Very peaceful Home with Lake Barkley in your back yard! Private Dock Sleeps 8

Our House: Welcome!! 3 bed 2bath includes two queen beds, one full bed, plus full fold out sofa bed. There is also another sectional sofa that does not pull out.
In our waterfront home you wont find any stairs, the easiest walk to the lake is right in the back yard! We love that our yard runs straight into Lake Barkley with very little slope and is one of the few lots without a single stair to our private dock. Come enjoy our peaceful deck as you listen to the wild life around you and watch the boats go by. We are frequently visited by deer, squirrels, and lots of hummingbirds! The house offers a fully stocked kitchen, along with a Keurig coffee maker bar that brews a full pot or K-cups if needed. Ample parking on our private drive gets you right to the homes front door. 2 living areas that offer plenty of space for relaxing after a long day on the water
1 bathroom offers a walk in shower, 1 bathroom has a tub shower combo
Towels, cloths, and soap are provided/beach towels are provided as well. Pets are allowed upon request, please let us know who is coming along and what breed and type they are. If you are bringing a boat, the marina is right around the corner of our cove where you can put it in. Eddycreek Marina is the name and they also are a full service marina with a restaurant. We are in a fairly shallow/calm cove where you can easily swim off the dock and fish with no wake but only a half mile from the main channel. Land Between the Lakes Recreation Area is close by and there are many restaurants on and off the water in the area. We hope you enjoy!

Great stay, not sure the cleaning person finish the job. We had boats and it was a little difficult to get in and out. Beautiful view and very quiet.

The home was very nice, we enjoyed the view and had a good time fishing. The only thing which is not your fault, is we are all old. 60 . We could not use one of the beds cause it was too tall. We couldnt get on it. And the chairs were too tall too. We did have a good time thank you.

Everything as far as the house was concerned, was great! Two issues we had were the many wasps we had to deal with on the deck(We killed at least10-15) and the lack of a ladder on the dock (we had two disabled people who couldn't get in and out of the lake). The house was very cozy and home like, just wish everyone could have swam.

Perfectly situated in a quiet cove off Lake Barkley. We enjoyed our week here it was very peaceful. The home was well equipped with several sitting areas, 2 fridges plus a chest freezer and large couches. The dock was just right for our Sea Doos and the marina was just a few minutes away.

Weekend on Lake

The property owner was very gracious when we contacted him for questions. The home is spacious and well kept. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch and watching wildlife. Eight deer visited the first night we stayed. We would rent again from this owner. Thank you

Quiet

Nice and clean. Very comfortble, outside and inside. If you want to fish, Id suggest bringing your boat. The inlet is shallow and the water was pretty warm. As far as relaxing, peace and quiet, this is the place. Lots of deer in the yard daily plus a barn owl would check in occasionally. . Overall awso.e place!

Retirement Celebration & Family Time

The house, boat dock, and back yard were all wonderful! Impressed with the variety & well stocked house and clean. It was comfortable and terrific for the adults & young grand daughter. The host, Henry, was helpful and responsive. Our best long weekend experience at the lake.

The place was great. Clean, nice living spaces, adequate refrigerator space, nice flat yard down to the lake. Recommendations: bug treatment service. Bugs made it difficult to sit on deck. Remove fallen down tree.

Peaceful

Enjoyed our stay. The property is great: allows kids to run around the large yard and play on the waterfront. Then the two living rooms allows the adults and the kids to have separate areas. We also recommend families go to the nearby Venture River Water Park!

Lovely Lakefront Property

Very clean, well equipped with lake access from the backyard. Host is very nice and quick to respond to inquiries. Great for motorcycles because the roads and driveway are all paved.

Peaceful Oasis

The property is just how it is in the pictures. The response from the owner is fabulous. We seen deer everyday, an owl landed on the deck. A yellow bird, maiden nest and the babies hatched and we got to see them be fed everyday. Two doors down in the backyard. Two deers and a baby Fawn and we got to watch them everyday. If you're looking for a very relaxing place to stay, I would highly recommend it.

A lovely setting

We really enjoyed this place. We appreciated the gentle slope to the water and that it was easy to swim off the dock. The owner had thought of many little touches that made our stay more pleasant like lots of drawers and hooks, and it has better showers than many rentals. We also appreciated that the internet was very good. We would definitely like to stay here again!

Incredibly family friendly

Everything from checking in to checking out was easy and ready!! The property had tons of extra amenities which is always very helpful. The flatter land was perfect for families with children to play.
