The Space:

This adorable bungalow is located in beautiful Dover Bay, just a short walk to the Marina and has everything you need to relax and enjoy lake time!  43 Welty Drive is a one-bedroom plus lofted-bedroom bungalow located just a stone's throw from the Dover Bay Marina where you will find boat parking, a convenience store, Dover Bay Beach and the delicious DISH Restaurant and Bar. Explore the 9 miles of walking trails and the 9 acres of park areas within the development. Bring your camera! This fully appointed 2 bedroom, 2 bath home boasts charming, well thought of furnishings, a gas fireplace, vaulted ceiling and comfortable sleeping for 5. Outside is a nice, covered porch with a gas BBQ and seating for those outdoor summer meals.



The Dover Bay Resort offers a wide range of amenities including a Marina, convenience store, and miles of walking and biking trails.  Marina slips and trailer parking are available separately and privately managed by Dover Bay.  Balto Dog Park offers a beach and swimming area, along with a small playground and restrooms.



Note:  Lake Club Fitness is privately owned and is unfortunately not open to vacation rental guests at this home.



This is a pet friendly home and up to 2 dogs are welcome for an additional pet fee.

Great location but definitely smelled like smokers and was advertised as non smoking unit. Downstairs shower had no window covering which made showering awkward.

Awesome get away.

This was a nice place to spend our time away from home. The home was in a nice neighborhood and away from the Hussle and brussel of the town. The property was very well kept and the house was extremely clean.

Sisters Trip to Sandpoint

The VRBO was clean and on a perfect location for walks and close to downtown. Kayacking was terrific.

Great place!

Friendly neighbors, lots to do in town! Go to the Creative Art place right in downtown Sandpoint if you have kids. It’s a FANTASTIC place! There also is Dover Beach within walking distance with a small playground. The beach in downtown Sandpoint is also super awesome with a nice playground! There are nice hiking trails right by Schweitzer ski area.

Cute place, but

We love Dover Bay and have stayed in many bungalows. This was our first time staying in this one and also through this management company. It was advertised as housing 6 people. We were a family of 4 so it seemed perfect with the loft. Check-in process and access to the property was smooth, even when we locked ourselves out with the automatic locking system. The place is clean, nicely furnished, but there were a few things I wish I would have known ahead of time. It was advertised as having kitchen items with the exception of spices, etc. - the items you would expect to bring with you. That was not the case. It had the BARE minimum kitchen items, and that is generous. For a cabin advertised for 6 guests, there was no way to cook and serve for 6. 4 plates, 4 bowls, and no serving bowls at all. Prepping food was not a possibility. There wasn’t even a cutting board and nothing beyond a steak knife (hello watermelon to cut?!) A salad would have to be served in a pot?! The AC didn’t work at all. We dealt with it the 1st evening, and then we didn’t sleep. We were all hot. The upstairs was 85+ where our kiddos slept. After the 1st day experience, we were frustrated, but in the morning we decided to call. The Management company was great! They heard our concerns and dealt with them. By the end of the day, they brought in a knife set, cutting boards, serving bowls, all brand new. After that they out in a ticket and a portable AC unit was also brought in which helped a ton. If we had known about the kitchen, I gladly would have packed more, this is where the listing could have used a better description and transparency about what they had on site. The saving grace was that the company was helpful and responsive. This is a great place and the neighbors were also great. More so, we were VERY impressed with the response to the needs. This sort of care and response I’d impressive and the kindness and understanding for the hiccups was appreciated.
