The Lake & Ski Haus truly is a remarkable townhome to visit throughout all the seasons. Located in the heart of Deep Creek Lake, this home offers both stunning lake and ski slope views. Step into the Great Room and take in the warm decor and glistening hardwood floors. Spend quality time with friends and family as you sit by the crackling fireplace or watch your favorite shows on the flat screen TV. Your kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need whether you are throwing together a snack or creating a full course meal! Dine around the dining table or at the additional counter space. In addition to a full standard bath, you will also find a bedroom on this level with a Queen Sized bed and TV.

On the upper level you will find a full bath as well as 2 more bedrooms, one with a Queen bed and the other with 2 twins. All bedrooms are beautifully decorated and offer plenty of closet and dresser space.

In the lower level Family Room, share time with friends staying warm around the fireplace. Your last bedroom with a Queen Bed and full bath are also on this level.

ski weekend

Overall this property was nice. Clean, well stocked kitchen and comfortable beds to sleep in. We did have a few issues that put together made our stay less than ideal.When we first arrived the heat was set to 72 however the house was very cold, thermostat read 59 degrees. It took several hours for the house to warm up, well after we all went to bed and made for a very uncomfortable first night.The hot tub was also not hot, 70 degrees, and we were unable to get it warm until about 48 hours later. We called the property manager and were told someone would come out to look at it but no one ever did. Somehow it finally heated up and we were able to use it once right before we left.One of the fire alarms battery died in the middle of the night on our first night so we had to take it down and hide it somewhere to not hear the incessant beeping all night.Aside from these minor issues we enjoyed the close proximity to WISP and all the snow we had for skiing.

Nice location and stay

Arriving to this location was very easy and convenient. The space was very nice as well and I enjoyed the fact that the bedrooms were all on different levels. I came with my child so to be able to be in our own space if he was to get rowdy was ideal. The only complaints I have is one the size and position of the TV in the living room on the first level, the fact that the couch did not work/recline, and the two bathrooms with the tubs drained very slow. We called for housekeeping one time but was told they were short staffed so to call for the drain did not happen due to that response. Also, when I booked the room I only paid attention to three of the rooms because I know it was just three adults and we were not going to use the room with the two twinbeds. Unfortunately when we arrived the Toshiba was in the king bedroom room. Why have all these smart TVs and then a Toshiba. To top it off there was no batteries in the Toshiba. Please just upgrade all of the TVs to be smart TVs. We were also told to bring towels, dish soap, toilet paper, paper towels, etc, but they were provided! It would have been great to not have to bring all of that extra stuff of it was going to be provided! Ultimately, our stay was great! I would book it again with those changes being made.or a different home in that same area.
