There's a space for everybody, office for work from home, gym area for workout, children's reading corner, & board games lounge. Located centrally between Enloe medical center, CSU Chico, and Bidwell Park.

SPACIOUS - 2,000+ sqft on expansive 9,000+ sqft lot. 4 bedrooms, living room, eat-in chef's counter, formal dining room, gym area, board game lounge and a huge backyard.

WORK FROM HOME - Work from home corner allows you to play and work. Connect to our fast WiFi for your Zoom meetings. (400 Mbps down / 10 Mbps up)

CHILDREN'S READING CORNER - Cuddle up with favorite characters while reading childhood classics such as Corduroy, Calvin and Hobbes, Arthur, or Disney stories.

Our neighbors are very particular and vocal about parking. Our driveway can accommodate 3 cars (2 tandem and 1 offset to the right utilizing the pathway in front of the porch). Please be sure to not block the sidewalk as you may be cited by local authorities. The curb in front of the house is also available. 4 cars will be able to fit comfortably. Please do not park in front of neighbors' houses.

The house is darling, and very spacious. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for our extended family of 9. The kitchen was well stocked, the house was very clean, and had plenty of extra linens & towels. The hosts were very responsive in answering questions prior to our stay. We would stay there again when visiting our daughter in Chico.

Great Spot for Family to Gather

We recently rented this property for our family to stay to attend my daughter's bridal shower taking place in Chico. It was perfect for our needs and had plenty of room for our group. I would definitely stay here again!

Great Place for Friends and Families!

Cute, updated, and comfortable place for we six girlfriends to stay! Plenty of beds with comfortable mattresses and plenty of towels too! We enjoyed the location! Close to downtown and Bidwell Park! We would recommend staying here to any group of friends or families!

Adorable house in the Avenues

We stayed with multiple couples and we all felt like we had enough space to comfortably relax. Such a wonderful space for hanging out with friends. It had a great outdoor space and 3 bathrooms. Overall a wonderful stay.

Perfect place for family

The house was lovely and had everything we needed and more. It was perfect for the 6 adults. We came to build a wheelchair ramp for our brother who lives in Chico, and the house was close and convenient to him.

Perfect for families!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We found the layout perfect, with the big kitchen/living/dining area and our infants loved roaming around on the upstairs bean bags. The house was thoroughly clean and kitchen well stocked with everything you need. We were walking distance from parks and downtown. When staying in Chico, it meets the needs for families.

A Must Stay in Chico

This property was amazing!! I have nothing bad to say except I wish I had an excuse to stay longer. Bedrooms were comfortable, living area and kitchen were a great place to talk and catch up, and if wasn’t for the rain, we would have spent time in the fantastic backyard. Highly recommend this property and looking forward to staying in the future. Cheers!

Convenient location in Chico

Convenient location, seemed a bit paranoid re neighbors' reactions. we had no problems, parking was adequate for at least 4 cars out front. Pots & pans were well used, but seemed clean. VERY hot the week we were here but the AC worked great.

Very pleasant

We really enjoyed the space! No complaints, everything worked as described, no issues with any funcion of the home. Very comfy beds and the kitchen was pretty well stocked :) the open floorplan of the LR and kitchen was nice for watching TV while cooking, and there was plenty of space for us to have privacy as a group of 4 staying there for a work trip. Also, great communication from the host :)

This house was fantastic for our family gathering!! Would book again in a heartbeat!

We had a great time…the layout of the house and backyard space was incredible for our crew ranging in age from 17mo. to 68. Stocked with games for all ages, and a beautiful kitchen, dining and LR that made whole group hangouts perfect!! We may be back up in Chico again, and if we are we’ll book this house again, no question. Our hosts were great! Thank you!!!

A hit and a miss

I rely heavily on other reviews and while I don’t like to give anything less than 5 stars I have to be honest here: Upon check in the upstairs ensuite queen bedroom was at least 110…no one turned on the upstairs A/C before we arrived on the 100 day. The room was uninhabitable the first night (A/C couldn’t get it cooled below 85 before bedtime) so adults had to sleep in bunk room. We paid for 4 bedrooms and only had 3 the first night and host simply apologized AFTER we checked out despite messaging them the next morning. Disappointing - though we did not ask we expected a small credit for not being able to use the 4th bedroom for a night. Also there were 3 outdoor chairs (4 were broken), and literally 4 forks in a house that sleeps 10. We cooked just eggs and couldn’t find a pan that wasn’t scratched. Mattresses were comfortable, but the beds were super low, cheap metal frames with old linens (our sheets were pilled). The sofas were also very small, cheap (one is a futon), and dirty. The house itself is very nicely updated with expensive touches but ALL of the furnishings look like they belong in a dorm room. Also to note if you truly need 3 full baths, the upstairs bathroom shower is about the size of an RV shower…could barely turn around in it or bend over. We did, however, appreciate the layout of the house, quiet neighborhood and location as well as ample coffee pods. We easily parked 3 cars in the tandem driveway.

Amazing Getaway

This home is even better than pictured! Like brand new, plenty of space and different areas for everyone. Nice backyard! Close to stores and good restaurants and Capers Acres. 10/10 would go here again!

Whether it’s boating in South Lake Tahoe, kayaking in Half Moon Bay, snowboarding in Big Bear and Mammoth, camping in Mono Lake, or taking photos our way through Napa and Great Canyon - we are all about road trips and new adventures with family and friends. We also cat parents to oatmeal and orchid. We'd love to exchange stories about raising fur kids.
