Cozy & Comfortable
The Westside gave us everything we needed for our stay. It was convenient to the main thoroughfare in Old Colorado City, Manitou Springs, and downtown Colorado Springs, yet still put you in a nice, quiet neighborhood. The unit has an ample-sized bedroom with a comfortable queen bed. It also has ample bathroom space and a small parlor-like living room. Guests should be aware that the kitchen is not really a kitchen so much as it is a small counter space. A microwave and hot plate are available, but if you plan on cooking, this may not be the unit for you. The table is a small round table, more like a side table, in the living room. Also, as noted in another review, be aware that the only thing separating you from the host's area of the home are two double doors, and you can hear quite clearly through them. If you are a big talker, that might also be a consideration.
All that aside, the home was the perfect home base for us. It was convenient to everything and in a quiet neighborhood. Communication with the host was excellent, and everything in the room was very clean. It was an ideal stay if that is what you are looking for.
