Hanalei Bay Resort unit 7102 "OluKai Suite" is a privately owned and cared for one bedroom suite featuring countless amenities to please every guest. The condo features 1,180 square feet of spacious living area, with quality, tropically-themed furnishings throughout. This unit was renovated December 2014 with tile flooring throughout, new cabinets and granite in the kitchen and bathroom, and other luxury items. You will have many new amenities to look forward to!

This unit is a lockoff style room. Similar to an adjoining hotel room with a double door. I have extra sound proofing material on both doors to keep the room nice and quiet.

🌺HBR charges a one time $50 check in fee plus $25 per night resort fee and $20 parking per night. This is paid directly to the front desk at check in.🌺

You'll be amazed by the mesmerizing views over Bali Hai and Hanalei Bay! I also provide a variety of beach gear (such as coolers, chairs, boogie boards, and more) for your adventures around the island.

Beautiful resort!

Loved our stay at Hanalei Bay Resort! Our condo had everything we needed. Very clean and the bed was comfortable. Beach chairs, umbrella, coolers all available for use. Having a washer/dryer was great. The property is beautiful with a multitude of different flowering plants everywhere you look. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Wonderful Norrh Shore Experience

What a magical place! Jeff's condo was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The king bed might be the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. The washer/dryer combo in the unit was also a huge bonus! We would absolutely stay here again.

Excellent times

We loved our time here. The place was better than advertised. We enjoyed time on the beach (using the provided beach chairs), and snorkeling. There were sea turtles in the coral reef right off the beach by the equipment rental stand. The nene’s and roosters were also very friendly and entertaining.

Great getaway!

We had a lovely time - the place is perfect with easy access to the beach by the 1 hotel and great walking within princeville. The hotel were very nice to have too - bbq, hot tub, pool, towels, etc!

Great unit at HBR

Beautiful location. Great well kept unit with all the amenities. Nice Weber grills on site that we used to grill dinner several nights. Jeff the owner was fantastic. We’ll definitely be back.

Beautiful views!!

Everything we needed was provided, well appointed furnishings with new kitchen and bath. The resort pool and beach are amazing!! The North Shore is now our favorite part of Kauai

Amazing stay

This unit is perfect place to feel like you have your own little home in Kauai. Located at the Hanalei Bay Resort but with a nice kitchen and living area and a nice size patio with views that are so much better in person. Highly recommended.

fantastic honeymoon

Wow, this place is AMAZING. So clean and way bigger is person than the pictures articulate. The condo was extremely clean, as well as the resort it was on. We would absolutely stay here again should we have the chance, and I would recommend this place to everyone!

Perfect stay in Paradise

One of the best condos we’ve ever stayed at. The views are absolutely stunning. They condo is comfortable and spacious. They had absolutely everything we needed, and the golf cart service was welcome at this very hilly property. Communication with Jeff was absolutely flawless. Wonderful!

Beautiful place!

We had the best time with our 5 & 8 year old here. So many thoughtful things left in the condo to entertain them at the beach. The king bed was so comfortable and we felt very at home during our stay. The condo building is at the end and we felt like were at the edge of the rainforest with no one else around. About a 10 min walk to the beach but definitely worth it. It is so beautiful everywhere you look up north. The pool and resort are also so fun and well taken care of.

Family adventures

We loved this spacious, quiet condo to start quiet mornings with coffee and rainbows on the lanai, and finish our day with a dip in the resort pool or quick trip to the beach to watch the sunset. Kitchen was very well- appointed. It was super to have full size laundry machines and the pull out couch was very comfortable. We loved it!

Amazing location, view and ammenities

We loved Jeff's property on HBR. The location was perfect, we liked being on the edge of the property because it was super private, but when we needed to haul gear to and from cars, golf cart bell men were there with a quick phone call. Walking access to the beach is quite unique and we were happy to take advantage of that. Amazing resort and unit, we would love to get back there eventually!

Excellent Princeville Condo

This is a great condo resort in an excellent location about Hanalei Bay with beautiful view.. It is far down a hill but the golf cart service was readily available and quick. Unit was spacious, well appointed, and appeared recently refurbished. Unfortunately our three days were a bit rainy, but still enjoyable. The resort management was a bit testy at times since they take little responsibility for private owner units. We did miss a safe in the room for valuables.

