Enjoy cabin life in this newly built lake front cabin in a quiet bay of North Star Lake in Marcell, MN. Beautifully decorated with all the conveniences. Cabin sits on 4 acres of property bordering 70,000 acres of public land ensuring privacy.

Cabin Includes:
• 2 Bedrooms with California king beds
• Sleeper sofa
• Murphy Hutch bed in a very private area of the rec room
• 2 beautiful bathrooms with tiled showers
• Kitchen with granite counters, new appliances including dishwasher, coffee pot, microware
• Rec room with pool table
• Open floor plan with large spacious dining and living areas
• In-floor heating as well as two half split units for heating and cooling
• Sit on the patio and enjoy the beautiful view of the lake or have a campfire while enjoying the spectacular view of the stars.
• Complete with dock to make your boating or fishing convenient. The bench on the dock is a nice way to enjoy your morning coffee while watching a variety of animals including beavers, swans and an occasional otter sighting.


North Star Lake is known for it's spectacular views and great fishing. Close to many other lakes holding numerous species of fish including walleyes, bass, musky, northern, lake trout, crappies and panfish.

This is great base in the winter as you explore the hundreds of miles of snowmobile trails or in the summer to hike and explore the thousands of acres of public land.

Incredible stay! Great cabin, great views, great time. Everything you need for a comfortable getaway is here. We were able to enjoy the entire lake by boat. So many areas to fish and explore! Hope to come back this way again!

What a memorable and beautiful experience. The hosts are wonderful. They are quick to communicate and text to warn you of potential problems. This was the most fully stocked and anticipatoryly (if that is a word) stocked home - almost anything you need is there. The home is beautiful, comfortable, and spacious. The views are tremendous. We hope to be back, this is the place we will book.

Amazing!!

The cabin was amazing! Everything is very modern in the cabin, all the appliances made our stay very convient and comfortable! The cabin is nicely secluded with woods all around and access to the lake. Fishing was pretty fun!

Incredible cabin

Not only is this cabin beautifully decorated, it is perfectly cleaned. Spotless, really. And entirely dog friend, with an open floor plan and nothing extra laying around for a dog to get into. The view is lovely, too!

Amazing cabin & property!! The pictures do not do it justice. This cabin had everything you could possibly need - from cookware to utensils, cozy blankets and games, puzzles, books and all the space inside and out to enjoy it!!The trek up and down to the lake/dock is well worth the view, serenity, and recreation opportunities. If you’re looking for the perfect ‘up north’ get away— this is the spot!

Amazing view!

Very nice cabin overlooking the lake. Having a dock was great and Joe was able to direct me somewhere that I could rent a boat for our stay. Nice, secluded area with a small town not too far away and a larger town about a half hour away to get anything we needed. Would definitely stay here again!

We stayed four weeks and enjoyed every day of it. The house is beautiful and comfortable. The view is pretty spectacular. It's one that you'll never get tired of.

We have vacationed at many VRBO's and this cabin was by far one the best! You will lack for nothing in this extremely well appointed and furnished cabin. Just bring your family and friends (furry ones too!) and enjoy the spectacular view of North Star Lake from cabin or patio. The owners have thought of everything, so you can just enjoy your stay. The cabin is even bigger than the pictures represent as is the yard. Our dogs LOVED being able to wander the yard and get lots of sniffs and zoomies. There are no nearby neighbors so your privacy is guaranteed. The pool table was a huge hit with our boys as was the yard where they could toss the football and play yard games. Beds, bedding, furniture were very comfortable and the couch/chair blankets were the coziest! Great bathrooms and full laundry room access made our stay very convenient and comfortable. Access to the lake is a bit of trek down a steep wooded path and several flights of stairs, so if you have any mobility challenges plan ahead. This is true for most properties on North Star Lake where steep lake banks are common. Trade off is sweeping views of the lake. We brought our own fishing boat so the dock with built in bumpers was greatly appreciated and easy to use. Owners provide two kayaks and a canoe for your use which is perfect for the bays you have access to, but as we had our own boat never used. Hosts are very good with communication and extremely accommodating. A great place to vacation in Marcell area!

We had a wonderful almost full week here. Joe was so helpful and kind. The cabin is stunning, very clean, and fully stocked with anything you could think you would need. We clearly over packed. It’s open & pet friendly. There were a lot of stairs to the dock, but good exercise and the cabin and yard (patio/grill/sitting area with large umbrella/fire pit) and all the amenities more than make up for it. We can’t wait to go back.

Wonderful Cabin

Wonderful stay, my parents, kids, husband and I all had a wonderful stay. The view was beautiful. There was plenty of room for all of us. There was a lot of towels and amenities. It was great. Thank you for opening this home it was perfect and we will be booking this location for future events

Great property on a quiet part of the lake.

Fabulous! Beds were comfy, property super spacious. Very quiet part of the lake and you get your workout in on the steps :). Kitchen was very well equipped; it had everything we needed. Very easy access to property off 38. We would rent this again. That's always my gold star rating.

Fantastic week!

Our son was getting married in Big Fork so we decided to make a vacation out of it. This VRBO appears to be a newer build. Huge kitchen, nice patio, washer/dryer. It had all the amenities you could want. The views of the lake are beautiful and a couple people in our group caught some nice sized fish. Owners were good to work with. Highly recommend!

Great location. Super property!

We spent a wonderful long weekend at this property in the Chippewa National Forest. The cabin has everything you could possibly need, plenty of comfortable sleeping options, and a lovely perch above a lake. We were there through two big snowstorms, so we snowshoed and skied and had lots of snowball fights. When we were too cold to be outside, the cozy cabin welcomed us in with warm floors, lots of TV options, and a pool table! We would highly recommend staying here if you're in the Marcell area!

Incredible Cabin!

I could not believe how beautiful and well-appointed this cabin is! Our family absolutely loved this place! We fished, kayaked, canoed to our heart's content outside. Inside, we cooked, streamed movies, played games, did puzzles- everything inside is immaculate. The hosts were incredibly responsive throughout the whole process, I will be sharing this information and recommend to friends and family.

Wonderful relaxing vacation!

This was such a wonderful cabin to stay in! Relaxing and serene! Our kids loved beating us in a game of pool! We brought two kayaks and a boat with. They have a canoe and two kayaks as well. We did a lot of fishing and made our catch the last night. We highly recommend staying here! Everything is stocked so well and nice and clean! Thank you again for opening your cabin up to us for some much needed R & R!
