Want to experience the real Maine? Come upta Camp, as we say in the undiscovered Downeast. This is our family retreat on the lake: bird calls in the morning, Milky Way on clear nights, brilliant fall colors. Lots of room for families with large fully stocked kitchen/dining room and patio with fire pit. Kids love the floating dock and freedom to roam. Pets can roam too in the fenced backyard. Kayaks provided, public boat ramp nearby. Easy drive to Machias and famous Helen's restaurant.

Lakeside vacation

Private lakeside home with plenty of space and lake views. Easy access to water with many amenities to enjoy lake. Home was equipped with everything you need for your stay.

Home away from home

Beautiful home located on Bog Lake.Spectacular views of the sunrise over the lake and in the evening a peaceful time spent in the fenced in yard. All the amenities you could ever need. A relaxing and enjoyable experience for all .

Work stay

Property was excellent. We were there 2 mos for work purposes. The peoperty made it a pleasure . I would consider coming back and renting during summer for vacation time. Automatic generator was perfe t as a storm knocked out power for a day but we were able to continue with no interuptions. Hosts were also excellent. Tom

Perfect long weekend Retreat!

This quiet. location and lake met our needs to perfection. We spent most of our time outside, where we found the yard, boats and dock very well cared for. Inside is clean and stocked with everything you would need for time away (rain or shine). Just pack your cloths and your food then prepare for a quiet relaxing visit.

Most beautiful place I have stayed!

We had such a great time. Camp was so clean and inviting. Neighbors were the best and very helpful. Can’t wait to stay again. A great place if you have dogs or small kids. The fenced in yard is perfect. Thank you for sharing your camp with us.

30th Anniversary

We rented this property for our friends to stay in while we celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary. It was exactly what we needed! Clean, close to our property and plenty of space for our friends. The neighbors and owners were awesome too! Thank you so much for letting us stay in your beautiful lake house!

Wonderful home away from home

Amazing

The house, lake, location was exactly what we were looking for. It felt like home to both us and our dogs. Fanced yard was great for puppies to run around. Quietness of the lake and neighborhood was exactly what we needed to get away from crazy life.

Awesome experience

This home was not only beautiful and comfortable, it was perfect and spacious for all 6 of us and 2 dogs. The amenities it has truly made this a home away from home, from cooking meals in a well equipped kitchen, watching movies in a very comfortable living areas to playing family games in the dining area. The dogs loved playing in the fenced in yard area and everyone enjoyed the great view of the lake. It was an ideal vacation and would look forward to staying again. Thank you Meggy for responding to every text and keeping us informed on all issues.
