of beds and bathrooms for the 5 of us. We were able to cook or grill all of our meals at home. The dock and lake are perfect for swimming and spending time together. We loved having the kayaks, paddle boards, and floats. We highly suggest exploring up the cove to the waterfall and renting a boat from Squirrel, if you don’t bring your own. Having the hot tub and solo stove added to a great stay.

Just Book It!

We have stayed at several rental properties and this one by far has been the most well stocked. Everything was just as described and the place looked just like the pictures posted. Will was the easiest and most involved host I’ve ever dealt with. He went above and beyond with giving as recommendations on a guided fishing trip, to spas, places to eat, golf courses and even where would be best to launch the boat. It’s a great home and will definitely book again when we come back to Smith Lake!

Best friends weekend getaway

We had a wonderful weekend! This home is beautiful and has every amenity you’ll ever need. The lake view is spectacular! The dock is fantastic. Our host was so friendly and informative - really goes above and beyond. Home was immaculate in every way and well stocked with everything we needed! We will DEFINITELY visit again and again!! Clean and cozy!!

This was such a cozy place to have a laid-back bachelorette weekend. Slept 10 adults comfortably and everything was immaculately clean! Hosts were great and always texted back immediately if we had any questions. Highly recommend!!

"A Christmas To Remember"

Let me start out by saying my husband and I have stayed at many VRBO'S, so we are able to compare to the other places we have stayed. Hands down this was the best home we have ever stayed in. First. Will was great to deal with from our first conversation to our last one when we said our thanks for such a wonderful stay. The house was spotless. I did not see a speck of dust. We arrived the day after Christmas and we were delighted to walk in to find a beautiful Christmas tree so tastefully decorated. There were beautifully appointed decorations through the entire house. I love to cook and can honestly say they have stocked the kitchen the way it should be. I could not think of anything I was in need of. The lay out of the house is amazing. We enjoyed the gas fireplace on the covered porch, used the solo fire pit outside and they even had the hot tub ready to go. The dock is outstanding. The attention to detail and thought that they have put into a perfect stay is so obvious from the moment you walk in the door. I would also say I have never slept in a more comfortable bed. My only disappointment was how fast our time went. We were sad to leave, but so thankful for a long awaited vacation that surpassed all expectations. Thank you again!

So glad we stayed!

This was a wonderful trip start to finish. Obviously the owners are going for a first class experience. Everything has been thought of. The house is beautiful and appointed wonderfully! We had the best time on walks, paddle boarding, and sitting by the fire. The owner was quick to reach out and respond to questions. Don’t hesitate! It’s a wonderful home!

Lake house splendor

Gorgeous home! This was our first visit to Alabama and this rental exceeded our expectation with the beautifully appointed home and stunning views of the lake. The house is so cozy and comfortable that we did not want to leave. Communication with the host was easy. Enjoyed exploring the area and the fishing off the amazing dock was great!

Wonderful!

Such a great property! The place was really clean. We were welcomed with a cute personalized message board, a bottle of wine and chocolates. So well stocked - from kitchen dishes, coffee pods and baggies to beach towels for the floating dock and hot tub to laundry soap to fire starters for the fire pit. Comfortable beds and great lounging space on the screened porch. Will was super responsive to the questions I had before and during our stay. An overall wonderful time spent here!

Phenomenal Property!

Our group (6 adults) had the best week at this property! The house itself is lovely and immaculately maintained. It was well stocked with everything we needed and the beds were so comfortable! They really thought of everything. We had so much fun hanging out on the 2-story dock, floating on the water, and taking advantage of the activities such as kayaking and paddle boards. We even got to watch a meteor shower from the top deck - spectacular! The dock was stocked with plenty of life vests, floats, and other amenities. On top of all that, Will was a delight to work with! He was very communicative and super generous with check-in and check-out times. Initially we were a little bummed about how far the house is from town, but after one grocery haul we never needed to leave the house; and the peace and quiet was so worth it. We are all so grateful for the hospitality and can't wait to go back!

Best VRBO Experience to Date!

This was the best VRBO experience we’ve ever had. The hosts were highly communicative and quick to respond. They went above and beyond and thought of special details to make our stay even more memorable, such as wine and chocolate for us upon arrival. It was immaculately clean, very well stocked with kitchen tools and games, through and simple instructions for everything, and all-around well designed. The dock was especially awesome with the 2 stories, the kayaks, paddle boards, etc. The owner truly thought of everything. Beautiful houses surrounding it and a quiet cove. We can’t wait to go back for more family trips!

Great property

This property is just beautiful. The house was perfect for our family. 6 adults (3 couples) and 4 grandchildren. Very new and nicely furnished. Wonderful bed linens and plenty of towels. Great kitchen, LOTS of gathering areas indoors and out. The kids loved being able to warm up in the hot tub after being in the lake. The boat dock was the best we have ever had. The upstairs had a very large shaded area and a gate for the kids to jump in the lake. Great fishing from the bridge and lots of good spots nearby also. There was hardly any boat traffic on this quiet slough. There are stairs to the lake but were very sturdy and easy to maneuver. There was also a fire pit with plenty of wood. We were able to rent a jet ski from Ski Bums and pick it up at a nearby marina. Triple creek Marina was nearby for gas. The owners responded very quickly to any questions we had. For us this was place was perfect!

Best vacation ever!

This home was just the best. Stunning and secluded and everything we wanted! We can’t wait to come back. The beds were also the most comfortable beds we’ve ever slept in, ha! Make sure to bring everything with you- there really isn’t anywhere to stop by quickly to grab things you forgot.