Great location and fun resort

Loved the combination of tennis, beauty, ease, and location of Hanalei Bay Resort. Lisa was great at getting in touch and made it possible for me to drop my luggage into the unit a bit earlier in the day so that I could settle into the unit. I appreciated having a fully stocked kitchen in terms of supplies as well as laundry in the unit. It was very clean and easy to socialize with our friends who stayed in another building at the resort. Had a blast reigniting my tennis game with tennis clinic every morning. So much so that I decided to extend my stay on the island and go back to HBR for two nights to connect with other friends who are staying at HBR, as well. Great resort and Lisa was kind to work with as an owner.

Wonderful family vacation

This was a wonderfully place to stay on the North Shore. The scenery was unbelievably beautiful and the condo was a 10min walk to the beach along a paved path from the condo (conveniently an outdoor shower/foot rinse spicket is located where the path begins at the edge of the condo property). The condo has 2 pools, a hot tub, a new pizza restaurant and a bar/restaurant on site. Several restaurants and food trucks are located 10min away in Hanalei. The condo owner checked in several times before our trip and gave recommendations on food and activities. The condo was incredibly clean and quiet. The kitchen was well equipped with pots/pans/dishesfour eating in the condo. The condo came with 4 beach chairs, 2 beach umbrellas, 2 mats for sitting on in the sand, a cooler, and a boogie board that my teenagers used at every opportunity. We found the location perfect for a quiet, gorgeous setting and we drove to the more tourist locations on the east and south end of the island for touristy activities. The beach located at the end of the path by the hotel is quiet and a sandy with giant shade trees (it's a 10min walk down a paved path which does require a walk back up the hill- though the resort will happily drive you to/ from the beach in golf carts! There is a phone located at the bottom of the hill where the path ends that you use to call the front desk and they send a golf cart your way). This beach is perfect for splashing in. For bigger waves and boogie boarding, I would suggest the 10min drive into Hanalei for the public beaches there. You will find several parking lots with bathrooms and several manned life guards stations. We saw people surfing, kids of all ages wading in the water, and the beach is all sand. This condo is located on the corner of the property and is especially quiet. We used the patio and loved that it was ground level as it made the patio feel especially large. The view for sunsets and star gazing were perfect from this location.

Quiet and comfortable with a nice view

Pros: Owner was a great person to work with from initial inquiry through the stay; she was super responsive and efficient. The condo description and pictures accurately depicted the rental unit. The unit was quiet with a very nice view. It was clean, well maintained, and spacious enough for 3 of us (2 adults, 1 child). The bedroom was large, the king size bed was very comfortable; the kitchen well stocked with almost every utensil you could think of, and having a dishwasher, and washer/dryer in the unit was great. There were also 2 air conditioners: one in the living room and one in the bedroom. There were also beach chairs, boogie boards, coolers, and other beach items readily available which was an added benefit. The location of the resort is also very nice and convenient to many nearby attractions. Cons: The fold away twin bed was very springy and required extra blankets under the sheets in order to be relatively comfortable. Because of that, I would say the unit is better suited for 2 people rather than 3 if you have all adults. And despite knowing that the unit was on the edge of the property as it was described, it was a bit of a walk each time you came and went from the property. There are golf carts that will take you to and fro but sometimes it's not worth the hassle to wait around. During our stay, the main a/c unit completely broke but the owner responded immediately and within 36 hours of our reporting the problem, a brand new unit was installed. The only other issue was the Hanalei Bay Resort property renovation which affected the overall experience. Not only was the Happy Talk Lounge and Bali Hai restaurant closed, but they are upgrading other areas as well. Among other things, there was a temporary main lobby, no fitness center, and the main swimming pool filtration system was being upgraded so the pool water was cloudy and green. The resort said the water was tested and met all Department of Health Standards and, therefore, swimming was okay. However the check in staff led us to believe it would only last a day or two, but the pool was like this during our entire 10 day stay (and apparently had been at least since 7/13 according to a trip advisor review). Although that is beyond the parameters of the condo rental and the owner's control, it still impacted our overall resort experience, especially when you are paying daily resort fees. Despite these issues, I would still highly recommend this property and would stay again.

Great Getaway

We had an incredible stay and Jeff's communication was great. Can't beat the location and the views of Hanalei Bay were exceptional. The condo was clean and had plenty of amenities. The resort's pool was really nice and grounds were well-maintained which included a beach access trail. The kitchen was well-stocked and having a laundry machine and dryer was a major plus. The bed was a little soft for our taste, but we still slept comfortably. Being on the edge of the resort, the unit feels extremely private and is quiet. Short drive to the grocery store and nearby beaches/towns. Highly recommend!
