Amazing place, truly ski in/out! Loved utilizing the kitchen to cook meals, and having the hot tub to relax in after skiing. More than enough room for our group of 4, and the beds were comfortable. I would absolutely stay here again whenever I return to Big Sky!

Liked the convenient location for skiing and the hot tub was a highlight. The unit was reasonably well equipped, but you can tell it’s a pure rental- cabinets and drawers felt cluttered and generic, and the property is starting to show its age.Big downside is the very weak WiFi, which made working from the unit difficult and caused constant issues with the TV’s. We stayed for a week and enjoyed the unit. We would probably rent the unit again but upgrading the WiFi would be a huge plus.

Michael, I am sorry to hear of the problems that you had with the Wi Fi. I wish you had reached out to me during your stay so I could have resolved this for you. Last year we got our long awaited upgrade from ADSL to Fiber and the internet has been running fast ever since and we never had any issue running multiple streaming TV's concurrently. Had you let me know, a simple router reboot would likely have solved the issue, or failing that a call to 3 Rivers our service provider if there was another issue.

Great location. Owner was friendly and responsive. The place was just right size for the 4 of us. The unit does need a bit of an update (like carpet and some fresh paint). Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay.

Location was unbelievable! This is true ski in/out. you walk about 50 feet and you are skiing down to Iron Horse lift. It took us a day to figure out how to get back to the condo without having to climb the hill. You have to ski back down Powder river trail and go around the lodge to make it up the hill with minimal effort. The place was perfect for our family. It is 3 levels so be aware if you have mobility issues. the only complaint that we had was that we found a fingernail clipping on the floor of the bathroom and some chewed gum floating in the hot tub. Other than that it seemed liked it was clean and well equipped. Lift lines were less than 1 minute pretty much wherever we went. Had great snow. highly recommend this place.

Perfect Big Sky Retreat

We love the ski-in/ski-out feature of the property. In the summer you can walk out your door to hike around in the beauty of mountains. It's the perfect layout for families or couples. Ample space and very cozy!

We had a wonderful stay. All the amenities and comforts of home, plus an amazing hot tub. Really nice to be able to spread out on 3 levels. Very easy walk to ski in/ski out at Moonlight lodge. Perfect location. We’ll definitely stay here again.

We spent the week at Casa moonlight 1 and loved every minute of our stay.The location was amazing and convient to all. The unit was top notch and came w/ everything needed to rest, relax, cook and ENJOY. It was the perfect ski in/out scinario. Hot tub was a after sking all day. Weather was amazing. I would come back next year and we are actually planning a summer return!

Location perfection

Casa Moonlight is in the perfect location to enjoy ski in/ski out. Our family enjoyed the hot tub after a day on the slopes, made great meals in the kitchen, and the conditions were perfect! Casa Moonlight could use some furniture updates and more kid friendly kitchen utensils but overall enjoyed our stay.

Perfect ski in/ski out

This is our group’s third year staying at Big Sky. In the past we have stayed at one of the properties affiliated with the resort. We absolutely loved staying at this location with such easy access to our favorite runs on Moonlight side. Having a full kitchen was a plus as well. The cabin had plenty of space for our group of two couples plus two friends. We would absolutely stay here again.

This was our best location ever in the Saddle Ridge condos - close to the lodge, and easy ski in/ ski out direct to the Iron Horse lift. Best appointed kitchen in a condo ever: crock pot, rice cooker, lots of good pots and pans, outdoor grill, etc. very comfortable!

Fran, I am glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay. Sorry to hear that you felt the communication was poor. You were in fact sent comprehensive packages of details about the property the area and the arrival instructions , both when you booked and a few weeks before you arrival date. My records show that you received these promptly and thanked me for these. It was unfortunate that you misplaced the arrival info an hour before your arrival and had to ask me to send them again. Despite my being overseas at the time, you got a replacement arrival package emailed to you within an hour. My housekeeper was also available to you at all times ( contact info in the information package).

My wife (Thai) and I (British) are semi retired and now divide our time between homes in Phuket, Thailand (our previous home/business base) and now, chasing the snow, in Big Sky Montana and Farellones, Chile.

Quite simply Big Sky is the best, largest and least crowded lift serviced skiing in north America. We had been visiting (and renting - mainly in Saddle Ridge) for extended stays for 5 years - and then in late 2009 found prices had become affordable, so purchased our first home in Big Sky. Then in 2011 with a little spare cash to invest decided Big Sky was still a great location for another property investment.
