Great holiday is a lovely town and a spendid Villa

It was a lovely villa in Mojacar. With stunning views. Pool was great the kids loved the deep end as they could dive in! Had loads of BBQs out on one of the two outdoor areas. Ate great Tapas at the local restaurants that were in walking distance. Beach was withing walking distance - Overall a great place to go and relax !

A beautiful place in the sun

This villa is such a magical place. The views , pool, outdoor area and the villa itself are just truly amazing. I would recommend this villa to any family that just want to feel home from home. My family had the best two weeks ever and mojaca is such a beautiful place I highly recommend . Thanks Hilke got a great two weeks 😊

Amazing Villa

We searched for weeks to find a villa that ticked all the boxes and this one does. Privacy , sea view , close to restaurants / beach etc, good pool and plenty of space inside. It was better than pictures on website and came equiped with everything and anything you might need. This one will be hard to beat ...

A little too difficult to get to because of location. Very steep walk for about 1K. Had to use car modt times we went out and normally we would walk.

Multigenerational half term holiday

All great with the house. Wonderful to be on one level once inside. Kitchen equipment fab and pool and all other rooms great. The downside was the hill which we didn’t realise was so steep from the house down to the playa - which was difficult for the elder 2 in the group, and meant driving or taxis. The price to pay for the view!

The High House

Fantastic property in a fantastic location with stunning views. As the name suggests there is quite a long steep hill up to the property so don't be surprised. Only improvement I would suggest is an 'rejigging' of the telly to make an external hdmi port available. Couldn't connect our devices to the telly and hence had a lesser choice of entertainment eg films, music for when the weather was overcast ( we stayed for 2 weeks in Feb, about 4-5 days we're overcast).

Great family villa

Great family villa as lots of space with great views. Walk back up the hill was never ending and after doing it once we had to use taxis the rest of the trip. It isn’t made clear just how steep and long the walk back up is! The car wouldn’t even pull away if you had to stop at certain points of the hill to give way- we had to roll back to a less steep area to then be able to get back up the hill Villa is lovely but bathrooms are very dated and definitely in need of a refurb and the mattresses and pillows are all very hard. We were told we would have a welcome hamper with essentials but this was forgotten which was a shame. Kitchen was well equipped. TV was very hard to work. The villa had amazing views so would recommend if you don’t plan on leaving the villa daily.

COMFORTABLE AND QUIET STAY

We stayed at Casa Alta and were very pleased with the property - its location up the hillside, as well as the cleanliness and comfort provided. The location up a winding road is perfect for us as we require a quiet place to stay yet is only a couple of minutes from a lovely and extensive beach from which we swam everyday of our stay. The villa itself is very comfortable for this kind of vacation , firstly; a large modern kitchen that looks very newly installed with all the features to cater for a group of any size. Equally spacious is the living area with comfortable sofas and large screen TV with plenty of channel choice. The pool is moderate in size , but very private and refreshing after a day on the beach. there are pleasant and shady areas on two sides of the property for supper/lunches in the open. Our bedrooms were comfortable and clean and we slept well during our stay and the sheets and towels provided were of good quality. The views from the terrace where we ate breakfast and lunch are particularly notable , being uninterrupted towards the sea. The owners provided good information regarding the villa and the local places to visit including restaurants , the Pueblo village and nearby golf courses. We can recommend this property to others and intend to return in the future. We give it Four and a half stars

Una casa preciosa

La casa es muy bonita y con unas vistas maravillosas. Los amaneceres son todo un espectáculo. Tiene un buen porche con una gran mesa al lado de la piscina. Las camas son cómodas y el aire acondicionado funciona bien, por lo que se descansa muy bien. Está muy cerca de la playa y se puede ir andando en unos 10-15 min, pero como la casa está en alto, el recorrido es en cuesta. Si estás en forma, no hay problema y la casa lo merece!

Excellent séjour

La maison était parfaite, située en hauteur avec une très belle vue sur la mer, la piscine était bien chaude et belle, la maison est grande avec une salle de bain/ douche pour chaque chambre. Il pourrait y avoir une plancha au lieu du barbecue que nous n’avons pas pu utiliser. Les douches n’étaient pas bien chaudes mais cela allait car il faisait chaud ! Les climatisations sont partout et très utiles ! Nous avons passé une excellente semaine globalement.

