Quaint Cottage with Wraparound Front Porch

Location, Location, Location! This beautiful cottage is located in the Masonboro area. Minutes away from Wrightsville Beach, Mayfaire Town Center, Lumina Station, Airlie Gardens, and more! Located 8 minutes from Wrightsville Manor, 10 minutes from UNCW and 10-15 minutes from Downtown Wilmington.

This property offers 3 bedrooms, 2 baths and is 1800 sqft. Our home sleeps 8 guests (3 beds and 1 sleeper sofa) and is pet-friendly (fees apply). The following amenities are included: WiFi, a big screen TV in the common area, wrap around front porch, deck area, and a keypad lock front door. Parking is also included.

When entering the cottage from the wrap around porch, you are invited into the living room which then leads to the kitchen and dining area. The hallway off of the living room leads to a full bathroom, bedroom 1, a large laundry room, and then to the master bedroom and bath. Both the kitchen and the laundry room provide access to the outdoor deck area. Off of the deck, you are led to a detached building which sleeps 2. The detached building provides a sleeping area, with heating and AC.

Come enjoy our beautiful beach town! You won’t want to leave!

Came to visit Wilmington for my 21st birthday with some friends. The house was perfect size and space. Nice porch with a great yard in the back. Will definitely be returning.

Awesome clean house in great location

House was in a great central location and was very clean. The hosts were very quick to respond to my questions. Comfortable beds and will definitely be back for my next trip.

Unconcerned property owner

Where to start? 1. Door lock not functioning due to poor upkeep. Owners answer? Here is 1 key for everyone to use. 2. We went out to the screened in front area, I sat down in a rocking chair, so did my wife. Hers proceeded to collapse and fall apart, I helped her up and tended to her cuts and bruises. Owners response? It's less than a year old, I don't believe this happened 3. Bed-the absolute worst bed I have attempted to sleep in, when you lay in the bed the foot of the mattress pops up and the only way to get out is to roll into the floor and stand up. Owners response? Maybe I need to look. (You think?) 4. The worst of it-we were meeting family and having Thanksgiving there. We had almost all of the food left due to the fact its hard to have a appetite when you are busy killing roaches. Owners response? It's almost time for the exterminator to come. Parker-if you have roaches before your scheduled exterminator visit shouldn't you increase the visits? So, the ONLY good thing is the location is ok. There are no other positives for this house and owner. The ad should read Dilapidated roach infested house for rent. I will update as I can on legality of advertisement, compared to what was actually rented to us. What we did wrong-after the owner was notified of the faulty door and lock, the response was to tell us about the place that 1 key was. Between our different schedules the key was passed around and we inadvertently packed it. I offered to pay for new key. When I mentioned the above items to Parker, it was sent back that we were the worst renter he had ever had. Parker-the stains on the blankets and sheets were waiting on us to arrive. Did you need to clean after we left? Certainly, I am confident we left it in better shape than our arrival, especially since we killed so many roaches, I know for a fact any dishes that we used in your house had to be washed first. We tried to let the owner know the nastiness and issues of the house, we did not ask for a refund or credit, I was happy letting Parker know, and I had felt that was sufficient, but since Parker felt the need to pass blame and take no responsibility I was pushed into forewarning other travelers about this property. For the money Parker charges for the "house" you can do so, so much better. Please don't make this mistake that we did. Stay elsewhere.

Musty but worked.

Location was perfect for all the wedding events we attended over 4 days. This is an old property with little updates. As such the air is musty. We were all sneezy and itchy eyes before we left. Beds are covered with plastic so it’s a noisy nights sleep. It worked but would not stay again.
