Prepare to relax in this comfortable condo, decorated in the style of a contemporary beach house. Driftwood-style wood paneling, bright touches, and a lovingly furnished patio set this space apart! Central air conditioning inside will keep everyone comfortable inside and ocean views come easy. The full kitchen features full-size appliances for guest use, including a dishwasher for quick cleanup. Each bedroom is comfortably furnished with its own beach-centered color scheme, and younger guests can relax in built-in hallway bunk beds (each with their own reading lamp). The main bedroom features a desk workspace for guests that work remotely, in addition to a private entrance to the patio and an en suite bathroom featuring two vanities, a standalone shower, and a soaking tub. Guests can also enjoy access to shared amenities during their stay, including a shared outdoor pool, outdoor shower, and fitness center.

Family trip

1st floor condo although you don’t have views from your room it’s so convent to the pool and beach. No tugging everything up and down elevators with 4 kids all 6 and under. Shower in master suite could be a lil more powerful and WiFi gave us a lil bit of some issues. But was a great trip.

Great week!

We had a wonderful stay! Staff was very responsive when we had a slight hiccup with the microwave and had a quick solution to the issue. Loved the convenience of have the beach and pool just a few steps from the room.

THOROUGH CLEANING NEEDED

The property overall is nice. The photos on the website need updating though as the property is slightly different. But my biggest complaint is the property inside is very dirty. And the huge roach looking bugs were a concern. Within 10 minutes of getting there I saw one inside and then it happened again. Tried texting the Vacasa people about it but no one responded or the following day. Pretty gross. The front door does not fully seal it didn’t look like so I assume the bugs get in through there. Also, the sink drain we had to keep pouring soap in and hot water and running the disposal to rid the smell of fish. I guess a previous guest cleaned fish in the sink and the smell lingered. The condo needs a thorough cleaning top to bottom. For the price, I would recommend looking elsewhere as I am sure there are better properties. I just don’t feel we got our money’s worth. Cleanliness is a huge deal for us and there were too many issues with it.

Great Little Condo

We loved this condo! It is nearly perfect. The beds were super comfortable, clean and the pillows were great. The condo is well appointed and has plenty of furniture for a family to enjoy. We did not cook so I can't comment on the kitchen supplies. Everything was very clean and good quality. The entry door has a coded entry which is very handy when you have multiple people. This is our first experience being on the ground floor and it will be hard to go back to a higher floor. It is amazingly convenient to just walk out of your door and be ready to head to the beach and pool and you are not dragging wet/sandy chairs through the condo to the balcony. As an extra perk, the grass is a great way to get the sand off before you go inside. Just a couple of suggestions would be towel racks in the two smaller bathrooms and mirrors in the bedrooms. A heads up, the picture shows more patio furniture than there actually is, we made it work by using our beach chairs but this may need to be addressed at some point. Overall, this was an amazing trip and this condo is wonderful!!

Extremely Upset!!

We have stayed at Waters Edge for about 8 years now!! Previously had stayed in this one. But on this stay we had to kill a roach. Found several other dead roaches in the condo during our stay. If everything wasn’t booked already we would have left. Just very disappointed this trip. No reason to not spray your property often!! But the cleanliness could have also been the issue!! It wasn’t cleaned very well. When we called to let them know about the live roach they told us to get some bug spray!! No this is not the way you take care of customers!! Never again!!!

Spring Break

This condo was absolutely perfect for the 7 of us. I have never stayed in a ground level condo. After staying here, I never want to stay in one that’s not ground level. The ease of walking straight out to the beach and pool was perfection! We did have an A/C problem. The A/C did not work for the first 24 hours. It did take lots of calling and sitting on the phone to get it fixed. The air was fixed by 5pm on the second day. I was refunded a nights stay so the company made sure I was happy.

Super cute place

We all enjoyed our stay at this beautiful place! It was plenty of space for everyone to get ready (especially when it’s five girls)!! We loved how it’s close to everything and how you can walk outside and be right at the beach! Highly recommend and we have talked about coming back when it’s warmer!!!

Just okay

This unit is in need of some up keep. You can tell it has some wear and tear on it. Most concerning is that the entrance door does not have a deadbolt...they have left a 2x4 piece of lumber to place in front of the door and wall to secure the door. Now for as much as this unit cost to stay in, I would think you would have an appropriate locking system. It could also use a deep cleaning, everything is sticky and grimy. The condo is very roomy, and great location to the beach and pool areas. You do have some view even being on the first floor, also great to just park and walk straight in.

Perfect location

Steps from beach at pool. Corner lot, so you’re not closed in. Beach views right from the patio. Grassy area for kids to play. Hassle free check in and check. Will definitely be returning!

Perfect condo, location and weather

Our group was in town for a wedding. We had a large group that filled the whole space and we felt like we still had room to spread out. The outside patio and corner unit was very nice, as it makes you feel like you have that much more space!! We loved the fact that we were so close to the beach and pool! Check in/out was such an easy process. We received almost daily check ups from the property manager to make sure everything was okay. We will definitely be booking again!!

Great location!

Spacious and very comfortable for our family and it’s only a few steps away from the beach and pool. Love the location and will definitely return.

Hands down best location

This condo had the absolute best location. Being on the first floor, made beach access and going back and forth to the condo so easy. There were 3 rooms between this end unit and the walkway to the sand. We loved the back porch table and chairs. Made feeding the kiddos lunch so easy! The grass and gazebo made the view so pleasant. You could see a sliver of the ocean from the unit itself. You couldn’t see the sand but I liked that because you didn’t see any people on the beach. Just ocean. It was clean, not the cleanest. Beds weren’t that comfy but they were ok. The location made the whole trip though!

Quick getaway

We had to come to Fort Walton for a soccer tournament. We arrived before checkin and we were allowed to use all of the amenities. The staff was friendly and helpful and the rooms were spacious and very clean. It felt safe and we had great family time. We will be staying again!

Great location, great condo

Perfect first floor location steps from pool and beach. Had a problem with air conditioner not working first four days, BUT they were very responsive and had people there working on it every day. Ended up having to rewire and put in new transformers so not exactly an easy fix.

Very clean

In-laws own a condo at waters edge and we stay in the building often, in different rentals. This is the cleanest unit we’ve rented. But it did not have kitchen wash clothes or towels and the utinsil spoons were so flimsy I couldn’t stir noodles…

Everything About This Place Was *Chef's Kiss*

I was nervous to book this place as it had ZERO reviews but took a chance and I'm so happy I did! Upon arriving at the building, we noticed there was plenty of parking, carts were readily available for getting our bags to the room, and check-in was a breeze. The condo was immaculate, decorated beautifully, and there is SO much space and storage. Beds were comfortable, internet/wifi never dropped, and the patio furniture was high quality compared to other rooms that I could see. Access to the beach and pool were only a few rooms down and a vending machine for drinks and bagged ice is available. The grounds around the entirety of the building were almost spotless. My favorite thing about this condo was the view. This room is on the bottom floor so you would think you couldn't see much but we could still see the ocean, the dunes, and there was a nice grassy area with a gazebo that we enjoyed that was open to all guests. The room is also on the corner so we felt we had a bit more privacy than some of the other condos there. It was so easy to social distance here while enjoying time away. I will be visiting again!
