El Yunque, Breath Taking Views and Sunsets
Traditional 1 bedroom casita (off of the main house) outside of the city up in the PR mountain. Enjoy the view and quiet, sitting outside overlooking the Atlantic coastline, listening to the coquis. You will be close to the El Yunque National Forest. The home is gated for privacy and security. The casita has a kitchen for all your kitchen needs. This 1 bedroom is ideal for a couple or one with younger children. Please reach out to us if you have questions before booking.
You are welcome to use the covered, outdoor area. This area is shared with the house so please remember to pick up after yourself. If you use the pool table or other items in this area please leave it the way you found it. Pool table must be covered every evening as rain will ruin it.
Your welcome to any fruit on the property, but please only pick or take what you will eat.
Included are Roku TV in all bedrooms and the Bar, Cooling pool, Pool Table, Darts, evening dance lighting in Bar, covered eating outdoor eating area, gas stoves, there is fruit growing on the property you are welcome too if it is in season, and many other amenities!
Also remember your in the rain forest, your will have see things that live in the rain forest. While we try to keep them out of the house sometimes they get in. In trying to preserve the environment we try not to use chemicals. Please make sure to keep the door closed so things can’t get in.
Your welcome to use the whole casita. You can also use the area that is covered below.This is a shared area so if guest are in the main house please be respectful of them.
We are not on site, we are sometimes there in the main house. If we are there we would love to visit with you or try to help with any questions about the island. If something requires us, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We have Jose and Dianna who manage the property and you may see them or meet them during your stay.
We are up in the hills away from the hustle and bustle. It is about 15 min to town and the Walmart, grocery store. We recommend stopping and getting groceries on your way to the house. Our house is in a neighborhood of friendly people.
You must have a car to get around. Public transportation is almost non existent on the island. They are easy to pick up at the airport. They do have some taxi services in the area.
On rare occasion the power may go out. We have a back up generator in the event that a outage last for more than several hours. The water system is a combination system reclaiming rain and supplemented by city provided water. There is enough water, however conservation is a must to assure during the summer with low rainfall you do not run out. In the unlikely event this happens contact us and we will work on a solution.

Renters/Guests will abide by the following:
No smoking of any kind inside the residence. You may smoke in the outdoor bar area and must dispose of all smoking material in a safe and clean manner.
Complaints by neighbors or local authorities will be a violation of the rental agreement and could result in immediate removal from the property. These complaints will be evaluated by the property owner and sole determination of removal shall be the property owner’s decision.
Evening
Evening Puerto Rico Noise Rules
10pm weekdays
12pm weekends.
If any neighbor reports excessive noise, the rental agreement could be terminated, and you will be asked to leave the property. If this occurs, it will result in the loss of your rental amount.
A maximum of 2 visitors is allowed during the day. Any overnight visitors must be approved by the owners and will be charged an extra fee. This will only be considered if the home has enough sleeping facilities to accommodate guests.
Guests to the property are responsible for themselves, other registered guests, and any unregistered visitors. The booking guest is responsible for the costs of any damages or complaints that occur while occupying the premises.
Parties are not allowed!
Any small gatherings are restricted to 6 people in total and must comply with all rental agreement terms and house rules.
The house is for guests only; those on the rental agreement, bringing others to the house will result in immediate termination of the rental. The owner may be contacted, and arrangements for additional people on the property are at the sole discretion of the landlord.
Disabling the Alarm, external video cameras, or the Wi-Fi system will terminate the rental agreement immediately!
Turn pool lights off when not using the pool and other bar lights at night.
If you have children, they must always be supervised. When children are in or near the pool, they must always be supervised by a responsible adult!
Check-in is at 4:00 pm, and check-out is at 11:00 am, no exceptions unless prior approval is obtained from the owner.
Excessive intoxication is not allowed!
Forcing entry into locked areas is strictly prohibited.
Parking is allowed in the driveways. No parking is allowed on the street.
The driveway gates will remain closed while on or off the premises unless moving vehicles in or out of the driveway.
Completing the pre-checkout cleaning is required. All trash will be disposed of in the kitchen trash can or at the street-side trash area.
We have a backup generator. Do not attempt to manipulate the generator system or controls in any way. The water system is a combination system that reclaims rain and is supplemented by city-provided water. There is enough water, however, conservation is strongly encouraged to ensure that during the summer, you do not run out. In the very unlikely event this happens, contact us and we will work on a solution.
Please remember to treat our home like your own home. When checking out, please remember to leave the key and gate opener. There will be a ($200) fee for taking it with you.
Before leaving, pick up the open shared area outside. Stay out of locked areas. Please remember the house is in a neighborhood, and be respectful of neighbors.
Pick up after yourself in the bar area, cover the pool table when you aren`t using it, and leave things how you found them..
Turn the A/C off when checking out! Also, if you have opened any windows, make sure to close them.
Before checking out, make sure to do your dishes and put them away. The cleaning fee does not include doing dishes, there will be a $50 fee added for dishes not done.
