Mojacar Playa – Casa Elena

Beautiful detached villa on one floor only 300 mts away from the beach and within easy walking distance of local shops, bars and restaurants. With 8x4 mts private pool and stunning sea and mountain views from covered terrace and pool area. Very private and walled plot.

Accommodation
Casa Elena comprises 2 bedrooms with double bed and 3rd bedroom with 2 single beds. Each bedroom has its own bathroom en suite. For infants there are 2 folding travel beds available.
At the rear of house there is a 8 x 4 mts swimming pool with outdoor shower, terrace with BBQ and dining table and chairs.

The house is non-smoking inside.

Sea & mountain views excellent , steepish climb from beach to villa not suitable for the elderly or physically impaired. Some issues with fridge freezer as door would not stay shut so had to improvise level adjustment otherwise mostly good accomadation.

We thought the property was great, it was in the location where we wanted to stay due to its short distance to the beach. Pool and outside space was fantastic and the villa was clean and tidy

Wow! Awesome stay

This property was amazing. Perfect for what we needed. Air con was top notch, which we needed. A very well stocked kitchen for when cooking. The washing machine was great as did most of the washing before I The great porch which we used to eat & have fun outside of an evening. The pool was awesome & used all day every day by the party. The location was good, close to Mose things and 5 mins from the supermarket to get supplies. Amazing views! 10 out of 10 for this property!!

Awesome Land and Sea vistas

Lovely villa reasonably well equiped and comfortable.Disappointed with bbq equipment, also some rowdiness and noise from large groups of youngsters staying at nearby property intruding on our privacy when outside by our pool. Otherwise we could see why Mojacar is such a popular resort for a lot of people, we particularly enjoyed the fantastic views of mountains and seascape from our rear terrace overlooking The Mediterranean.

Location was excellent , villa was a great place to relax and had all that we required. Only slight down side lack of Uk Tv for us but not a problem . Would be happy to stay again.

We had a great time. Lovely location. Comfortable villa. We are hoping to book again for next year. The villa is great but some minor maintenance issues should be addressed when not in use and the garden needs some TLC. The pool was super and well looked after, however some of the tiles need attention.

Holiday villa

We have had a lovely stay in this villa. Its in a ideal area for discovering the coast line. We lovec Mojaca village in the rocks. We have had some lovely meals out. The weather for us was great 27 to 30 degrees which was hotter than the UK. The pool was great after a long day out. We would definitely recommend and hopefully will be back again. We did have rough seas and that made swimming not as good as we would have liked. Thank you for letting us stay in your home. Glenis and Alan Collett

family holiday!

this was our first family holiday for fifteen years! Our two sons their partners and our new grandson. The villa with its three bedrooms all en suite was perfect for us. The pool is a good size and plenty of space for sun bathing. Inside was comfortable lounge, and the kitchen had all we needed.

Villa exceptionnelle

Villa très bien équipée tant intérieurement qu'exterieurement. Vue exceptionnelle sur la mer et à moins de 300m de toutes commodités. Piscine exposée au soleil. Le propriétaire est très disponible et donne de bonnes adresses pour activités et restauration. Beaucoup de restaurants, bars et activités pour enfants tout le long de la côte. Je recommande vivement cette location :)

Vacaciones tranquilas

La casa muy cómoda, tres habitaciones cada una de ellas con su propio baño y aire acondicionado. Un salón en el que era agradable estar, a pesar de algún problema con la sintonización de la tv, que gracias al Wifi y una aplicación de video bajo demanda quedaba paliado. Lo mejor de la casa la zona exterior, una gran terraza para comer, tomar algo o estar al aire; y la piscina. La zona muy tranquila sin ruidos y bien ubicada, a 5 minutos andando de la playa, donde puedes encontrar chiringuitos, supermercados o restaurantes. Y en coche estás a 10 minutos de Mojacar y Garrucha.

Absolutely fantastic property, could not have asked for a better location, close to supermarket, plenty of restaurants and the beach is a short 5 min walk and the the pool is brilliant,. Kids loved it, parents loved it - overall 10/10

Hemos estado 9 días y ha sido fabuloso. Casa ELENA es un sitio ideal para pasar unas vacaciones tranquilas, con todos los servicios necesarios a tu alrededor. Las playas están a 300 metros y desde la casa tienes unas vistas al mar muy bonitas. Vamos un sitio muy recomendable.

