The house is wonderful. The location to the lake isnt right on the water but the walk to the private dock is very easy. The home is well ls stocked. There are plecty of pots and pans for all cooking. Rooms are good sized and comfortable. The master bed is a little on the high side off the floor but still works. The grill is charcoal but is of adequate size. The new deck is nice and a very nice upgrade. My family looks forward to visiting again.

Beautiful lake property

Everything was great with this lake side property. Had plenty of kitchenware and very well organized, provided certain things that everyone needs when they travel. We booked this house due to its location right on the lake. Weather was perfect during our stay. We also brought a boat which for our convenience the property come with a boat dock so we didn’t have to take the boat out every time we finish our fun on the water. I Would recommend this house to everyone and maybe someday we can come back. I also loved the fact that your organization checked in with us to make sure we were OK and if we needed anything. To me that is great customer service most places you never hear from anyone.". Thank you

Our second year here: Place is great, pristine, lots of dishes, towels etc. even has a Mr Coffee AND a Keurig. Dock is covered and big enough for large pontoon boat. Many rental options around these lakes have very steep slope to the lake. Here you have an easy walk from house to dock, no alpine climbing equipment needed😎. Lake Barkley marina just around the next cove, 5 minutes by boat. Downstairs has fridge and counter with sink so great for hanging out and a walk out to patio under the deck…great way to take a break from the lake. New deck now has stairs to ground (replaced the old one which didn’t). Brand new air conditioners keep the whole place comfy. We’ll be back.

Great lake experience

Overall, the stay was good. There was an issue with the ac unit upstairs, but the home owner addressed it immediately. The property was clean and enjoyable.

Great house for a lake getaway

Terrific lake house that checks all of the boxes. It has the space, the lake access and all of the things you need in the house to enjoy a weekend getaway. Great location with close marina access by boat. the bedrooms have plenty of room and comfy beds. Lot's of ability to spread out in the house when you're not on the water. Grill and kitchen had all you need. Two small issues. A. We never received the checkin instructions from VRBO and it took a little effort to get in touch with the owner. B. No "in unit" checkout guide. We didn't get the instructions from VRBO and the owner was a little tardy in responding to our request for instructions on what we needed to do when we checkout. C. the photo of the dock is a little misleading. You share the dock with two other slips. No big deal. the slip is large enough for a 25 foot tri-toon. but overall this is a perfect lake house.

nice and quiet

The home was easy to find and had a nice gradual walk to the covered dock. Home owner was very friendly and easy to work with. Check in was easy as was checkout. Home had board games, but would love to have seen a puzzle or 2 for rainy days. All appliances worked as needed. Upstairs patio was great to sit out on, plenty of shade and furniture. The beds were comfortable and house had plenty of dishware in kitchen. I would have liked more plastic cups, plenty of glass cups. I would gladly stay here again and look forward to it in the future.

Great location and perfect for a family

This worked well for our families to gather for a summer vacation especially since it had the 4 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. Water was always hot for everyone that needed showers. Albeit the cooking area in the kitchen is tight, there was enough seating at the dinner tables for our large group. The lower level of the house was one of our favorite places as it stayed nice and cold down there. It was perfect for our coolers to hang out (note: there is only one fridge/freezer with a small midi fridge in the garage). It also has nice size sitting area that is super comfy! The house has Adirondack chairs we line up in the spacious back yard while playing yard games and relaxing. We also used the fire pit for a late night roast. The access to the boat dock is super easy and located directly down the yard of the property. We brought our boat and we were able to use the middle slip with no issues. We met neighbor Neil (who has the boat slip next to the one we used) and he was a delight to talk with. The house does have one quirk at this time…all the decks do not have stairs to each level. You have to come in the doors and go inside and up/down to the next level to access. For us we didn’t care as we mostly only used the main level deck in the evening while us adults relaxed. Another thing to mention for those basing sleeping quarters off of the pictures: the lower bedroom has a double (or queen bed not exactly sure) with a couch and one bedroom upstairs has a day bed with trundle with bunk beds as well. All beds were very comfortable and to note all bathrooms are not connected to any bedrooms. We had access to everything we needed and enjoyed ourselves. The host is super nice, informative and we enjoyed talking to her. Look forward to using it again in the future.

Great lakefront location

Great location on lake Barkley. We enjoyed the fire pit and dock was easily accessible from the nearby ramp. The house was comfortable and has a well stocked kitchen.
