This charming cottage has been a favorite to Bend's non-resident family for the past several years. The owners have discovered their dream home and are generously sharing their cozy 2 bedroom, 2 bath home with you! Columbia features 2 bedrooms, 2 bath, a comfortable living room with gas fireplace, separate dining, fully equipped kitchen, fenced yard, outdoor grill and off street parking. New AC units installed in 2023! Brand new hot tub and EV charger!

Wonderful, easy, and comfortable

The house was lovely! It was in the absolute perfect location for walking to downtown, coffee, grocery, and park. It was so easy to check-in and check-out. We also loved the boxes of kitchen and bathroom items, that was very thoughtful. Will definitely be using this location for all of our future Bend visits.

Wonderful property - easy walk to town

Excellent stay with easy walks to restaurants and breweries. The hot tub was 104 degrees which is just the way I like it. Comfortable beds and a good hot shower.

Wonderful Stay in Bend

The house was perfect for us and our dogs and we loved the location to downtown. The kitchen had everything we needed, the beds were really comfortable and we loved the master bathroom shower and toilet. Will definitely stay here again!

Family Bend Trip - Great location

Great location which allowed us to walk to dinner and shopping. Many parks close so we could play frisbee with dog. Easy access to river to do stand up paddle board. Walked to Munch and Music which was a bonus. Would stay there again!

Well Located Bungalow

Perfect location for exploring Bend - right next to the river, walkable to downtown, restaurants, grocery, cafe, outdoor concert venue etc. House had everything we needed and was comfortable. Would recommend!

Perfect location

We enjoyed being able to walk to downtown Bend, just across the River on a charming foot bridge. It is also easy to head to Mt Bachelor as well. Another plus is how nearby Newport Ave Grocery store is as it is an excellent market and only a 10 minute walk

Welcoming cozy charmer in Bend

The rental experience was extremely easy. Loved the touchscreen assistant at the house and the hospitality app. All super slick and easy to use. Your property is charming, cozy, very clean, and well appointed. The extra touches are very welcoming.

Sweet Home, Great Location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at Columbia Cottage once before in October 2022. The house was and is perfect for the two of us and our two dogs. The master bed and bath are comfortable and cozy with a door leading out to the lovely backyard which was carpeted in golden fall leaves. The yard has a great grass area, well maintained, which the dogs loved. Although we did not use the hot tub I’m sure it would be wonderful on the crisp autumn days and evenings. The kitchen is well supplied for preparing meals at home, which we did most nights. The little living room has a comfy couch and rocking chair with a nice fireplace for a cozy evening of watching TV. The house is in a nice older neighborhood with very easy walking access the Drake Park, the path along the River and the downtown area with all its great restaurants and shops. And the time we were there in October, the fall colors were spectacular! Wonderful little house, highly recommend!

Did not want to leave

This home is cozy, perfectly outfitted, and just a lovely place to be. Even the neighbors are wonderfully friendly! I walked my little labrador around the block every morning and he so enjoyed visiting with the school kids walking to school. The house, bedrooms, and kitchen had everything we needed for a restful and truly fantastic visit to Bend for 5 days of skiing at Mt. Bachelor. I wanted to stay in the home and neighborhood and wondered to myself, "how long can we rent this perfect nest...?". Also walking down to 10 Barrel for pizza by the fire with more friendly, happy people was just the icing on the cake. 100/10 stars. Thank you!!

Perfect for Two

We stayed at this charming house March 2019. We are a couple and planned to use the extra bedroom (with the bunk beds) for our grandchild if he stayed over one night. The house is very nicely set up... big bathrooms, nice shower in master, nice linens and towels. We used the BBQ for family dinner and everything worked fine. The weather was mild winter, so heaters did the job well, didn't need the ceiling fans or to open any windows. The house is clean and there are nice touches: an entire jar of whole beans, three different coffee makers, soaps and lotion, four Bend beers in the fridge to welcome. As a bonus, our car fit in the garage. And while the house is great the location is even greater : ) We walked to the play park with our grandchild, could've easily walked downtown over the bridge, or going the other direction, reached out favorite Bend coffee shop and market. We will definitely stay there again! Thanks Lyndsay and team!

Adequate Accommodations in Bend

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This cottage is well located in a cute residential neighborhood two blocks from the river and a short walk from Bend's charming downtown. Positives: dog friendly with fenced back yard; clean; easy check in /check out process.Not so positives: burned out lightbulbs in bathroom; not enough lighting/lamps throughout interior, so always felt dark - no good light for reading; main living area is small with awkward furniture layout and not super comfortable; TV mounted really high on LR wall, making viewing uncomfortable; MBR bed strangely elevated; weird things like wall clock and flameless candles all not working because of dead batteries; super dull kitchen knives; BBQ couldn't get up to temperature for good grilling; dead hanging planters on front porch.These little annoyances all added up to detract from our stay. Overall, OK but I'm not sure I'd book again. Prefer someplace lighter and brighter with better/more comfortable furnishings, better lighting and a bit more "high end."

Perfect House for a Perfect Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We could not have picked a better location in Bend for this 2 week vacation, which was also a birthday celebration. Columbia Cottage is located in a quiet neighborhood, within walking distance of great coffee pubs, neighborhood restaurants and the wonderful Newport Avenue Market. It is clean and cozy, well appointed with a comfortable living room and master suite. It also has a great grassy backyard, fully fenced, which our two dogs loved. The management company was helpful and prompt in responding to one minor issue which was quickly resolved. Drake Park and the river walk are two blocks away, and the downtown area is an easy walk beyond the Park, with great restaurants like The Lemon Tree and many wonderful shops (all dog friendly!) We could even walk to the Old Mill District along the river trail and enjoyed coffee and delicious goodies at Sisters Coffee, and a great lunch at Greg's. Smith Rocks State Park and Camp Sherman offered great hiking and are an easy drive out of town. When we arrived the trees were beginning to change into their fall colors, and by the time we left they were at peak--just beautiful! We even had lovely poplar and aspen trees in our backyard which turned golden during our stay. This was a perfect jumping off place for our first time explorations of Bend, and we will be back to hopefully stay in the Columbia Cottage again.
