The Rambler is a unique midcentury home curated intentionally for our guests. You can't find a cooler spot to gather with your favorite people and find so many things to do and enjoy under one roof year round!

The Rambler was gorgeous! Such a fun house to stay in while we were visiting our family. The house was spotless, everything was easy to access and clearly labeled, and the beds were very comfortable. The heated floors were a nice bonus during a very cold winter. Would have loved the outdoors spaces in warmer months.

Our family has now stayed 3 times at your beautiful Rambler! We love the easy access to downtown Ashland, the clean & spacious rooms! We especially enjoyed the games provided & we spent many happy hours celebrating the New Year with our family! We appreciated the prompt communications with our host as well! We will definitely be staying at The Rambler again!

The house was in great condition and very clean. We enjoyed playing pool in the big open room with the pretty view. The kitchen was well equipped, and it was especially nice to have a laundry room.

The Rambler is an AMAZING home-away-from-home! It is very roomy and comfortable in a quiet, beautiful neighborhood. Aubrey and Aaron have decorated in such a fun, colorful way with great large and small touches. It was also so appreciated to have a nice selection of coffees and teas available as well as the necessary filters and coffee makers on hand. There was also a great variety of quick breakfast items and some yummy snacks. All info was presented in an easy-to-use book. Aubrey answered my questions quickly via the VRBO app. Would HIGHLY recommend!

Great stay!

In town for a family wedding and needed a place for our family. The Rambler didn't disappoint. We loved the neighborhood and location. The house lived up to the retro vibe and we enjoyed the amenities and property. We would definitely stay there again.

Great VRBO

This is a great place, with everything your family and/or friends could want. The decor is retro and adorable. Any communications were promptly addressed. You will not be disappointed if you book this place. The yard is super size and nicely appointed. Lots of extras for the guest.

What a beautiful home and yard that backs to woods! We truly enjoyed it! It is a lovely property, spacious and clean. We loved the total privacy of the home and back yard. The mattresses are very comfortable! We slept well.

Great house, amazing vibe!

Our group stayed in Ashland for a softball tournament! I was so happy to find this home, the modern retro vibe was so fun. This home was perfect for our group, the amazing backyard was perfect for playing games and the nature trail also was such a pleasant surprise. This home really matched every need our group had during our stay. Thank you for such an enjoyable stay!

Wonderful family space!

This was such a comfortable space to stay in. Lots of room between the yard and the living space. We enjoyed using the pool table. Fun decoration and a wonderful neighborhood. We will be back!

We loved "The Rambler

6 girlfriends gathered from Indiana, Michigan, Kentucky, Georgia, and Texas to celebrate our collective 80th birthday. The house was perfect!!! So comfortable and well equipped. We graduated from Ashland Highschool in 1963 and love our regular get togethers. Thanks for making it so special!

Rambler wedding stay!

This place was perfect!! It exceeded our expectations. The house is beautiful and everyone loved the retro touch. They provided everything you could need. Plenty of towels, blankets, pillows for all. They provided coffee and snacks which the kids loved. The neighborhood is gorgeous with plenty of privacy. There are trails behind the house in the green space and again the kids loved having that place to play. All the neighbors were friendly and exactly the small town feel we were hoping for. Cannot say enough great things about the Rambler!! Would absolutely book again!!

Great family stay

Get together with extended family. Everyone had a great time. The multiple options in and outdoor gave everyone plenty of room to spread out and still socialize.Well appointed kitchen.Sheets were soft and the heated floors were a fun surprise.

Amazing location and stay, despite lack of communication

The property is amazing! Stay here! Lovely, clean accommodations, large bedrooms, I loved the woods, the amazing neighborhood, and easy walk to AU. Our family of 10 stayed here comfortably. The piano was out of tune which was a real bummer, and hostess was not communicative during our stay. But on the whole, we would definitely book again!

Family girls getaway for the 6 of us. What a beautiful home. Great location for wineries and restaurants. Loved the heated floors on a cold weekend. Great communication with owner. Clean well equiped home.

Excellent Family Gathering Place

We came to Ashland to celebrate an early Christmas with family with 7 out of town family members. The Rambler was perfect in terms of space, fully equipped kitchen, ample bedrooms and bathrooms with plenty of supplies. The retro and music-themed decor of the Rambler was so unique too! We had a wonderful stay and will be back for sure!

The house was just what we needed for a large family gathering. Plenty of room, inside and outside. The location was super nice in a very well established neighborhood with lots of room for parking several cars. Would definitely use on a return visit.

Perfect location and accommodations

There were 4 of us and we found the house welcoming, clean, and comfortable. We loved the retro look and amenities. The yard was expansive with trails. We would stay here next time we're in the area.

Great stay

We were in town for a softball tournament, our stay was great! House was clean, well decorated and accommodating to a few families. Enjoyed the spaciousness of the house, and outdoor space. Would definitely stay here again if needed!

Everything we expected and more. Great place in a great neighborhood. Will rent again for next year’s trip. Golf course actually across the street 3 minutes drive to a great course. Every thing you need to cook with and decor was fantastic. Solo stove fire in the evening topped it off.

Fabulous setting for a family gathering

Beautiful home in a lovely neighborhood. We appreciated the great outdoor space for dining, the well-appointed kitchen, and living space for lounging and gaming. Just wish we had had more time to spend at the house!

Aaron and Aubrey are mult-hyphenates as serial-entrepreneurs, community-centered, family-focused, adventurers and embracers of the fulness of life. They are ramblers in the truest sense of the word. A rambler is one who wanders, but not without direction. Ramblers take the paths that appear to them, not needing a map, not within a time-frame. The way appears before them and they step upon it. Each path, each vista, more expansive to the soul than the one before. From the outside looking in, their way may not make sense. It may appear crazy, even. But the rambler IS on a path-- usually one of his own making. Aaron and Aubrey have 3 teenage children who journey with them, as well as a dog, 3 cats and a turtle. They invite you into their Rambler- a place that provides a sense of home base where journeying can happen without needing to travel far.