A very nice villa, clean, quiet and very private, well furnished and appointed.

Although the villa itself and the pool were lovely, we did have numerous issues with the housekeeping/maintenance elements. There were 9 light bulbs I the villa which did not work. On the day we arrived, very tired, we decided to eat in so had bought food locally. However, when we came to cook we found that the 2 gas igniters has no fuel in them and there were no matches - so cold supper! The air/con unit in the lounge had a faulty flap so that cold air could not get out and was obviously wasting power. The bedding supplied was totally inadequate. For example, the master suite bed (superking) had only 2 empty single duvet covers on it and there was no supplementary bedding i.e. coverlet or blankets. As there were only 2 of us, we were able to raid the other bedroom but still had to use the lounge throws, as the only other covering available. On the fourth night the air/con unit in the bedroom stopped working. Suspecting the cause, my husband removed the cover to find the filter completely blocked. He cleaned and replaced it but I suspect the other units are in a similar condition. The hoover, although obviously quite new,did not work, again a blocked filter. Although Martin had obviously spent a lot of money on poolside pots and plants, the watering system had been severed, so that over half of the plants were dying or dead, which was a real shame. The was a broken parasol, base and broken sunbed littering the patio. The removable sun-bed covers should have been laundered but were soiled. The DVD player did not work, but to their credit, Mojacar Estates had an engineer there within a couple of hours and it was remedied. (wires incorrectly connected!?) Individually, these may seem like minor inconveniences, but together they could influence whether the villa was rebooked or indeed recommended. I have already e-mailed Martin with my comments as he also requested a review, and left Mojacar Estates a list of 'Discrepences' as requested. Regards Maggie Blake

Lovely Casa

Beautiful Casa with everything you could want from a home-from-home experience. Not a criticism, rather advice, some sort of "runner" on the floors would be handy when going indoors from the pool, marble floors are very slippery! Wiping feet every few minutes gets a bit tedious. Very enjoyable stay, the pool is a delight - thank you Martin.

It's like paradise with the pool; sight seeing and close to the beaches

Very nice place, the beaches are close to the house (by feet), swimming pool is wonderful. The air conditioning very appreciated and slightly noisy in 1 room (but OK). Only remark on length of beds for teenagers (too short bed, mattress OK) and very difficult to sort the trash (recycled bin for bottles, cartons, etc are not really accessible without a car). Très bel endroit, les plages sont proches de la maison (à pied), piscine vraiment top. Air conditionné apprécié mais légèrement bruyant dans 1 chambre (OK). Seule remarque sur la longueur des sommiers pour ados (matelas OK, sommier + court), et très compliqué de trier les déchets (les bennes à déchets recyclés, bouteilles et cartons sont non accessibles à pied). Globally a very good experience, we may rent once more. Globalement une bonne location, que l'on pourrait renouveler.

Unas vacaciones estupendas

Hemos estado en Casa Elena un grupo de amigos durante una semana en Agosto, y la casa nos ha parecido una pasada. Está muy bien ubicada, cerca de la playa, zonas de comercio y entretenimiento. La villa está perfectamente equipada, tiene espacio de sobra para las 3 parejas que hemos ido. Ha sido muy práctico que cada habitación tuviese su propio baño, y hemos soportado muy bien el calor gracias al aire acondicionado que tienen todas estancias. La parte exterior de la casa es una maravilla con la piscina y el porche, ha sido muy agradable el tiempo que hemos pasado allí.  Además Martin Braun, su propietario, ha sido muy atento y amable con nosotros en todo momento, lo cual es de agradecer. Recomendamos totalmente esta casa en Mojácar si quieres pasar unas vacaciones estupendas.

