Spring is here! Enjoy it with a relaxing stay in this 3 bedroom 2 bath house that sits across the road from the New River just 2 miles from Historic downtown Hinton, WV.
If you have come to town to enjoy water/outdoor activities….there are two public River accesses just a half of a mile in either direction, Pipestem State Park is approximately 15 miles away, several kayak/raft rentals approximately 3 miles away, Sandstone falls just 6 miles away, and several hiking trails all around.
If you have come to town to relax and enjoy the scenery…..this house has everything you need for your time in the New River Gorge National Park area while listening to the sounds of the River. We have a large front yard with yard games provided, a covered front porch, a fire pit, and a picnic table for you to enjoy with 2 gravel parking areas on site.

Nice property, well stocked with what you need, incredibly clean, quiet. Convenient to Sandstone Falls and Bluestone State Park. Small town of Hinton nearby. Great base for visiting places along the New River Gorge area. Very responsive and kind host!

Property was as described. We enjoyed the area. In the masterbath the shower floor was slippery. Would be nice to have queen bed in second bedroom.

Super clean and quiet; appreciate the TVs in bedrooms and the labeled cabiets (my wife wants to do this at home now). All the little extras- water, coffee pods, toiletries, fire wood- add up to take this place over the top. Conveniently located. Enjoyed our coffee on the front porch this morning listening to the river before checking out. Loved this place!

This home is located in a very nice spot. It’s just across the street from the river. Lots of ways to relax. Wish I could have stayed longer, but was just in for a weekend.

This house was such a great find for my family's vacation. The communication from Megan was clear and she was helpful! She gave us recommendations for food. The fridge was ready with water bottles and snacks were out for us to enjoy when we got there (much needed-my kids really enjoyed the treat!). The house was clean and updated we even had fire wood- if we had a chance to make a fire. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a quiet place close to the river..

What a beautiful place. It has all the amenities you need. It's directly across from the river which has a private, peaceful rock to fish from or just sit and listen to the rapids. Our host Megan was awesome and super quick to respond. We would love to come back for another stay.

Property was well stocked Host was quick to respond when we had an issue. Washer was fixed in less than 24 hours. Would recommend this property and would love to stay there again.

Convenient spot, house was just right

This is a small property but for us was perfect, 3 adults. Extremely clean, well stocked. House was comfortable. Owner was super with communications and found us an excellent fishing guide that I would highly recommend - New River Gorge Outfitters. The home was close to Pipestem State park and an hour or so from main hiking trails near Fayetteville. Staying in Hinton was perfect for us. Not a lot of restaurants so be sure to bring groceries. There is a Kroger not too far away but we didn't go into it so I don't know much about their selection. Overall a great stay.

Excellent stay! We loved the location; right across the river with a beautiful spot to sit along it. Quiet and close to some hikes. It was about an hour drive to the center of the park. Very clean, well equipped, and lovely home. Thank you for being such a great host, we loved our stay.

What a great host! House was extremely clean and well supplied. Sitting on the front porch and enjoying the river. Awesome place to unwind and reset. Meagan is the best host. My wife truly enjoyed spending her birthday here. We will definitely return.

Sweet place

Everything was very nice and well organized. The only issue was that the water had a VERY strong sulphur smell which did lessen on the 2nd night and day. I’m pretty sure we were the first visitors in awhile and that is why it was so strong.

The residence was clean and the basic necessities were provided. Check-in/out were both easy and the hostess was very responsive to all of our questions and concerns prior to our arrival. Very close to Sandstone Falls. Enjoyed the sounds of the river from the front porch. Thanks for allowing us to stay!

Quiet and quaint

Nothing fancy, but very peaceful and relaxing. The owner left thoughtful touches throughout the house (but bring your own soap and shampoo for the shower). Cleanliness is important to me, and the reviews are what sold me! The interior is pleasant, with no odors, and quite clean.
