Nestled along Florida’s Nature Coast, Island Place Condominiums offer a serene island escape surrounded by the natural beauty of Cedar Key. Located directly on the Gulf within a true nature preserve, the property is framed by swaying palms, warm Gulf breezes, and tranquil coastal scenery—an ideal setting to relax, reconnect, and unwind.

Whether you’re planning a romantic getaway or a fun coastal vacation, Island Place provides an exceptional blend of comfort, charm, and location. The complex is thoughtfully designed to reflect the historic character of Cedar Key while offering modern conveniences. Guests are perfectly situated next to the city marina and just steps from local restaurants, shops, art galleries, and the grocery store—no car required.

Pet Friendly:
Pets are welcome with a $50 fee per pet, per visit (maximum one pet). Pets must be approved, are not permitted on beds or furniture, may not be left unattended if barking, and must be cleaned up after outdoors. Unauthorized pets will result in a $300 charge.

Additional Information:
• Grills are park-style and located at the end of the complex. Please bring your own utensils, charcoal, grill brush, and lighter fluid.
• No boat parking is available onsite. Public boat parking is located one block east or two blocks north, behind the museum.

Island Place is a peaceful Gulf-front retreat where nature, history, and walkable island living come together for an unforgettable Cedar Key experience.

Relaxing Retreat

This is a perfect little place for a couples retreat in Cedar Key. Beautiful ocean view and right next to the pool. My wife and I have been going to Cedar Key for the past few years, and it is one of our favorite spots to unplug and unwind.

Anniversary

We were excited about staying at Cedar key . Loved the condo . I got upper respiratory infection the day before we went I was sick the whole time so we came home early Sunday . We are better now we will definitely be back !

Laid back & just right

My family of five stayed 3 nights and loved everything about it. We don't spend much time in the room but it was just right for what we needed. We even fit our air mattress in the small living room for the third child. Beautiful view from porch. Walking distance to everything. Quiet and friendly area. I was able to do laundry and wash towels in the unit. Pool area was great too. We will definitely stay here again.

Nice spot on the water

Best spot to see sunset is a short walk either to the bridge or down to 2nd street. Property is very nice - RIGHT on the water! Do not expect to be able to swim at this location but there is a beach about 2 blocks away with swimming. There is a pool onsite that is a nice alternative too. 2 grills in a patio area are available if you want to grill out. Internet is VERY spotty - so if you want to unplug, this is a great location - but if you plan to work will husband fish and kids swim, make sure you have your own way to connect to internet! Plan to grocery shop BEFORE you get to cedar key for a better variety (and price!).

Perfection

This was our second visit to Cedar Key and stayed at Island Place both times - we hope for many more visits and wouldn't stay any where else but Island Place hoping for 106 every time

Cedar Key Serenity

Right on the water with beautiful views and the sounds of seagulls and waves. The property was clean, quiet, and had great amenities. This was our first VRBO stay and we will definitely be regulars after this great vacation experience.

Perfect Stay!

We had a wonderful trip to Cedar Key. This was our 5th trip to Cedar Key and this by far was the best lodging location. Perfect for a family of three, with the the pool, clean and pretty unit, and close proximity to everything. Would definitely stay again!

Perfect place for husband and I.

The locations is perfect! We never moved our car, and easily walked to everything. This unit is clean, and in great shape. The view from the porch / balcony is fantastic!
