The Cocoonr/Book&Pay agency offers for rent, in the commune of Saint-Cast-le-Guildo, this charming 109 m² house for rent, a 10-minute walk from the beautiful Fresnaye beach (with a view of Fort de la Latte). It can accommodate up to 7 people. It has a lovely 24 m² living room, a fully-equipped kitchen, 3 bedrooms, two shower rooms and a 850 m² garden. Wi-Fi included, we're waiting for you!
The accommodation comprises
Ground floor :
- 24 m² living room with TV, sofa, 4 armchairs and dining area (dining table for 6/8 people)
- A fully-equipped kitchen with electric kettle, oven, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, hob and dining table.
- Bedroom 1: master bedroom with 1 queen-size bed (160×200), large dressing room, study area and en-suite shower room
- A separate WC
- An outbuilding with linen room (washing machine, tumble dryer and clothes line)
The living room and kitchen open onto an east-facing terrace.
1st floor :
- Bedroom 2: with 2 single beds (90×200) that can be joined together to form a double bed, a desk area and a chest of drawers
- Bedroom 3: with 2 bunk beds (sleeps 2, (90×200)) as well as another single bed (90×200), a small wardrobe and a desk area.
- Bathroom with shower
- A separate WC
For even greater comfort, the owners have decided to invest in the following additional equipment: barbecue, plancha, beach games, high chair, washing machine, cot, washing machine, tumble dryer, ironing board and iron.
Outside :
- A beautiful 850 m² private enclosed garden with uninterrupted views over wooded gardens
- A 25 m² terrace with furniture (table and chairs, garden furniture with armchairs) to enjoy the fine weather.
The house is ideally located in Saint-Cast-le-Guildo, in a very pleasant environment. All the essential shops are close by, as are boutiques, restaurants, bars and the market.
Activities :
- Water sports: Port de Saint-Cast, giant paddle, canoeing or traditional sailing (sailing club at the grande plage),
- Beach activities: Club des Pingouins at the grande plage, fishing (cockles, sand eels) at Plage de la Fresnaye and Plage des Quatre Vaux, sandcastle competitions, walking in the water, etc.
- Other activities: tree climbing, horse riding, golf, tennis, cycling (bike hire 15 minutes away on foot, and a mountain bike network with 3 levels of difficulty throughout the peninsula), hiking on the local customs paths (GR 34).
- Visit the Emerald Coast: Fort La Latte (25 mins), Cap Fréhel (25 mins), Château de la Hunaudaye (30 mins) and Château de Bienassis (30 mins), medieval town of Dinan (40 mins), seaside resort of Dinard (40 mins), village of Saint-Suliac (45 mins), corsair town of Saint-Malo (50 mins), Saint-Malo Aquarium (40 mins), port of Cancale / Pointe du Grouin (1hr), Mont Saint Michel (1hr15).
Public transport:
If you choose to come by car, you can park securely in front of the garage entrance to the house inside the courtyard (maximum 2 vehicles in single file).
As for other modes of transport, here is some information you may find useful:
- Nearest train stations: Lamballe 29 km (about 30 min by car), Saint-Malo 32 km (about 50 min by car)
- Nearest airports: Dinard-Pleurtuit 23 km (approx. 30 min by car), Rennes 90 km (approx. 1? hours by car).
