We love this home and location, and the host is phenomenal! Deeply appreciative that it’s pet friendly and love the wonderful touches for our fur baby. We booked again for next year, which will be our third stay. It definitely checks all of our boxes.

This was our second stay at the property. We love the privacy and the fenced area for the doggie. The house is located minutes from the Maggie Valley strip and is convenient to all venues. The house was clean and well equipped. No complaints!

Halfback Ridge was the perfect place for our annual Labor Day weekend mountain getaway. Conveniently located to everything in Maggie Valley and just a short drive to nearby Waynesville, it made trips to dining and shopping very easy. The house was the perfect size for our party of five, although we spent most of our time on the wrap around porch enjoying the fresh mountain air and the view. The kitchen was excellent for cooking and the choice of either gas or charcoal grill was also a nice bonus. We also thoroughly enjoyed the popcorn machine. With a picnic table, fire pit and hot tub, we really could not have asked for more. We will definitely consider staying there again! I highly recommend Halfback Ridge to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Maggie Valley.

Hose was fantastic and exactly as advertised! It was amazingly clean and set up wonderfully for dogs! We enjoyed our stay and we booked it again already! The owner communicates proactively and responds instantaneously! You won’t find a better home to rent in Maggie Valley!

This was a great stay for Spring Break. Right in the middle of so much - especially if you are an outdoor enthusiast. Our host really thought of everything at her cabin - from the popcorn machine to the logs for the fire pit. The only thing I would warn people about is that it is a one lane road up to the house which sometimes results in a bit of a stand off. Otherwise, wonderful trip!

Family Vacation

Great experience and beautiful location. The host was easy to talk to and very pleasant. Enjoyed everything that was provided and the hot tub was a huge hit. Can’t wait for our next trip to Maggie Valley.

Great experience

We had a great time staying at this property.It is cozy and clean and all the amenity is there.Hot tub was definitely a plus!! We would definitely rent this property again if we decide to visit!!

Fantastic stay

We had a blast at halfback ridge. The hot tub and view were the perfect addition to a wonderful girls trip to the mountains. Jacquie was fantastic and super responsive with any questions. Would absolutely recommend and will return!

Third stay at this house which should say it all. House is well appointed, very comfortable and clean. There is an outdoor porch with grill for balmy weather. This time we really enjoyed the sunroom with electric fireplace and table for puzzling. Multiple televisions with streaming options for those looking to watch a movie or football game. Short trip to Asheville, Waynesville, or the Blue Ridge Parkway for those who want to get out and about. Strongly recommend.

Absolutely perfect! Great location, awesome views, privacy, fenced in area for our furbaby and also roll-away gates at entry/exit of the porch to contain our furbaby. Very comfortable accommodations with a fully equipped kitchen with anything you may need. Loved the sunroom with its own fireplace to ward off the chill as you enjoy morning coffee while taking in the beautiful view. A very nice and unique accessory was a towel warmer. So indulgent wrapping up in a warm towel after a shower. We loved it so much, we reserved an entire week for next year.
