This beautiful two-story, 5 bedroom/4 bathroom home is the perfect space for a large family or group of friends. This luxury home is only 2 blocks to the beach, the trendiest restaurants on Calle Loiza and a quick 15 minute drive to SJU airport as well as Old San Juan. It comes with WiFi, cistern, parking, laundry, outdoor grill and beach chairs/towels. Located in the gated neighborhood of Ocean Park, it provides a safe and beautiful space to experience the best of the beach and city life!

Couldn’t have asked for a better place

We loved our stay! It was more spacious then I imagined! Great for the 3 generations that we vacationed with. Great neighborhood, close to beach and restaurants.

Perfect location and family home

So hard to find a quality home that could accommodate us this past holiday. This was the perfect amount of stay for a family of 10. Great location with walking distance to the beach, great food spots, etc. highly recommend.

A beautiful space!

While unfortunately the house had no power for the duration of our space, the space was lovely and Kiki was super helpful as we went through the weekend without power. There were towels, clean linens, and overall a great area with yummy food.

Perfect wedding weekend in San Juan

Great location, comfortable house with space to spread out. The house perfectly suited our multi-generational needs as we gathered for a family wedding. Kiki was a super host, very responsive to my messages and quick to answer and to offer solutions. Her recommendations for places to eat were spot on.

Great place in safe neighborhood to stay with friends and family

If you want to stay in San Juan close to the beach with a big group of friends or family - this is a great choice. 5 minutes on foot to the beach, safe neighborhood, walking distance from bars/nightlife. Property is, aside minor changes, as displayed in the listing. And provides everything you need to start of with. Kiki was very friendly, helpful and answered promptly which we very much appreciated.

Wonderful location, big enough to space out family and have personal space!

I really enjoyed my stay at Casita Verde! It is a beautiful home with plenty of space for our large group of 12 ranging from adults to 5 kids under10. Having a washer and dryer on site was also huge since we stayed for almost a full week and we didn't have to pack different outfits for every outing. The power did go out in Ocean Park while we were there but it was only out for a few hours, we were at the beach when we found out so it didn't super affect us. When we got to the house the host provided us with flashlights and we went out to dinner while the power was out. Luckily the power was back on by the time we got back. I definitely think they could benefit from even a small generator to power fans or perhaps battery-operated fans, I'm asthmatic so I was worried about the heat while I slept but luckily it wasn't a problem! (Just figured i'd make note). Everything you could need during your stay they'll accommodate, you just have to ask. The woman who cleans and helps oversee the property was so helpful and kind! Couldn't have asked for a better location.

Nice home but …

The home looked exactly as it did in pictures. Very nice and safe neighborhood. In a good location. But… first day in I day in a chair and it immediately was broken. I’m only 130 lbs. I realized the chair may have been previously broken but wasn’t fixed properly. Also the home is actually a few blocks away from the “swim” beach area. One of the downstairs bathrooms had a shower drainage issue. we informed the host they came by and stated they didn’t see anything wrong. But I have video proof. Also the WiFi didnt work at all during our stay. A couple of guests are remote workers and had to visit a local cafe to use WiFi. We couldn’t watch television either. There were no batteries in the remotes.

Worst experience renting a home

I booked this for my large family and was so embarrassed. When we first arrived at 4 pm the cleaning staff was there until 7 pm because she couldn’t get two toilets and one shower to work. And the sliding door was broken and wouldn’t close so it was a security hazard. Kiki the host said the plumber would come arrive to fix these issues at 8 pm, then 10 pm. I had to wait until after midnight for the plumber to finally arrive to fix these items. Kiki confirmed in the VRBO app in writing that she would at the very least credit me for one night for the inconvenience. After the plumber fixed these items, Kiki said I should have known how to fix them because the plumber did it quickly and now she’s not going to credit me after confirming in writing. Everything was falling apart, aged and dirty. There was sand in the sheets in one of the rooms so we had to stay up until 3 am cleaning and drying all of the sheets in the house because we didn’t trust the cleanliness of the home. the living room and kitchen are so small you really can’t spend time with your family anywhere in the home. And the host is a complete liar. These were her exact words in a text message “I understand and of course we will compensate tonight. I will put this in the app so that you have it documented as well.” I have never left a bad review like this and I actually own a few rentals so it’s personal for me when other properties / hosts ruin it for the rest of us when they don’t do the right thing. Very very disappointed.
