On Lake Hatcher! Kayak and fish from your back yard

There are not many homes for rent on Lake Hatcher. The fishing is great and the views are amazing. It's a quiet neighborhood that's also very close to miles of great hiking either at Coyote Hill or Turkey Springs. If outdoor fun is your passion, this is the perfect home. This home has been a rental for a number of years, but is new to VIP Vacation Services.

This is one of the original lakefront cabins on Lake Hatcher. It's a 2 story, 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home. There are views from all sides of the living, dining room and kitchen. The kitchen is fully stocked with newer appliances and plenty of room to cook. The lakeside patio is just a few steps from the kitchen where you have a gas grill, gas firepit and picnic table to enjoy your meals or just enjoy the views. There is also a cozy den with a fire stove, comfy couches and TV. There is always a good amount of wood to start your vacation.

On the main floor, you'll also find the queen bedroom with exterior door that shares a full bathroom in the hall. Upstairs are 2 more bedrooms and a full bath. There is a king bedroom that overlooks the lake and has a workspace desk for those who work while travelling. There is also a bedroom with a full and 2 twins, perfect for the kids. Both bedrooms share a recently remodeled full bathroom.

Fishing on this lake requires a permit for all guests. Please let us know in and we'll make arrangements for your permits to be in your home when you arrive so you won't lose a day on the lake. In the winter, let us know if you're interested in ice fishing. We can set you up with all the gear. Fines will be imposed for fishing without a permit.

The area around this home is flat and perfect for bike riding or morning walks.

All trailers, RV's, campers or other recreation vehicles must be approved prior to arrival to be allowed on premises.

This is a pet friendly home. Dogs only, 2 max. The pet fee is $75 per pet, as well as an additional $100 refundable security deposit per pet.

This home does not have AC

There is no swimming allowed in the lakes

Please note there is a $50 cancellation fee that applies to all cancellations made after booking.

Graduation trip

We very much enjoyed our stay. My boys were thrilled with the fishing and the little row boat. They caught nice size fish but had a blast catch and release. Our liason was most helpful. It's use them again.

Cozy and Convenient cabin

Very nice home in wonderful Pagosa Springs, close to Wolf Creek ski area. The house is comfortable and clean, in a quiet neighborhood. Loved the location and cozy nature of the house.

Spring ski trip

We had a wonderful stay. The house is very clean and the views are stunning over the lake, but in need of some updates. Outside, kitchen and downstairs bath. It is a little further from town than expected, that said the view was worth it and I would definitely stay again.

Peaceful vacation...

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Being by the water and having access to go out on it were great! The kitchen was missing a few items, sponge, better fry pans and cinnamon spice but other than that, it was a very nice place! We loved it!

This property was awesome! My family and I had a great time here! Very clean, cutely decorated, very comfortable beds, and the property management was awesome! Great with communication and instructions! We would definitely stay here again!

Great house in a great location!

We enjoyed our time at Hatcher Lake! The house was in a great location with the needed basics to make traveling with a younger family easier! The house does need some maintenance work and the beds could use updating. The management team was great though! They were very quick to respond with any needs!

The location and views are spectacular!!! The home is comfortable and very comfortably accommodated four women. I would love to see some love given to the home in the way of paint refresh and cleaning. We enjoyed our stay here.

Overall, our experience was good. Our property contact during our stay was wonderful. Natalee was available with a couple of issues and she responded right away. There were a few items that could have made our stay a little more comfortable like a working overhead fan in one of the bedrooms, especially because that room had no screen on the window. It got a little warm. I would also suggest a slightly larger coffee pot. This place has a very small coffee maker so we had to make multiple pots in the mornings

Relaxing weekend

Family of 6 stayed with 2 little dogs. Size was perfect. The guys enjoyed the boat and fishing. Plenty of pots, pans, dishes, and utensils for all of us. Water had good pressure and got hot, just like many of us girls liked it. We loved the sunsets on the patio. Nice walks around quiet neighborhood.

Lake front

Beautiful view! Very cozy house. Nicely decorated. Beds were comfortable. Loved having our dogs with us. Cameras around outside of house which was awkward and made us feel like we didn’t have our privacy. Other then that we had a great stay!

Fabulous lakeside location away from busy tourist area

We thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet of this home. Every amenity we needed was included: gas grill with propane, coffee and filters, fans for white noise, rowboat for lake outings, smart TV for evening movies, board games...this house has it all. Family and friends will be comfortable here-do not hesitate to book! Definitely suggest getting the fishing license- we saw so many fish while standing in the back yard!