Tolles Haus mit traumhaftem Ausblick

Wir sind als Gruppe von Freundinnen und Freunden in diesem Haus gewesen und haben unsere Zeit dort sehr genossen. Das Haus bietet sehr viel Platz, viele gemütliche Ecken, einen sehr schönen Pool und einen absolut traumhaften Ausblick auf das Meer. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht und auch die Küche eignet sich super, um gemeinsame Mahlzeiten zuzubereiten. Auch die Lage des Hauses ist sehr gut, zum Strand und zu Restaurants sind es zum Teil nur 10-15 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Auch die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern lief reibungslos. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Un sitio fantástico para pasar las vacaciones

La casa está completamente equipada, no falta de nada: menaje de cocina, ropa de cama, toallas, barbacoa.... la casa estaba muy limpia. La playa está a unos minutos andando, pero nos desplazamos en coche porque a la vuelta la cuesta es muy empinada. La piscina era atendida durante nuestra estancia por una persona que se encargaba de que estuviera siempre perfecta. Hilke, la propietaria, estuvo en todo momento disponible y muy pendiente de que tuviéramos toda la información necesaria para disfrutar de nuestras vacaciones. Incluso nos dejó en la cocina algunos alimentos básicos para que el día de la llegada no tuviéramos que ir inmediatamente a hacer la compra. La casa es preciosa, para disfrutarla.

Amazing and perfect!!!!

It has been one of the best trips we have done as a family. The house is spectacular, it is perfect. The views are wonderful. It is perfectly equipped, it does not lack detail. What can I say about Hilke? She has already been a spectacular landlady, attentive at all times and facilitating everything. The children told us "Mom, we want to come back." La casa nos sorprendió mucho y para bien. Estuvimos tan agusto que salimos de casa menos de lo que teníamos pensado. Preferimos quedarnos disfrutando de la piscina y la bbq. Sin duda recomendable.

Stunning, well equipped villa

We had a fantastic time at the villa. The outside area in particular is stunning with incredible views, a fantastic heated pool and just the sort of seating area you need - plenty of shade and sun if you want it. Hilke was incredibly helpful in the lead up to our holiday and the villa is equipped with everything you need. Mojacar is a great location with a huge choice of bars and restaurants. It's a very steep but short walk down (about 10 minutes) and a taxi ride up in our case. We hooked up with a local taxi company and used them to take us to the big supermarket Consum (about 10 minutes drive) and to dinner to one of the restaurants along the long stretch by the sea in the evening. About 8 Euros each way. Would thoroughly recommend.

This property is stunning, well equipped and very comfortable.

This was our first visit to the villa and we a wonderful stay there. The views are breathtaking and the facilities in the villa are excellent. The villa is a short walk to the beach - albeit up and down a steep hill - but the location is worth the effort. The bars and restaurants in Playa Majacar are varied from cheap to the more expensive so will suit most tastes. We found the people in and around Mojacar very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be returning!

Perfect Villa Holiday

We could not have been more impressed. Excellent communication from the owners both before and during the trip. The villa is so well equipped and the views are simply amazing. Great location with really good restaurants and bars close by. Could not recommend more highly.

Fantastic family holiday

Fabulous villa that catered for all of our needs. The villa is very well equipped and boasts wonderful views. The location allows you to have a quiet and restful villa break - but you can walk down to the beach where there are lots of restaurants, should you want to dine out. The pool was a good size and kept the kids entertained. We have been doing villa breaks for the last 20 years and this is certainly one of the best that we have stayed in and I would certainly stay here again. Hilke (owner) was very helpful and accommodating too, in all of our communication.

Great House, great owner, full of resources

From the beginning the treatment given by Hilke was perfect. The communication with her was constant. She solve all my doubts. The house is perfect for a wonderful holiday. Outstanding cuisine with all the resources to make all the meals you want. I have been renting houses for 8 years and "Casa Alta" is the house with the most resources for cooking that I have seen. Excellent location with stunning sea views

Great Villa on the hills overlooking the main resort. Well equipped and very comfortable. lovely pool. 5 minute drive to the beach, you can walk but a hard return journey. Owners were very pleasant and helpful. We would happily return.

Outstanding holiday location

We had a wonderful time. The villa is beautifully located with a marvellous vista of the bay. The facilities are excellent with (1) large bedrooms and ensuites (2) a well equipped kitchen (3) a very large lounge with sky tv (4) a beautiful shaded patio area for outdoor meals (5) a large pool for swimming rather than just splashing. A fantastic time.

Now we are semi-retired we love spending more time here and our children and grandchildren enjoy joining us and are finding lots to do in this beautiful area. We have improved our villa over the years to make it a comfortable home from home. What do we like especially? the location of our villa- being totally private and at the same time in walking distance of the long sandy beach, nice bars and restaurants- and of cause the amazing view. We hope that you will enjoy your stay at our villa as much as we do.
