Nestled along Florida’s Nature Coast, Island Place Condominiums offer a serene island escape surrounded by the natural beauty of Cedar Key. Located directly on the Gulf within a true nature preserve, the property is framed by swaying palms, warm Gulf breezes, and tranquil coastal scenery—an ideal setting to relax, reconnect, and unwind.

Whether you’re planning a romantic getaway or a fun coastal vacation, Island Place provides an exceptional blend of comfort, charm, and location. The complex is thoughtfully designed to reflect the historic character of Cedar Key while offering modern conveniences. Guests are perfectly situated next to the city marina and just steps from local restaurants, shops, art galleries, and the grocery store—no car required.

Additional Information:
• Grills are park-style and located at the end of the complex. Please bring your own utensils, charcoal, grill brush, and lighter fluid.
• No boat parking is available onsite. Public boat parking is located one block east or two blocks north, behind the museum.

Lovely Waterfront Balcony Property

This is a great property. Really enjoyed the balcony looking out at the Gulf of Mexico and being within walking distance of the bars and restaurants. Well worth the stay and will definitely be back.

Was an awesome place to stay. Never been on the 19th floor of a building and the view was so great. The apartment was very soundproof when the doors were closed. Walking distance to just about everything. Very nice having 2 en suites even though we didn't use the 2nd one. Would easily work for 2 couples.

All good minus two gotchas

The overall star rating is 4 to 5 but, I will lean to 4 because the internet never worked or nearly worked. They are using an extender because I think this is how they are getting internet to the whole section, but what would have been in the past a minor, now it is a major since we all rely on it for everything. I mentioned at the start but the response was: the weather, but that is not true it was bad the entire stay.

Disappointing

This place was very disappointing. The unit was dirty throughout. Looked like it hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned for months. Very stingy on towels. 1 dish towel and only 2 bath/hand towels total. Kitchen utensils, etc sorely lacking. And for the price they charged you had to do the laundry for them. What???

Small but just fine for two

This is a small unit but fine for two people. The balcony has comfortable seating. Extra pillows and blankets. Would like a night light in the bathroom

Overall, a good experience

We had a bit of an issue while checking in, but that was quickly resolved by the property manager. During our stay, our unit was clean & enjoyed a well-stocked kitchen with many cooking essentials. The location of the complex is in a great spot on the island. However, if you want to venture off the island, there’s not much to do nearby & you’ll have to drive pretty far. Overall, we enjoyed our stay & had a good experience.