Vacaciones ideales

Estuvimos en Casa Elena una semana durante el mes de junio. La estancia ha sido muy agradable, la casa está excelentemente ubicada con supermercados, restaurantes y playa cerca, aun así la zona es muy tranquila. En general está muy bien equipada y limpia. El único inconveniente que encontramos fue que salían insectos por los desagües de los baños y que no pudimos sintonizar la tv de la habitación. Por lo demás todo bien. Repetiria sin duda. Mojacar es un lugar bonito lleno de gente amable. Cristina

Muy agradable estancia en la casa

Nuestra estancia en la casa fue muy agradable y cumplió con todas nuestras expectativas; estaba cerca de la playa, era muy tranquila, tiene muy buenas vistas, tiene una buena piscina y terraza para comer y cenar y las fotos que muestra Martin reflejan al 100% cómo es la casa. Pasamos unos días muy agradables y tanto Martin, por correo, como Wieland personalmente, nos ayudaron en todo lo que necesitamos. Recomiendo la casa plenamente. Javier G.

Schönes Haus, erstaunlich ruhige Lage

Das Haus ist toll. Jedes Zimmer hat ein eigenes Badezimmer. Alles sehr sauber. Obwohl das Haus gar nicht mal so weit entfernt von der Hauptstrasse liegt, ist es doch erstaunlich ruhig. Nachts kann man das Meeresrauschen hören. Lediglich das WLAN hätte stabiler sein können. Gruß

Très belle villa à Mojacar playa

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour à "Casa Elena". La maison est spacieuse, bien aménagée et décorée avec goût. On s'y sent comme à la maison. De plus, elle bénéficie d'une salle de bains + WC pour chaque chambre (très appréciable) et de 2 douches extérieures. Elle bénéficie de grands placards dans chaque chambre (pratique pour le rangement), de grands lits. La climatisation est présente dans toutes les chambres et dans le séjour. Nous l'avons peu utilisée car en laissant ouvert la nuit et le matin l'air y circule constamment. La terrasse est exceptionnelle car très bien exposée et ombragée. Nous avons pu y assurer tous nos repas (petit déjeuner, déjeuner et dîner) sans être gênés par le soleil. Le descriptif est conforme aux indications du site. Il y a de nombreuses informations sur une plaquette qui a été mise à disposition par le propriétaire. L'office de tourisme est très proche. Très bon accueil de Weiland (notre contact sur place). La piscine est très appréciable notamment les jours de vent car abritée. Néanmoins, nous avons eu un petit souci d'algues qui a été résolu par la personne qui s'occupe de l'entretien de la piscine et nous avons pu en profiter pleinement. Martin pour améliorer la prestation : - prévoir une meilleure connexion wifi car il a très mal fonctionné durant le séjour. - prévoir une 2ème bouteille de gaz (nous sommes tombés en panne un soir et n'avons pas osé déranger Weiland). - prévoir une essoreuse à salade pour les français c'est important :) - une plancha serait appréciable (mieux que le barbecue). Avec ces quelques points améliorations, on aurait donné la note de 5/5. A proximité une supérette et une multitude de restaurants. La plage est à 300 mètres. C'est un très bel endroit entre la plage et le village blanc de Mojacar. Le 12 Août il y avait la "fiesta de las velas" à Mojacar village. Tout le village blanc est éclairé par des bougies et les gens sont invités à s'habiller en blanc. C'est splendide. Attention, il y a beaucoup de monde vous devrez surement vous y rendre en bus. Nous vous recommandons Casa Elena ; vous serez ravis et passerez un très bon séjour. Merci Martin pour vos réponses rapides par email. Votre maison est très chaleureuse.

Magnífica casa para vacaciones en Mojácar

Situada a un paseo corto de la playa en una zona tranquila, cercana a chiringuitos, supermercados y otros servicios. Para los que quieran más movimiento, hay una zona más ambientada a la que se puede llegar andando. La casa es muy cómoda y tiene todo lo necesario para pasar unos días de descanso. Magníficas la terraza y la piscina. Las personas de la agencia local fueron muy amables y lo único que necesitamos de ellos (sustituir la bombona de gas terminada por otra nueva) lo resolvieron inmediatamente. Casa Elena cumplió con nuestras expectativas. Recomendable para pasar unas vacaciones tranquilas con todas las comodidades de una casa.
