A great little place to escape to

A cozy condo just a short walk from driftwood beach. Overall, had a great stay, the bathroom and bedroom were larger than expected and the balcony was nice.

First night we didn’t have power for several hours as there was a huge storm that knocked out half the island but we know that was no fault of the owner. The place was super nice and relaxing. The pool was amazing and the staff around the villas were super friendly.

Cute space, looks like pictures and as described. We could see a small glimpse of the beach from the bedroom window, in between buildings. The balcony is a parking and playground view. The beach area that is in walking distance from the property does not have water acceas, just sand acess. Driftwood beach is the closet beach with water acceas, it is walkabl (a little under a mile), however not our choice for beaching - (there's was people set up on driftwood and in the water). Food options on the island was plentiful, not the best or worst food I ever had. Overall island vibes was great and this was a great home base for our party of 4 two-night stay.

Great location

Great place to get away to the beach. It’s small but cozy and directly across from the beach. Family friendly, playground outside by patio. Very fun.

Golf tournament Indian Mound

Location is great proximity to golf course (and restaurants, market, historic area). Villa was great for our purposes. Bed was comfortable, shower had good pressure and hot water. Kitchenette is well equipped.

Great location, very clean

We traveled to Jekyll Island to watch our son golf in a college tournament. This location was convenient and the unit provided everything we needed for our 4 night stay. Clean and nicely decorated too. We will definitely be back for next year’s tournament!

Great communication and location

The property manager was very prompt in regards to communication. This villa is located in close proximity to Driftwood Beach, Sea Turtle Center, etc. We would recommend this property to others.

Close to Driftwood Beach

I enjoyed my stay in this apartment minutes away from Driftwood Beach. It was exactly as advertised. The internet worked well for my work-remote week. I also enjoyed the short walk to Horton's Pond and the bike rental from the front desk. The owner is very responsive and seemed to want to make my stay special.

Fun Stay in Jekyll Island

Nice condo. Clean, well furnished. Good location near the ocean (to get to the beach, you have a short walk north to Driftwood beach). The condo is fine for 2 people. Jekyll Island is so nice - highly recommend - we did the bike trip around the perimeter of the island - very bike-friendly.

Lovely area

The condo was very clean. Stairwell carpet needs replacement. It doesn’t give the condo a good impression. Location was very good. And we enjoyed the covered area overlooking the beach. The condo itself was very nice especially the bathroom which was updated. Jekyll island is beautiful

Fun stay

It was clean and as described. The property manager was very accessible. When the Wi-Fi went out due a storm, it was promptly fixed. The beach was a close walk. We were glad that we could rent bikes at the facility.

Great location for the island

Why drive when you can walk to Driftwood Beach and Horton Pond every day! We loved this beautiful little apartment. The bed was comfy and clean. Plenty of space in the bathroom. The kitchenette had everything we needed and very clean. I loved having my coffee on the back porch enjoying the view! It's a peaceful area. The owners were quick to respond with my questions before arrival. We'll stay here again if it's available!

Jekyll Island Condo

The unit was in a great location, close to the beach. Well decorated, super clean and offered everything we needed. We would definitely stay there again when on Jekyll Island. The access code and been changed and we had not been notified. Luckily we were able to reach the property manager through VRBO help line and gained access.

They enjoy swimming and relaxing at the beautiful and serene Villas by the Sea beachfront resort, as well as playing golf on the well-managed courses nearby. Squeaky clean, super comfy and totally updated, your cheery, upstairs condo at Villas by the Sea provides the perfect home base for experiencing the coastal way of life that defines Jekyll Island. And since you’re on the top floor, there are no heavy footsteps to be heard overhead during your stay. The Villas resort boasts the Jekyll Island accommodations closest to legendary Driftwood Beach, which is a short walk (just a few hundred yards) up the shoreline. Meanwhile, down by the Villas’ own lengthy stretch of beach, there is a wide, sandy promenade perfect for strolling and sunbathing, as well as an inviting new boardwalk and accompanying pavilion – complete with deck chairs – for getting into the laid-back, Jekyll Island state of mind. (Unit also provides beach chairs, beach umbrellas and beach towels for your use.) The 17-acre Villas resort complex has a large outdoor pool (open 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day; pool towels provided) with an adjoining kiddie pool, picnic area and fire pit. The property also features a basketball half-court, volleyball court, free fitness facility, playground, barbeque grills (with even more picnic tables), coin laundromat, ice and vending machines, bicycle racks, charging stations for electric vehicles (including golf carts), and wireless Internet service.
