Welcome to Chipmunk Holler, managed by Carolina Mountain Vacation Homes, a family-owned business proudly serving Maggie Valley and Waynesville travelers since the early 1990s.

This spacious Smoky Mountain retreat in the heart of Maggie Valley is ideal for large families or two families traveling together. Sleeping up to 11 guests, the home combines privacy, comfort, and fun with a new private hot tub, two kitchens, a pool table, and plenty of cozy gathering spaces.

The place was very pet friendly. The hot tub was actually on and hot like promised. The only thing that was a letdown was the pool table wasn’t level so we really couldn’t play a proper game of pool. Over all I had three adults and three teenagers and there was plenty on room for us all to have our own space! Would recommend this to family and friends!

Just what we needed

The house was great and gave the four of us (two couples) a lot of personal space. Couches were super comfy and the hot tub was extremely relaxing to help wind down and destress.

Very nice house

We enjoyed this house. The fire pit and grill outside and a pool table inside for the kids to play. The hot tub was very relaxing! The weeds walking to it outside could have been cut down some but still such a wonderful place!

was able to put the kids upstairs and have some time to chill as a couple downstairs playing darts, pool, and enjoying the hot tub. may be back in the summer.

Great relaxing stay

My partner and family had a great time relaxing and having a greatly located rental to access all our favorite areas around the smokies. 4/5 stars, would be 5/5 but the upstairs A/C did not ever get cold which had everyone upstairs super hot, luckily it rained a lot and with the windows open it stayed cool. It was also extremely confusing figuring out the A/C units and thermostat as well as the lights for outside, so more detailed instructions would be super helpful. Overall fantastic time, and definitely will return!

Wonderful Place

Great place for a family!! Centrally located to everything! Tons of space to spread out. Pool table and Wii were a huge hit. Loved that linens were provided. The only hang up was the trash. Having to take it off was a bit of a nuisance.

Cozy, Comfortable, and Clean!

Everything was great! The beds and couches were very comfortable. We loved the layout and location of the house. Property managers were helpful and quick to respond. We give Chipmunk Holler all the stars!!

Great location very clean easy access

House is a very cute set up. Decorated nicely. Extremely clean. Very easy access and close to town. Beds were very comfortable. And the starter set of paper products was very helpful. Pool table, foosball table, and fire pit were big hits with the teenagers and men. Check out list was fairly easy. I will say we did not appreciate having to leave extra money for the trash bags that we were not able to take to the dump on Sunday since it was closed. Obviously we could not drive it home 4 hours with us. maybe think of an alternate way to solve this problem.

Well appointed property with beautiful decor & SO CLEAN!!!

We very much enjoyed our mountain getaway with our immediate family plus 80 year old grandparents in tow. The home had everything we needed and many things we didn’t expect (foosball table). It was BEAUTIFULLY decorated and we REALLY appreciated the well thought out labels left to make everything clear as a bell! We have already discussed staying here again.

Great Experience

Stayed here for 3 nights and turned out to be a splendid experience. The property was clean, spacious and thoughtfully decorated. Communication from the manger was prompt and clear. The outdoor seating area around the fire pit formed an excellent spot for evening socials while the children enjoyed the games on offer such as pool, foosball and Wii. The location of the property forms an excellent base for exploration of the blue ridge range. It is neither remote nor too urban. Overall, this place is highly recommended.

Loved the stay!

Great place! The house was clean and well stocked. If you are staying just for a few day's, they start you with the paper products. For longer stay's, bring your own. Beds very comfortable. Had fun playing pool with my cousins. Would stay again for sure.
