Just back from a 3 week stay in Feb 2020. The apartment is immaculate, beautifully furnished and well equipped. The rooms and balcony are spacious, the beds were large and very comfortable. We booked for a 3 week stay and were a little disappointed when we arrived to be told it was not going to be cleaned during our stay, although it could easily be arranged with an oncost, we’ve never booked anywhere for 3 weeks before so perhaps that’s something we should check in future?
The swimming pool is only 1-2 min walk away, in front of another block, you can’t see it from the apartment and the water was quite cold. It’s a lovely pool area and there were always sunbeds and umbrellas available.
The view is of the sea and the sports centre, although there is some noise from the sports we didn’t find this a problem and actually enjoyed watching some of the activities. There is some construction work nearby and within view but during our stay it was quiet.
When we arrived we were told the water pressure was poor and it’s an issue locally, although you could shower, it wasn’t great and was a bit frustrating.
The apartment is within a secure and well kept, gated resort but is up a steep hill, if you are walking as we were, it can be a challenge especially when it’s hot. A couple of taxis refused to go into the resort, as although there is a button for them to get out they were worried they’d get ‘stuck in’. It’s only a 5 min stroll into La Caleta which is a great place with fab restaurants and bars, but if you did want a taxi back from La Caleta some weren’t very happy to do the short trip even with a generous tip.
If you have a car, then the hill and walking aren’t a problem and hopefully the water pressure problem will get resolved.
