KING SIZE BED! Super comfy mattress! Pet friendly preapproval required. Historic cabin nestled directly on the Cumberland River. HOT TUB TO DIE FOR! Only a 5-10 minutes from anywhere you want to visit in electric Music City! This Cabin is featured on LOG CABIN LIVING HGTV.
You are a short boot scoot to downtown, convention centers, Grand Ole Opry, 5 points, Nissan stadium, and Nashville International Airport. Wave to the General Jackson when it comes by. We have free range chickens.
Your host will be on property and available for anything you need during your stay.

Coziest Cabin!

We loved our stay! We were immediately in heaven with the wood burning fireplace! Our family of 6 lived in the cozy den and sun roomoverlooking the river! We saw a bald eagle every day perched right outside the glass!! The beds were comfy and everything was clean!! Kids also loved the basketball goal and hot tub! I would stay again in a heartbeat!

Great home away from home!

Our family really enjoyed staying in this cabin - it was clean, comfortable, and convenient to both downtown and Opryland. We definitely would stay again if traveling to Nashville!

The Cabin on the Cumberland River

My husband and grown children and I stayed for 5 nights at this charming and rustic cabin hosted by the most wonderful people We were in heaven here and I actually preferred staying at the cabin to anything we did in Nashville Dawn was as amazing as sunset from the deck overlooking the river It was spotlessly clean and we loved our stay here

River Cabin

The River Cabin definitely has an inviting and rustic charm, It was a well equipped retreat. Everything was just right. The only item I would mention is the town of Madison is not very becoming. The real question is "would I book this again" and the answer is a resounding YES!

Perfect stay in Nashville

This is a perfect spot to stay! It is close to downtown but secluded with a beautiful view of the river. It is very spacious inside and has all sorts of nice touches like board games and welcome candy! I highly recommend the hot tub too!

Just what the Doctor Ordered!

From the property to the host everything was perfect. I had several conversations with Monica and Reuben. They are amazing host and went above and beyond to make sure me and my family were happy and comfortable. I will defiantly be back and highly recommend.

Beautiful cabin

We had the best weekend here. The cabin and property are both awesome! It was very clean and very well stocked with a lot of extras. It had literally everything you need and more. The beds were very comfy and had nice bedding. We loved all of the unique decor. Monica, the host, was so nice and accommodating. We absolutely will stay here again if we are back in the area. 10/10!

Amazing private Cabin Retreat with River Views!

Amazing stay and experience at this wonderful log cabin overlooking the Cumberland river! Was perfect for our family gathering! The house had everything we needed, the kitchen was fully equipped, great layout for entertaining and the separation of bedrooms was perfect for privacy! We knew we hit the jackpot when we entered the gated Drive and motor Court! Also, great location close to Downtown! Hope to visit again this Winter! Cheers!

Nashville getaway

Great place to rest

We had a nice stay. There were not many amenities super close by, but it didn’t hamper our enjoyment. The only improvements we can see would be to offer washcloths (maybe we missed them) and to clean off the outside furniture. Thank you for having a great place to land while we explored the city.

Wonderful!!!

We enjoyed our time at the Cabin on the Cumberland! It was perfect and exactly like the description!!! Every room was so comfortable and relaxing! We really enjoyed the patio overlooking the Cumberland River. We even saw a Bald Eagle perched out back!!! Out hosts were awesome!!! I hope we can come again soon! Would highly recommend!

Great place. Love the cabin atmosphere.

This property was just as described with all the amenities you would need. Monica and Rueben are gracious hosts and fun to visit with. It’s close enough to Nashville to use Uber or taxi. We stayed 5 nights. Also if I were a chicken, I’d want to live in their chicken coop. Lol If you’re ever in our area, look us up!!

Perfect getaway

This cabin is absolutely gorgeous! So much memorabilia, rustic charm and perfect for our family. Everything is 15 minutes away, yet the cabin is peaceful and quiet. Our 8 year old really loved to play with the chickens! The host were exceptional and made sure we had everything we needed for the duration of our trip. We created beautiful memories on this trip and would highly recommend this cabin!

Perfect Cabin for a Weekend in Nashville

This cabin has it all. Nearby access to highways and proximity to downtown (we mostly used a rental car but we were easily able to Uber to and from Broadway as well). Beautiful decor and little touches like a nice sound system, a well-equipped kitchen, and heated bathroom floors. Outside amenities including a hot tub, fire pit, and grills, all overlooking the river. And to top it off, a communicative, thoughtful host who was a pleasure to coordinate with. Can't recommend this cabin enough!

Beautiful Cabin

The home is beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean. The kitchen and bathrooms are well stocked. We cooked several meals at home and found all the cookware and spices we needed. There didn't seem to be river access, but there was a lovely view of the water. The location is 15-25 minutes to most Nashville tourist activities. Highly recommend the Zoo!

Beautiful Time at the Cabin

This was our first time renting with vrbo and we were a little worried, but Monica and the Cabin were wonderful! There was nothing to worry about at all. Everything was clean. The cat and chicken (both outside) were more than welcoming. The view on the river was gorgeous. We got visited by several cardinals, blue jays, wrens, herons, and bald eagles. Very close to the Grand Ole Opry, too!

THIS CABIN WAS BUILT IN 1950. THE CEDER LOGS ARE HAND HEWN AND DATE BACK TO THE EARLY 1800'S. ORIGINAL HARDWOODS, SOARING CEILING IN THE MASTER BEDROOM. BEST VIEWS ON THE CUMBERLAND RIVER.
